1 pair of Cut Glass Candleholders approximately 5" tall by 3 1/2" wide. These were purchased in the 1960's from a local jeweler. Not sure if they were purchased new or used. This is a fabulous Antique Victorian Girondole 3 Arm Candelabra. It is 18" tall in the center with a 16" wide span. It has a 6" x 4" x 1.5" white marble base. Each bobeche is 4.5" in diameter and each candle cup is 2" x 2" There are ten original 6" long x 1" wide heavy crystal prisms on each arm. There is a Victorian Woman under a tree at the center. This is is excellent condition. Unfortunately from being moved around for a hundred years the crystal prisms are not perfect and approximately 12 of them have nicks and chips. I put them on the back side and you can't even notice! This is beautiful and really catches the light! I will dis- assemble this for safe shipping and wrap the crystals separately. CONDITION: Most of the enamel decoration has worn off. One of the prisms is slightly shorter than the others. There are the typical nibbles on the sharp edges on the prisms. Up for auction is a wonderful spike candlestick and hurricane globe made by Virginia Metal crafters for Colonial Williamsburg. The globe was either made by Blenko or Leerdam and measures a tad under 18" tall. It is free of chips and does have the occasional bubble that is very common. The candlestick has been used and does have a two tone look to it that adds to its beauty and shows its age. This is really a nice looking pair and both in great condition. Antique Hand Blown Glass Candle Stick Holder This is an unusual candlestick. It's been in the family many generations- really not sure how far back it goes- at least to the early'20s and maybe way further. It has a rough feel to the top of the base and each spiral but is smooth underneath. I thought because of this rough feeling and yellow color it was vaseline glass. But after reading about vaseline glass I really can't say. Anyone out there know anything about this? The base measures 5-inches across and it is 3-inches in height. There are a number of air bubbles in the base. Right under the top lip on one side there is a 5/8-inch chip. Which you can see in one of the photos. My first reaction is that this is a Dorfflinger Glass piece. I have seen the cut step design in a museum of glass and Dorflinger is the predominant maker. However. It could be Averbeck Glass, a company that also produced the cut step design. The top, made of metal, has a ding but it does not prohibit from putting in a candle(see picture) There are some small chips on the inside edge of the base. There are no chips on the outside edge and all the cut teeth are all there. This is a very unusual piece and I don't think I will ever have another one to list. I am going to research these more because I do not see a stamp or any clue to describe them except that below the mans head is 1886. the only event I can think of in 1886 was the Statue of Liberty. Antique Girandoles-15 1/2 in.Pair-14 Crystal Prisms-Flower Basket-Marble Base
I'm selling this antique pair of girandoles. With a basket of flowers design on a white marble base. Each has 7 long 2-part crystal prisms, and these prisms have a scrolling floral design cut into them. The pair are approx 15 1/2 inches tall, and are in good overall condition for their age. The metal has most of the gold finish intact, with spots of wear here and there. The top parts that hold the candles have a few larger areas of gold loss, mostly to the inner side where a candle would cover it anyway. The girandoles consist of several separate parts that screw together, they then screw into the case, with all parts having a good fit. There are some spots of old wax here and there, but I removed most of it. The prisms have fleabites.they usually do because the prisms'clink' together. Which sounds very nice and musical, but is ... morehard on the crystals. About half have larger chips, again, not unusual, and because of the fancy design, they don't stand out the way they might have. Still, these are lovely old crystals of the type you don't find easily these days. Each hangs approx 6 inches, and are 2-part, with a square'top' and the longer rectangular bottom. There should have been 16 all together, but over the years 2 have gone missing. With the space in back, their absence is not really noticeable. Still, it might be an issue if you want to replace them, as I don't think it would be easy to find 2 that match, so keep that in mind. These are from the mid to late 1800's. And have some slight mis-bends in the metal, nothing bad, noticed mostly on the'stem' of one that leans slightly.It could probably be eased back to straight, but not necessary, as it doesn't detract from the appearance. I'd leave it alone, some imperfections are expected with old pieces. They display beautifully. All shipping costs are included. So what you bid is what you pay. Thanks for looking!

