THANK YOU. Here is a stunning and very desirable approximately 150 year old antique Japanese small Choba tansu. Or merchant's chest, dating from the Meiji Era around the mid to late 1800's, featuring a lock bar in the center and classical safe compartment at the bottom right. It boasts a natural light colour with a rich honey patina, beautifully shaped hand forged iron hardware, wood peg construction and 8 drawers of various sizes that provide versatile storage options including a full width drawer at the top. It is in excellent overall condition for it's age. But has a little lock issue: as there is no key and the top drawer lock is in the closed position with the drawer open it will not shut all the way. The safe compartment has a tendency to swing open by itself since there is no key to lock it. The lock issue does NOT affect the lock bar which slides in and out of place properly. Please read the description and examine the photos for more details on the condition. Locksmiths and larger antique dealers will own sets of multiple keys to fit a broad range of locks so you should be able to get the drawer unlocked easily enough so it slides into place. With a little patience you could also find an antique key that fits right here on ebay(I can recommend a seller who regularly stocks this type of item) Other small issues worth noting are a small repair in the bottom corner of the smallest drawer just above the safe compartment. The larger top drawer is stiff to open and close due to age and needs a tweak, and one corner plate in the back is bent out of shape. Given it's age there is some wearing off of the blackening of a few small spots of the iron, and a couple of small nails are missing. ANTIQUE ARCHITECTURAL DAY BED FRAME FIREPLACE SCREEN DIVIDER CARVED WOOD DRAGONS
We are pleased to offer this very unique. Architectural salvaged daybed frame. This old(mid to late 1800s) 2 section piece would make a beautiful and interesting fireplace screen, room divider, wall hanging or accent floor piece. It is very nice with a tall plant behind it. It is a constructed of solid wood(oak? panels with a carved, arched top section. The ends of each upper frame feature VERY DETAILED, carved wood, dragon heads. The heads have carved eyes, ears, nostrils and large incisor teeth/fangs. The two panels were, at one time, painted. There is some remaining OLD paint but most of it has worn and the wood is a natural color in these areas. The panels are footed. The original, front facing foot is the only"whole" foot as the others were side or back feet so they have a"sliced" profile. The original bolts, attachment ... morelock, brackets and hinges are still in place but could be removed. The unit is in good condition. There is some wear to the carved dragons, particularly to the ears as a couple of them have chipped. This is not distracting. This is a gorgeous piece. We have the matching unit available under a separate listing. It is the same except that it does not have a front"whole" foot. The piece can be displayed with a straight profile or it can be positioned as an"L" shape. The hinges(which are hidden in between the panels) allow for the unit to be folded. The frame measures 49" wide and 27" tall. IT IS EXTREMELY HEAVY. Shipping via GREYHOUND with insurance provided for you. Real Purple Gang Saloon antique wood door... Gangster Mob Prohibition
I have a very unique piece from the early 1900's era. This great find was one of the many treasures left behind in my old. Detroit building. In the 1920's my building belonged to the infamous Purple Gang. At that time the building was an old funeral home, used mainly as a front for their alcohol smuggling. MY building is located very close to the Detroit River where most of the smuggling was taking place, before it was then transported to the speakeasies, as well as other warehouses and locations for distribution. In the attic of the funeral home part of the building I found this great. Wooden half door. It has stiff weathered, aged hinges still attached. The wood is still very solid, with no splits or major cracks. Measures 27" wide with the hinges, and 35 1/2" tall. The finish is very aged and weathered. Antique Industrial Kitchen Island with Wood Butchers Block Top Army Green metal
