Mahogany Waste Basket, 1900-1950, America, Medium Wood Tone, HAmilton Furniture
This VINTAGE mahogany/mahogany veneer waste basket was acquired from a retired California physician in 1983. It is part of a collection of pre-WWI physician's exam room furniture and has been in the office of Dr Joseph Duba since 1986. See separate listings for other furniture items. The waste basket's foot control works fine. There are no unsightly surface defects.

Vintage Arts and Crafts Mission Oak Wood Wastebasket Waste Basket
Vintage mission period wastebasket. Individual planks held together at the top by leather straps and at the bottom by brass or copper nails with large heads. Nice form to the planks with cutout spaces inbetween. Height is 16-1/8 inch. Diameter is 11-1/2 inches. One of the planks is loose. The leather is dried and torn. The leather can be easily replaced. Great vintage condition.