Up for bidding is this Estate sale find of 2 stunning Vintage Victorian? Fine glass Candlelabras 12" high. There is a beautiful gold detail design on the globe and base. The base measures 6 1/2" and top globe piece measures 5 1/2" There are 6 silver loops on each base to put prisms on them but they are not included. There is a flea bite on one of the top globe part that sits on the base so when the they are put together you cannot see it. Truly Incredible c1880 multi-colored blown glass Candlestick! Up for auction with NO RESERVE is a Very Rare Victorian Period Venetian Art Glass Candlestick. The Candlestick is very exceptional and I am sure is a very rare find indeed. The Candlestick is made of various colors of glass. The arms and holders are a pink spotted with green rims. The base is clear and the top has green leaves with a large bunch of purple grapes on the very top. The bottom is composed of green leaves but unfortunately were broken and reglued as well as two staples were added. The Candlestick is very impressive in real life and display beautifully measuring approx 15" tall to the top of the Grapes by 9 1/2" wide. VINTAGE PAIR OF GLASS CANDELABRA CANDLESTICKS 4 CANDLES WITH 5 PRISMS EACH
Listed is a pair of glass candelabra candlesticks. Each one has 4 glass candle cups with scalloped edge glass bobeche's with 5 glass prisms on each one. They stand 15-1/2" tall and 10" across and 8" deep from the third arm. Each bobeche is 4" across and has 5-3 piece. 3" prisms hanging from them and the bobeche's are removable. One of the candelabra's has a arm that has come unglued from age and the glass 1" candle holder broke, but is a clean break and I do have the piece that broke off. I do believe that these were two side arm candelabra's that were made to add one or two more arms from the flat spot on each side that you can see in picture 9. I have not tried to clean the candle wax or candle burn off the glass candle holders. All prisms are there, even for the arm that has come off. I realized ... morewhile packing pieces that the bobeche that was on the arm that let loose has a crack, but has not separated and is not very noticeable. Part of the extensive collection of candlesticks that my parents amassed during their 25 years living in London.My mother displayed these on glass shelves in the bathroom window so the sunlight refracted off of all the candlesticks and danced around the room. Antique Victorian Bohemian? Czech? Glass Candlestick Applied Serpent & Teardrop
Welcome to my auction! For your consideration: Offering this antique Victorian era blown art glass candlestick candle holder. Estate item presented as"early art glass" In excellent condition with no chips and little. If any, wear and signs of use. However. There are two tiny rough areas on the rim of the cup. The areas measure approx. 1mm by 1mm each and I'm pretty sure they're from the making. One area definitely has a tiny clump of sand just barely protruding past the flush of the rim. These could be bruises or scuffs but I don't think so. Both areas have almost micro puckers and straw lines which extend from the tiny rough spots. Please see the image of the larger clump of sand embedded in the surface of the neck of the vase. I believe what I'm barely seeing with a loop is the same type imperfection. There are ... morea few more tiny puckers scattered about on the surface of the entire piece well. All from the making. I believe this is very old glass. Please see the images and use your own judgement. The joining/fusing?of the clear cased blue glass top to the clear stick is a little off center. There is a small irregular shaped blob of coral pink glass trapped within the emerald base beneath the pontil. Unusual-end of day piece? The blue is an aquamarine-turquoise color at the flared rim to a dark cobalt blue at the end. There is one tiny teardrop shaped controlled bubble within the clear glass stem at the very tip of the cased blue glass. The applied serpent snake is a light emerald green and the base is a darker emerald green glass. There are tiny tiny bubbles scattered throughout the entire piece. Especially the base. There are several larger bubbles in the emerald glass base and one tiny popped surface bubble on the very bottom, doesn't show, barely felt, from the making. The pontil is smooth.