This is one of the best pieces I have found in the last couple years. This cabinet would make an amazing kitchen island. It stands 33 inches tall and measures approx 27 inches by 28 inches across the top. The butchers block top is a little over 1 and half inches thick. There is a great deal of storage here as well. All of the drawers are in great shape and move in and out freely. They also run the length of the piece. Now as the pictures show there is some rust. I think it would look great left as is or painted as well. The rust is surface rust and the piece is very sound. None of the rust is through at any point that would leave a hole or something. I have this listed for pickup only but would help arrange shipping or delivery for an extra costs. It is heavy. It is really an amazing piece I hate to see go but hope it finds a good home. This one is extremely rare with the original paint. light blue with darker blue pin stripes and knobs. It measures about 30" wide, 14" deep, and 28" tall. There are two side compartments that extend all the way down with hinged tops that flip open. The side compartments have a curved profile built up by seven sides. In the middle are small, medium, and large storage drawers, with one built in sliding tray for small items(the tray with one piece missing and a slight bend) The large drawer is labeled: Reversible Table Corporation, Carthage, New York, Martha Washington 105(style and model) I got it from an antique store about 50 years ... moreago and it is in the same condition now as when I got it, with normal wear here and there but overall quite nice for it’s age. I got it from an antique store almost 40 years ago where they identified it as an old dentist’s cabinet. It’s all wood with glass panels in the sides and front door. It measures 20" wide. 16" deep, and 30" tall. There is a storage drawer with porcelain pulls on top. Below that is a door with spring loaded hinges at the bottom and metal handle on top, so it swings down in front to open. That allows access to the larger storage area underneath that is glass enclosed. I have no idea exactly how it was originally used by a dentist, but now it is perfect as an end table, display case, accent piece, etc. It shows the same wear as the day I bought it. Rare Antique Heavily Carved Gothic English Wood Commode Toilet Cabinet Table
Really unusual antique toilet- commode- cabinet. I purchased several years ago from a local estate. Who ever originally owned this was fairly wealthy. Its one of the nicest I have ever seen. Its beautifully carved. It has 6 legs with original metal castors. The top has a thin drawer. The middle has a cabinet door. The lower portion pulls out to expose the holder for the chamber pot. Its really a wonderful piece. Also a very interesting piece. Its in fair to good condition. The cabinet door is missing one knob. There are 4 cracks in the left side. 1 crack in the right side. 4 cracks in the back side. A crack in the front cabinet door. It possibly had a backsplash at one time. There is lacquer check. There are several chips here and there. The chamber pot hole cover is missing an edge. Its very sturdy but does have some condition issues. Heavy Antique OAK WOOD & BRASS DESK DRAWER SHELF Worn, Weathered STURDY
This entire piece is very worn in every way yet remains stable and sturdy. This was originally a desk drawer to an old oak desk. The out side is oak and brass, I think the inside is pine. This measures 30" x 12" x 8" and is just about 10 pounds. I would say it is 19th century with much patina. Also as worn as it is there is no mold, no smells or anything repulsive about it. Antique Victorian Bamboo & Burnished Pyrography Wood Etegiere Music Stand Shelf
This is a beautiful antique Victorian era music stand with four scalloped shelves that all have burnished patterns that were applied by pyrography to their top surfaces. It is an absolutely wonderful piece with a clean and charming vintage look! There are a few cracks in the bamboo that don't seem to affect the stability or functionality of the shelf at all. A few shallow cracks in the wood surfaces that don't go all the way through and a few stained spots from age and use. I tightened all the screws to check for loose joints, and they are all tight and not wobbly for the most part, but there were two screws that just kept turning, so the holes must be stripped out in those spots. Overall, when wiggled from side to side, the shelf wobbles ever so slightly but seems pretty sturdy. It will be completely disassembled for shipping, and ... morewhen reassembling, it might be helpful to add a dot of wood glue to each of the joints if the shelf will be staying in one place for a while(not shipped again) It measures 18" L x 13" W x 36" H and there is about 7" of height between each shelf. I have for sale a gorgeous antique hand-carved wood screen from the pre-1900's. This wood screen was given to my great-grandfather by his parents. He then fled what was soon-to-be Nazi Germany with his belongings to the US and this has stayed in the family. Being handed down to my mother once he passed. A real find, pictures do this dressing screen NO justice. It's very intricate and is very obviously hand-carved. Wood type is unknown although it looks to be either a dark walnut or teak(the beautifully dark-striped wood grain is my only tip for this) Hate to see this antique go but I have no room/use for it. A definite FIND! Unknown make- no labels. Tags or brands on the wood indicating such. I did see a screen similar to this one on eBay but it is no where near the quality or detail of this one.

