Please scroll down the page to see additional photographs of this item. 2 QUALITY ANTIQUE CUT GLASS CANDLESTICKS ANGLO- IRISH Presented is a great pair of antique cut crystal or glass candlesticks. The candlesticks are almost certainly Anglo-Irish in origin. They date to the 1800s. But they could be as early as the 1700s. We believe they date from the first half of the 1800s. They are certainly old. The stem has a large, tear-shaped globe at the lower end with a large tear-drop shaped control bubble blown in its center. The glass is nicely cut with various geometric designs. The candlesticks have good weight. The candlesticks are not marked. As should be expected. The candlesticks are in excellent condition. The glass has a bit of wear on the underside. Just as you would expect on pieces of this age. Both candlesticks have a few minor flakes ... moreand fleabites here and there, almost entirely along the bottom edge where the candlesticks would meet the table, but these minor flaws are not very noticeable. Otherwise, the condition is excellent. There are no cracks, no breaks, and no repairs. The candlesticks measure 4 1/2 inches in diameter at the base and 9 3/4 inches tall. This is a beautiful pair of antique etched cranberry glass hurricane shades on clear dolphin bases with 8 dangling prisms each. They measure 17" to top of cranberry hurricane. The base is a wonderful clear glass dolphin. There is a problem with one of the cranberry hurricanes: it has a l 1/2" zig zag crack coming from a small chip on base. See Photo. When the chimney is resting in the base the chip and a lot of the crack is covered. Unfortunate. But to be honest I didn't notice this flaw when purchasing at an Estate Sale. Also know as Mercury Glass(or sometimes, Varnish Glass) is double-walled glassware with a silver coating inside the walls, similar to the silvering on a vacuum flask liner. The first patent for silvered glass was taken out in 1849 by Hale Thomson and Edward Varnish in England. Shortly afterwards, in 1855, Thomas Leighton of the New England Glass Company took out a patent in America. The demand for silvered glass led to production in glass-houses in England. Germany, France, Belgium, the USA, and Bohemia, many with their own production processes. In England Edward Varnish and his partners sold silvered glass for only about ten years. They had a major display at the The Great Exhibition in the Crystal ... morePalace in 1851. The main production from about 1860 onwards came from glassworks in the Bohemian forest. Beautiful Antique Pair Pale Purple Glass CANDLESTICKS *8 1/2" tall*
FOR SALE IS A PAIR OF ANTIQUE TURN-OF THE-CENTURY PALE PURPLE GLASS CANDLESTICKS. I purchased these candlesticks originally in 1988 at an estate action in Ohio. They are late Victorian or turn-of-the-century era glass with tiny blubbles throughout. I was never able to identify them correctly. But they are clear with a light purple to the glass. I have seen light purple referred to as pale amythyst and sun purple, and I am not sure if they are the same or two different things. If different, I am not sure which these are, but they definately have a purple tint. SIZE: 8 1/2" tall X 3 15/16" wide(base) Each candlestick. CONDITION: Excellent condition. No chips. Cracks, discoloration or imperfections. Tiny air bubbles throughout glass.

Antique Crystal Candlesticks 8 1/2"
These candlesticks have a lot of detail. Snd stand 8 1/2" tall. They belonged to my mother for at least 45+ years, and beyond that I cannot be certain. I don't know if they were new or from an antique store when she acquired them. The candle"well" is approx 1 1/2" deep, making these nice for accomodating both regular and large tapers. There are patterns of impressions in the glass, as well as delicately etched flowers and leaves. There are no blemishes, or chips on either candlestick. Antique Cut Glass Candelabra 2 Light Epergne Regency Style Metal Arms
Antique Cut Glass Two Light Regency Style Candelabra Epergne We are very pleased to offer a truly beautiful antique cut glass candelabra epergne. The 2-light piece is truly gorgeous with metal arms that extend from a central base and support two bobeches with candle cups. The central top piece serves as a flower vase and is also has a cut design as well. The cut glass prisms cascade from the rim of the vase down to the bobeches on both sides growing smaller in size as they reach the ends. We believe this piece may be around the 1920's but it may considerably older. We simply are not sure. The candle cups are fitted onto plastered corks that are embedded onto metal screws. I am not sure if this is standard construction or it was a repair, as I have not seen it before. The candelabra measures 15" tall and 12" wide from the edge ... moreof one bobeche to the other. The base measures 4 3/8" square. Given our uncertainty on age we have offered this item at a very reasonable opening bid and feel our Ebay buyers will set the final value. Condition: Overall good condition but does have a few minor issues. The left bobeche has a very small chip in one tooth and the right bobeche turns freely as it may simply need to be tightened. The central vase has some interior scratches towards the bottom half due to use and the bottom square base has some scratches. Mostly underneath, where it contacted a table surface as well as a very small chip on one corner. Two large prisms off the bobeche has been replaced and one is missing. There is a small flake on one dangle, a rough edge on one, and an inclusion in the edge of a smaller, round prism near the top(I have included pictures) There may be another fleabite or two I have missed but I checked the piece as closely as possible. Antique Girandoles-15 1/2 in.Pair-14 Crystal Prisms-Flower Basket-Marble Base
I'm selling this antique pair of girandoles. With a basket of flowers design on a white marble base. Each has 7 long 2-part crystal prisms, and these prisms have a scrolling floral design cut into them. The pair are approx 15 1/2 inches tall, and are in good overall condition for their age. The metal has most of the gold finish intact, with spots of wear here and there. The top parts that hold the candles have a few larger areas of gold loss, mostly to the inner side where a candle would cover it anyway. The girandoles consist of several separate parts that screw together, they then screw into the case, with all parts having a good fit. There are some spots of old wax here and there, but I removed most of it. The prisms have fleabites.they usually do because the prisms'clink' together. Which sounds very nice and musical, but is ... morehard on the crystals. About half have larger chips, again, not unusual, and because of the fancy design, they don't stand out the way they might have. Still, these are lovely old crystals of the type you don't find easily these days. Each hangs approx 6 inches, and are 2-part, with a square'top' and the longer rectangular bottom. There should have been 16 all together, but over the years 2 have gone missing. With the space in back, their absence is not really noticeable. Still, it might be an issue if you want to replace them, as I don't think it would be easy to find 2 that match, so keep that in mind. These are from the mid to late 1800's. And have some slight mis-bends in the metal, nothing bad, noticed mostly on the'stem' of one that leans slightly.It could probably be eased back to straight, but not necessary, as it doesn't detract from the appearance. I'd leave it alone, some imperfections are expected with old pieces. They display beautifully. All shipping costs are included. So what you bid is what you pay. Thanks for looking!

2 ANTIQUE ART NOUVEAU DECO STERLING SILVER OVERLAY 8" CANDLESTICK HOLDERS
Measure approximately 4 1/4" in diameter across the base. 8" tall, with silver overlay design as you can see, which I believe is sterling silver, however, it is no marked as such. Their form matches, but if you look carefully at their overlay design, you will notice that they differ slightly, however, the difference, in my opinion, it subtle enough that they work well together. There is some light wear to the overlay on the top edge of the candle cup on one as shown, and both need polishing, which I'll leave for you to do. Otherwise in very good condition with no chips or cracks. A very pretty pair! 2 Vintage Antique Clear Glass Double Candle Stick Holder Stands.
2 vintage clear glass art deco double candle stick holders Clear base with the candle holder attached to it. There is a flower. Scallop design at the base of the candle holders. They are 5 1/2" at tallest side and 3 3/4" on the shortest side. The base is 5" around. There is a chip on the one candle holder on the bottom. Very clean and smoke free. Check out the pics.
