It dates from the 1880’s-1890’s and is decorated in an Aesthetic Movement style. The center of the tray has a scene depicting a large tropical seashell and a bird in flight. The bird looks like a duck to my eye, but may be some other type of bird. This tray has a diameter of 9 5/8” 24.5 cm) and stands 7/8” 2.3 cm) high at the gallery rim. The cherub is riding a large turtle. The design is both exceptional and beautiful. An extremely interesting piece. It is marked as made by Pairpoint Mfg. Company. New Bedford, MA. It has the production/pattern/patent number 1933. Overall this figural toothpick holder is in excellent condition. It has a nice darkish patina. The silverplate is in excellent condition. There is no pitting, and there are no broken bits, or repairs. When it was originally made it would have had reins(silver or copper wire) from the cherubs hand to the turtles mouth. A silversmith could easily add this for less than $50, but I did not want to interfere with this piece and leave it to the buyer to decide. This is a very rare and desirable collectable American figural. The last time I saw one on ebay(maybe last year) it sold for $950. And I can't remember if it had the reins. Up for your consideration is this nice old antique uadruple silverplate bowl? cup? urn? creamer? made by Pairpoint Mfg. Co. This piece has the number 1926 stamped on the bottom. There is also the manufacturers silver makers marking on the bottom as well. This has a handle on both sides with what appears to be two leaves on each side. This is in wonderful condition! This measures 3-1/2" from handle to handle and has a diameter at the top of 2" and stands 2-1/4" high. I am sure this is one beautiful piece when cleaned with silver polish. This is a Pairpoint silverplate basket. It is stamped"Pairpoint Mf'g Co. Quadruple Plate, B 1206 with the company logo. It is 10 3/4 inches long. 8 1/4 inches wide and about 3 1/2 inches tall not including the handle. With handle. It is about 8 inches tall. Weight is about 1 lb. 6 ounces. There is a split on one end in the beading of the rim(shown in the third and fifth scan) I did not try to repair this damage. Some of the plating is worn and this needs a good cleaning. It still is a very nice functional or decorative piece.

Welcome To My Auction* Up for your bidding consideration is this recent estate sale find. It is an Antique Victorian era Silverplate Cherub-Angel Boy Figural Napkin Ring. It has beautiful etchings on the sides with flowers and dragonflies. It is not engraved with any family initials or crest. This napkin ring is unsigned as to a maker's mark( or possibly it has faded as I can not find it) but I do see numbers so possibly this can assist you in knowing the maker. On the outer part of the ring are the numbers 0221 Maker's from that era are Pairpoint. Meriden, Rancine, Reed and Barton, ect. This napkin ring looks very similar to the auction that ended#290853365329.they noted theirs was a Pairpoint? Feel free to look at that auction for your own decision. Silverplate Napkin Rings are identified in a book that regretfully I do not own. ... morePossibly if an EBAY bidder knows the maker by the numbers I have given they can e-mail me to allow me to update any added information. The Napkin Ring measures 2" inches tall to the top of the Cherub's head and is almost 1 1/2" inches wide. The opening for the napkin to be placed is about 1 1/2" inches. The napkin ring is in good pre-owned condition with usage wear. Scratches, some plating loss and some dis-colorization. It also shows some minute markings where someone must have been testing to see if it had any silver content. It looks as it could use a good cleaning to make it shine. I believe this barking dog napkin holder is made by Pairpoint.the paw is marked with the number 62.I cannot find the"diamond P" mark. Most Pairpoint are silverplate.I can not confirm whether this item is silverplate or not. This holder is approximately 3-inches tall x 3 1/4-inches long x 1 3/4-inches wide. Altho this is in nice condition. The ring is out of round.there are a few white spots, at the corner of the mouth and a tiny speck on the side, etc.I'm not sure what these are, but possibly the plating has been compromised. This item is previously owned and in used condition so under magnification may exhibit small scratches or tiny dents from wear. I did not clean this item, so it is rather dark. This outstanding lemonade or water pitcher was made by Pairpoint Silver Co.and is hallmarked on the bottom. Pairpoint Silver was established in 1880 and is known as one of America's premier early silversmiths. Pairpoint was one of the first silversmiths to recognize silver as a art medium. He served his apprenticeship in Pairs and was chief designer for Gorham from 1868-1870's This beautiful pitcher has a rich deep luster and makes a lovely display. There is some silverplate loss as well as a couple of dents. However, the design of