Amazing pair of OLD crystal sconces that were here when I bought my condo 12 years ago. Pair is the operative word. Really one and a half. The previous owners had very high-end antiques and left these on the wall. 27" tall x 16" wide. These are hard to capture in photos. No doubt these were very upscale in their day. There are various broken areas. I am not even sure I put the"good" display one together correctly, but I think it is. These have been sitting in the closet for years so I finally thought why not give a fun project to some Ebayer! Perhaps these are best parted-out. But seems like a waste for them to just be in a box. This auction is for a pair of candlesticks that each hold two candles. ... moreMade of cut crystal and ormolu or dore, in other words, gold over bronze. These are quite decorative with a clear theme of birds; one on top of each one in the center, perched on the faceted crystal ball, and the supports for the candle cups look like long necks and bird heads. The bases are made of metal with paw feet but the stem is made of crystal. We couldn't find another pair like this one, not even half a pair. These are quite heavy for their size, about 13 or 14 ounces each, and each one stand approx. 9" tall and 5.5" wide, 3.5" deep. They show signs of a long life, chips on the crystal, including the missing corner on one of the two at the base, and multiple smaller chips elsewhere. There is also an overflow of something visible at the top of the crystal post on one of them that could indicate a repair. Despite these scars, the candlesticks are still beautiful and decorative. The holidays are right around the corner; wouldn't these be a great addition to your well dressed Thanksgiving table to hold your candles? Antique Crystal Candlesticks 8 1/2"
These candlesticks have a lot of detail. Snd stand 8 1/2" tall. They belonged to my mother for at least 45+ years, and beyond that I cannot be certain. I don't know if they were new or from an antique store when she acquired them. The candle"well" is approx 1 1/2" deep, making these nice for accomodating both regular and large tapers. There are patterns of impressions in the glass, as well as delicately etched flowers and leaves. There are no blemishes, or chips on either candlestick. Antique Girandoles-15 1/2 in.Pair-14 Crystal Prisms-Flower Basket-Marble Base
I'm selling this antique pair of girandoles. With a basket of flowers design on a white marble base. Each has 7 long 2-part crystal prisms, and these prisms have a scrolling floral design cut into them. The pair are approx 15 1/2 inches tall, and are in good overall condition for their age. The metal has most of the gold finish intact, with spots of wear here and there. The top parts that hold the candles have a few larger areas of gold loss, mostly to the inner side where a candle would cover it anyway. The girandoles consist of several separate parts that screw together, they then screw into the case, with all parts having a good fit. There are some spots of old wax here and there, but I removed most of it. The prisms have fleabites.they usually do because the prisms'clink' together. Which sounds very nice and musical, but is ... morehard on the crystals. About half have larger chips, again, not unusual, and because of the fancy design, they don't stand out the way they might have. Still, these are lovely old crystals of the type you don't find easily these days. Each hangs approx 6 inches, and are 2-part, with a square'top' and the longer rectangular bottom. There should have been 16 all together, but over the years 2 have gone missing. With the space in back, their absence is not really noticeable. Still, it might be an issue if you want to replace them, as I don't think it would be easy to find 2 that match, so keep that in mind. These are from the mid to late 1800's. And have some slight mis-bends in the metal, nothing bad, noticed mostly on the'stem' of one that leans slightly.It could probably be eased back to straight, but not necessary, as it doesn't detract from the appearance. I'd leave it alone, some imperfections are expected with old pieces. They display beautifully. All shipping costs are included. So what you bid is what you pay. Thanks for looking!

FABULOUS PAIR Antique Cut Crystal Prism Candlesticks Chandelier Candelabras One of these is broken at the base and while it displays well. It would need to be repaired before you would light candles in it. See the fourth to last photo. Each of the six bobeche pieces at the base of where the candle would sit has ten prisms(when all are present) There are four prisms missing and two prisms have missing lower teardrop hanging pieces. Some of the other prisms have chips and dings. They are unusual prisms in that they are faceted at the bottom. LOVELY. This set needs a good cleaning.I'll leave that to the buyers. antique crystal tall candlestick lamp with 9 inch prisms teardrop open base
this is all that there was packed in carton from estate. the glass is very heavy. the candle cup has a cut design all way around and on top edge. the 2nd section down has sun color as does the bobeche a little bid. the prisms are about 8 inch and the longer ones 9 inch. the base is about 16 inch alone I do not know what else went with this at one time but the estate used it as it is the parts all screw together heavy the base glass is about 1/2 inch thick. there are a number of little flea bite specks on top of the base must have been from dropping prisms over the years still a super and unusual piece for the right spot.

Antique Brass & Crystal Girandole 3 Arm Candelabra -Soldier Senic Base
Up for bids is a Beautiful Antique Brass& Crystal 3 Arm Candelabra. The candelabra depicts a Civil War or American Revolution Period. It has a peg leg Soldier with a child. Both holding rifles. The marble base shows discoloration with a few white spots. I don't know for sure this is chips out of the marble or due to age. The crystal prisms do have chips on them. There were that way when I purchased this piece. I bought it from an estate sale in Historic Canton, Ms. The prisms on the left& right are 5" long and the ones in the center are 6" long.
