Rare and exquisite antique pair of mercury glass candlesticks. This pair was crafted ca.1850 and are still in wonderful condition with traces of a floral motif still visible. They can also be used as bud vases. The glass was individually blown with double walls(at the bottom you can see where the mold-blow pipe was attached) Silvered"mercury" glass is considered one of the first true"art glass" types. You are viewing a great piece of EAPG in RARE FINE CONDITION. This pair of Victorian clear pressed glass candlesticks is from my grandmother. Who used them in the early 1900's. They are 9" tall and 5" in diameter at the bottom. The stems are solid. And there is a raised arch base. They are classic in style and very heavy-three pounds before packing. They are unmarked. As most pieces were, and are probably Boston Sandwich glass or possibly Pittsburgh flint glass. They are in FINE condition-with no chips. Cracks, repairs or any other damages that I can feel or see. It is unusual to find a pair like this in such wonderful condition. I am 74 and having to downsize and part with many family treasures. Shipping will be by weight and distance. PATTERN NAME: I have seen one of these named the"Thistle" pattern. But I have not been able to confirm this. ITEM/ SHAPE: Candlesticks. MATERIAL: Flint Glass AGE: c.1850's BLACK LIGHT TEST RESULT: Fluoresces a lime green color. GLASS COLOR: Clear. MEASUREMENTS: 9 3/4" high and 5" diameter across the base. WEIGHT: 3 lbs. 12 oz. Antique NEW ENGLAND SANDWICH GLASS CANDLESTICK. C. 1830 Square Molded Base w Blown Glass Candle Socket This is a good antique New England Sandwich Glass candlestick. Circa 1830, or so. Candlestick is 6 1/4" high with a 3 1/8" square base, and it has a typical Sandwich style square molded base common to whale oil lamps, and the candle socket and drip rims were blown by hand with the glass wafer in the middle to cement it all together. Condition is very good with just one minute flake on the rim(see last photo) which could be polished away easily, if desired. The whale oil lamps are fairly common, but the candlesticks are quite rare both from having less of them made, and also because they suffered more breakage than the lamps. This was found in New England. Beautiful Antique Pair Pale Purple Glass CANDLESTICKS *8 1/2" tall*
FOR SALE IS A PAIR OF ANTIQUE TURN-OF THE-CENTURY PALE PURPLE GLASS CANDLESTICKS. I purchased these candlesticks originally in 1988 at an estate action in Ohio. They are late Victorian or turn-of-the-century era glass with tiny blubbles throughout. I was never able to identify them correctly. But they are clear with a light purple to the glass. I have seen light purple referred to as pale amythyst and sun purple, and I am not sure if they are the same or two different things. If different, I am not sure which these are, but they definately have a purple tint. SIZE: 8 1/2" tall X 3 15/16" wide(base) Each candlestick. CONDITION: Excellent condition. No chips. Cracks, discoloration or imperfections. Tiny air bubbles throughout glass.

Antique Crystal Candlesticks 8 1/2"
These candlesticks have a lot of detail. Snd stand 8 1/2" tall. They belonged to my mother for at least 45+ years, and beyond that I cannot be certain. I don't know if they were new or from an antique store when she acquired them. The candle"well" is approx 1 1/2" deep, making these nice for accomodating both regular and large tapers. There are patterns of impressions in the glass, as well as delicately etched flowers and leaves. There are no blemishes, or chips on either candlestick. They have spent most of their time, behind glass, in a china cabinet. For further details, feel free to ask. Thank for looking.

Antique Silver and Glass candlesticks- Wagner
Offered here is a very beautiful and unusual pair of antique silver and pink cut glass candlesticks. 9-3/4" tall with a Sterling silver base of 3-1/4" diameter. Bases have the J. Wagner mark along with"2012" Sterling silver holders sit atop very delicate. Floral pattern carved pink glass stems. The dissimilar type of materials make for a beautiful visual counterpoint. When lit, the candle seems suspended between the two silver elements. One of the sticks appears to have been repaired at the base as there is evidence of some glue. I can't say if the glass is broken or if the stem is just glued back into the base. Either way. The stem has a noticeable tilt yet it almost certainly can be straightened. Black cast iron tops& handles with ornate floral/leaf detail, and(4 each) bird of prey" clawed feet. Each candle holder measures approx. 5 and 3/4" high by about 5" across from the handle to the tip of the claw foot. I attempted to research an approx. age for these pieces, and I was able to find very similar candle holders dated to between 1850-1900. Their overall condition is very good. They have some minor wear spots to the black cast iron, some tiny manufacturing flaws, and some rust on the inside, which I have tried to highlight in a photo. Presented for auction is a pair of estate vintage art deco style heavy lead crystal candlesticks. They are octagonal in design with sweeping lines refracting light beautifully. They would be an elegant addition to any table. There are no chips. Scratches or other flaws and are in excellent, like-new condition. Each candlestick is 5-1/2 inches high with a 3-1/4” diameter base; the top is 2-7/8” in diameter. They have a concave 3-1/4” base which also reflects light beautifully and a recessed 3/4” holder for a taper candle. They are heavy lead crystal weighing 1 lb. 5-3/4 oz each. Antique Cut Glass Candelabra 2 Light Epergne Regency Style Metal Arms
Antique Cut Glass Two Light Regency Style Candelabra Epergne We are very pleased to offer a truly beautiful antique cut glass candelabra epergne. The 2-light piece is truly gorgeous with metal arms that extend from a central base and support two bobeches with candle cups. The central top piece serves as a flower vase and is also has a cut design as well. The cut glass prisms cascade from the rim of the vase down to the bobeches on both sides growing smaller in size as they reach the ends. We believe this piece may be around the 1920's but it may considerably older. We simply are not sure. The candle cups are fitted onto plastered corks that are embedded onto metal screws. I am not sure if this is standard construction or it was a repair, as I have not seen it before. The candelabra measures 15" tall and 12" wide from the edge ... moreof one bobeche to the other. The base measures 4 3/8" square. Given our uncertainty on age we have offered this item at a very reasonable opening bid and feel our Ebay buyers will set the final value. Condition: Overall good condition but does have a few minor issues. The left bobeche has a very small chip in one tooth and the right bobeche turns freely as it may simply need to be tightened. The central vase has some interior scratches towards the bottom half due to use and the bottom square base has some scratches. Mostly underneath, where it contacted a table surface as well as a very small chip on one corner. Two large prisms off the bobeche has been replaced and one is missing. There is a small flake on one dangle, a rough edge on one, and an inclusion in the edge of a smaller, round prism near the top(I have included pictures) There may be another fleabite or two I have missed but I checked the piece as closely as possible. I found it in a box with Antique Silver plated Candle sticks from Denmark. I'm not sure where these are from since there are no markings. It was wrapped in old brown paper. A beautiful matched pair of mantle lustres(only one is pictured. But this auction is for TWO) Extra large! They stand 14 inches tall and measure almost 8 inches in diameter across the tops. The crystal prisms in two alternating styles are 10 inches long! 20 strands of these extra sparkly prisms are on each lustre. Loads of gold trim. Bohemian origin, I believe.