grapes. Grapevines and leaves. As well as scrolls and flowers. Is quite lovely and representative of this Victorian piece, circa 1880's. Re-plating would surely take away from the"character" of this pitcher with it's artistic motifs. Here for your bidding is a beautiful Pink ruffled bowl set on a super Pairpoint frame.I have never seen a frame in such nice condition. Or with large Berries and leaf. The frame stands 10½" tall and 8½" at the wide space between handles. the base is 4" across with a 2 7/8" open area. The bowl is 9" at the widest area and 7" where the bowl is crimped up allowing a perfect presentation. The bowl is White at the bottom and gradually turns Pink the closer to the rim. I find no Chips or Cracks to this lovely bowl. No damage to the frame. I would like to believe it looks as good as the day it left the store. It may look better with what 100 years have done for it. This is a beautiful Silver Plated Brides Basket/ Fruit Basket. There is an impressed stamp on the bottom which reads: Pairpoint Mfg. Co. New Bedford, Mass, Quadruple Plate, Pat. Jan. 31, 1893 and number 1249. This item is 120 years old. A lot of embossing on this basket. Looks like a branch with apples on the inside bottom which are raised on the inside and punched in on the underneath. Branches, leaves and apples make up the handle which is hinged. 4 feet on which to stand with a gallery above the feet. Looks like the four corners which are indented in have an engraved design on them. This Basket is in excellent condition showing no wear on the silver. It looks like it was not cleaned ... morefor some time as it is tarnished and the pictures will probably show up dark on the computer. I am leaving it as it is for the new owners to clean themselves. It measures 10 1/4 inches long, 8 1/2 inches wide and stands 3 inches high, 8 inches high with the handle up. Beautifully decorated quadruple plate covered butter dish made by Pairpoint of New Bedford. Mass. founded in the 1880's. The decoration is typical of the aesthetic period with bamboo and flowers, very well done. The dish has two handles and a place to hold a butter knife and an interior plate. This is a recent estate sale find and is being sold as found. The interior butter plate shows wear and the piece could use a bit of polishing but is in overall nice condition. Most of the Pairpoint butter dishes similar to this are not quite as heavily decorated, nice piece for collectors. Measures 6 1/2" tall by 9" wide approximately. Offered is this remarkable silver plated fruit basket or footed bowl made in New Bedford. Massachusetts, by Pairpoint. The patent date is Jan. 31, 1893. The piece is numbered 1249. This rectangular footed basket has a movable handle that has a design of apples with foliage and stems. The center of the basket also features an apple branch with apples and leaves. The rim of the bowl is fluted with the corners folded up. A chased design appears on the outside of the four corners of the basket. A pierced border encircles the bottom of the basket. The feet featuresflowers with a ribbon or banner. This piece measures 9.75 inches long(25 cm) and 8.25 inches wide(21 cm) It stands 8 inches high(20.4 cm) with the handle extended upward and 2.5 inches high(6.4 cm) from the table top to the rim of the basket. For your consideration. This amazing porcelain lined,quadruple plated Silverplated pitcher by Pairpoint. Very ornate, and was the top of the line in it's day. Porcelain has some staining commensurate with age, but no nicks, chips, or cracks noted. Silverplate needs a good cleaning, and there are is no obvious loss of plating or dents. There is a slight flattened area on the bottom left side of the base of the pitcher, please see last photo. If you have any questions, please ask, and we will do our best to answer. Here is an elaborate art nouveau candlelabra complete with 5 removable inserts and a fennial to top it off. And to make the total height 19 1/2" It is removable so you can add the 5th candle. The bottom has the Pairpoint trademark, Pat. date of Feb. 23, 1904#6157. The arm span is 15 1/2" I cleaned it but it could use some fine polishing. It is in fantastic condition. Vintage PAIRPOINT C1510 Lion Head & Paw, Seeded Glass Vase, Enameled Flowers
Offered for your consideration is a VINTAGE BLOWN GLASS URN OR VASE circa 1900-1 930 measuring 5 1/2" tall with a 3 3/4"diameter white Cararea marble base. The glass is supported by three PAIRPOINT brass lion heads and paws. One of the lions legs underside is stamped with PAIRPOINT and NUMBER C1510. I had to remove the brass from the marble base to find the name and number on the underside of the leg(see the photo# 10) This piece has a seeded glass urn/vase shape that is trimmed with silver. Also. The vase has three hand painted enamel flowers, each a different flower and each a different color. A very unusual piece and very beautiful. Only a small nick in the marble as seen in photo# 9.
