Auction is for a set of four antique glass ball claw feet-The feet will arrive attached to a set of 4 turned wooden legs-The cast metal claws that hold the glass balls are 4” long including the balls. They have sort of a feathery design on the sides. Good vintage condition– looks like all the toes are there. Please inspect the photos to see the true condition of the glass balls. Some have a flat side; some have bubbles included in the ball. The balls are not in mint condition– they have some defects. The legs are 16-1/2” including the feet and balls. Set of four. Antique, old, metal, wood wheeled, furniture, bed casters, wheels, hardware. These items show overall wear including scratches, discoloration, surface rust, scuff marks and scratches found to the wooden wheels, and one of the wheels has a large heavy wear spot found. The hardware appears to be a cast iron bracket with a steel post; we believe these items to be antique. The wheel diameter is approximately 1 1/8” on each, the treads measure approximately 5/8” wide, and these items measure approximately 7/8” x 1 1/2” x 3” each at their largest dimensions. Up for auction is a single brass lion head furniture pull recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia. PA area. It is found in good used condition and retains its original patina, but the hardware attached is newer. It is made of brass and does not attract a magnet. Group Lot Vintage Metal Antique Furniture Casters Wood Wheels Odd Lot
This is a group of 14 vintage furniture casters-an odd lot of metal caster with a wood wheel. There are no mounting sleeves. The top 4 measure approx 1" in diameter. The middle row about 1 18" and the bottom 3 about 1 14" in diameter. There is wear, and some of the wheels are flat on one side, but none are broken through. All of the stems appear to be about the same size to fit into a standard metal sleeve. There might be enough to make a set of 4, but no 4 exactly alike-this is the last of the"restoration" casters that I had in a drawer for many years.
