Beautiful antique 1880- 1 890's wicker and rattan tea cart. This cart is a diminutive size and is good quality piece of wicker. The rattan is left natural and the wicker trim is painted in original green. It rolls on four cast iron wheels; with two stationary and two that spin. The iron work is wonderful and the wheels have rubber on the iron. The tray above is removable and covered with the original glass for serving from. This cart is in good condition with only one small area on the bottom shelf with some broken rattan(see photo) There is little wear to the green paint. This piece was well cared for. Italian Tea Beverage Dessert Cart With Drop Down Leaves Greek Chariot
For sale is this Italian beverage cart with drop down sides. It's dimensions are 31" L x 30 H x 15.5" W. With the sides up it is 29.5" wide. It has a Greek Chariot motif in the center and looks like it was inlaid in panels. There are 6 bottle holders on the bottom. There are a few cracks in the lacquer topcoat near the handle and on the top and one long one on the bottom shelf. These aren't hugely noticeable as the wood is light. The black lacquer trim is in nice condition except for some wear on the handle. There is some pitting to the brass finished metal on the wheels. The rest of the metal trim is in good condition. The wood is in nice shape. Notice the leaves are lighter than the center. Rolls well. The wheels are metal with rubber. Will be shipped disassembled. This is the most elaborate and extensive inlay work on an Italian cart from Sorrento that I have ever seen. I have researched these carts to the best of my ability and can not find the family name of the inlayers. Only that they have been crafting since 1957. You can view a video on Youtube by searching Sorrento inlay. I have not found a way of documenting the age or maker of this cart. There are no markings on the cart that I can find. The condition of this cart is very nice and must have always been for display. The lower aprons have some chips on both of them and I will send close up pictures if they do not. Show in this listing. The side leaves can be left down or put up by using slide rails(on the underside, refer to pix) The accents could possibly be brass… I am not positive. The ornate rail and wheels could use a good polishing. There are surface scratches to the glossy finish from normal use. Please refer to the last pic as I detected a scratch on one of the legs. Antique Mahogany Tea Cart Liquor Cabinet with Hinged Top Drop Leaves Copper Trays with Monogram Here is a very unique piece for your home decor needs. Recently picked this piece up at an auction. I do not see a makers mark on this piece. Anyone out there know whom may have made this piece? Your identity would be kept anonymous. Thanks. I myself have never come across a piece like this in 35 years of furniture dealing. The piece looks like a tea cart. However. When the top is folded open, you then have access to the liquor that is stored inside the cart. There is an open area and then another locked area that is accessed by the doors on both ends of the cart. The locks and hardware for the top and ends are still there. But unfortunately there is no key. One of the side doors is locked as well. Only thing I see to report is that the rubber ... moreon the large cart wheels are no longer there, presume they dry rotted out as I have seen on other carts. I see ones for sale on eBay for $11 a piece, plus others on some woodworking sites. There is some finish loss to the top of the cart. Also a chip to one of the folding top pieces. Great detailing on the side of the cart where the drop leaves are. The wheels are all there. The larger ones are a little loose and need some attention(one of bolts is missing its' nut) One of the wood blocks(3" that the folding top sits down on is missing on one side. The drop leaves are in just exquisite condition. They have an interesting system for locking them in place when you open them. As you raise the leaf. There is a spring that pushes the support bar out to then hold the leaf in place. One of the leaf springs works consistently, the other needs some adjustment. The copper trays inside of the cart to place the bottles and glass are are marked up from use. I only wiped down. Did not take any copper cleaner to them. Vintage tea cart with wheels and rollers
This is such a beautiful piece of furniture and a great piece for those of you entertaining The top is covered with glass and that part measures 18" there are 2 drop leaves that extend to 10" on each side which makes the total of 38"for the total. There is a shelf and a pull out handle for easy moving. The are 2 large wheels on the back and the front has rollers. Please check out my other vintage pieces of furniture. Pick up only at Hill top. LOCAL PICK UP.Jackson. Missouri 63701 I think this piece is solid maple wood. It has drop leaf sides that can extend to a table. Age unknown. It is a rolling cart that is in good condition but does show some age wear. Measures about 28" tall. 28" long and 36" wide(if leaves are extended)if not extended with leaves it measures about 18 1/2" wide. Comes from a smoke free home. Thank you for looking.

Early American reproduction, Maple, drop-leaf tea cart
This is a reproduction of an Early American style tea cart. It was purchased in the 1960's. It features a dovetailed drawer. A Formica top and leaves. This item is in excellent original condition The measurements of this piece are 37" long x 19" wide(20" from wagon wheel to wagon wheel) When both drop leaves are open, table is 39.5 inches. Stamp on bottom indicates it was made in Rockingham, NC, but does not indicate by whom.