ANTIQUE FRENCH VICTORIAN CHNOISERIE TRAY TABLE BIRDS NEEDLEPOINT GILT WOOD FRAME
We are pleased to offer this extraordinary tray table. This lovely. French Chinoiserie styled table dates to the Victorian era. It features a large and ornate, carved, gilded wood frame as the table top. The legs are permanently attached and the top/tray does not come off. The deep profile frame features a Neoclassical pattern of acanthus leaves with shells along the outer border. There is a painted band of black which separates the inner and outer portions of the frame. The frame houses a beautiful antique petit point(under glass) of intricate birds in a cherry tree. It is quite lovely and colorful and exquisitely accomplished. The table has 4 turned legs. The entire table is giltwood with black over the gilded sections on the legs, the table apron, and a section of the framed top. You can see brush strokes on the black painted finishes ... moreand some of the gold underneath does peek through. There is some chipping and peeling of the black top coat as well. The table is quite striking. We purchased two of these tables at a recent estate sale and have the other, similar table, listed separately. The table is in very good condition for its age. There are a couple of small scuffs to the frame. But they are minor. The legs are good and the table is sturdy but has been braced(underneath) over the years to support it. There is a random nail on the frame face(pic 10) where the frame was attached to the legs. Please keep in mind that this is a very old piece and does have some aging. The petit point is in very good condition with some expected yellowing of the entire piece. There are no frayed areas or rips, tears, etc. This is a very unique antique table and a lovely French Victorian design. The table measures 27" wide and 23" deep(front to back) It is 22" in height. The petit point measures 19.5" wide and 15.5" deep. Measuring just inside the interior frame. Because of the fragile nature of this table. Shipping will be via GREYHOUND. Antique catholic display case wood religious Madonna Jesus french statue niche
I started with an old wooden antique case. This piece is very old. Around one hundred years old. Pretty large in size. Made well, but fragile in nature. I hand painted it gold, in a few tones of that hue and then I distressed it. I added an image of the Virgin Mary with Jesus, and I made it appear to be older with a few methods. She creates a lovely back drop. When I got this case the shape reminded me a lot of a steeple on a church so I imagined a cross mounted at the top point. I added the crucifix to the top how I imagined it should look. I love how it turned out. I think it is very Italian style and really unique. I am influenced a lot by my time living in Europe. I remember some of my most fond memories were admiring the architecture and also the many niches found everywhere in Germany and Italy of the Virgin Mary. You could be at an ... moreold neighborhood or a city street, or an old alleyway and always find these amazing niches or coves of religious figures built into the homes, and tops of buildings. I enjoyed looking for them. I wanted this one to be old world Italian/European feel. It is a one of a kind and a great piece for your religious collections, to house a statue, or use as an altar. The piece has a bit or rough texture in some places due to its old age. There are no real cracks I see accept one or two on the back that are hidden. It is in wonderful shape for its age but is definitely the chippy shabby style. When the light catches the gold really lights up in such a lovely way. This item was also blessed by the priest from our church. Measures 20.5 tall. 15 inches across, and 4inches deep. Price reduced from 155 to 140.

Antique French Carved Wood Folding Privacy Screen 3 Panels w Mirrors Fabric Blue. Gorgeous antique wood dressing or privacy screen that I found at auction. It had original silk fabric that was torn and damaged. We removed that and placed some varied lace in the sections. BUT this can be removed and the rods are in place so you can install your own fabric. Our finish carpenter did some repair work as well. He replaced back footing section of one panel. See photos. He tightened up some of the loose wood and adding calking. We did not paint over the areas he repaired. See all photos. This is just a stunning screen with top portion mirrors in all 3 sections. The tops featured hand carved wood floral, torch and flame pattern. Painted(not by us) a French blue. Some of the carved sprays of flowers that extend down in to the center mirror are missing ... moresections. The screen can be taken apart and laid flat for reduced shipping.
