This is a beautiful pair of antique etched cranberry glass hurricane shades on clear dolphin bases with 8 dangling prisms each. They measure 17" to top of cranberry hurricane. The base is a wonderful clear glass dolphin. There is a problem with one of the cranberry hurricanes: it has a l 1/2" zig zag crack coming from a small chip on base. See Photo. When the chimney is resting in the base the chip and a lot of the crack is covered. Unfortunate. But to be honest I didn't notice this flaw when purchasing at an Estate Sale. The bottoms almost look like a pineapple in the way they are cut! They are in great condition with just a tiny flake on the bottom corner of each one. Each have 14 cut glass prisms which all seem to be in good shape. These are heavy for their size and they stand 11 1/2" high. A very hard to find color in cut glass! Nice pair of good quality glass candle sticks with an octagon base. Diamond shaped panels leading to the top which is octagon. The prism ring holds eight drop prisms which are 3 inches long. Prism ring is scalloped. One small chip is on the top of one prism ring(photo 6) The shades have elongated diamond pattern with a half diamond ridge on the scalloped edge. The insert holding the set together is brass. The height is 10 1/2 inches tall. Base is 3 3/4 inches. Shades are 4 inches in diameter. Votive candles can be used as well as taper candles which I have illustrated in the photos. Candles not included.

Antique Ornate Brass Candle Stick Holders The offered lot is a beautiful matching pair of ornate vintage brass candle stick holders. The stands measure 16" tall. The base is 5-1/2" wide. The second tier is 3-3/4" wide and holds 16 2-part prisms, the third tier is 2-5/8" wide and holds 12 2-part prisms, the fourth tier is 1-3/4" wide and holds 8 2-part prisms, and the top section that holds the candle is 1-3/8" wide. While each candlestick holder holds a total of 36 2-part prisms. One holder is missing one prism, and the other holder is missing two prisms. The prisms can be easily replaced. Meaning it was made on or after 1852, in 19th century) with 7 glass prisms and the figure of John the Baptist holding a cross(could be another saint) it is a very beautiful ornate item. Candle holder has seven glass crystals and brass grapes surrounding the candle base.This is very unique item. On the top of the candle holder there is a glass vase with a candle. Listed is a pair of glass candelabra candlesticks. Each one has 4 glass candle cups with scalloped edge glass bobeche's with 5 glass prisms on each one. They stand 15-1/2" tall and 10" across and 8" deep from the third arm. Each bobeche is 4" across and has 5-3 piece. 3" prisms hanging from them and the bobeche's are removable. One of the candelabra's has a arm that has come unglued from age and the glass 1" candle holder broke, but is a clean break and I do have the piece that broke off. I do believe that these were two side arm candelabra's that were made to add one or two more arms from the flat spot on each side that you can see in picture 9. I have not tried to clean the candle wax or candle burn off the glass candle holders. All prisms are there, even for the arm that has come off. I realized ... morewhile packing pieces that the bobeche that was on the arm that let loose has a crack, but has not separated and is not very noticeable. Tall Antique Vintage Clear Glass Candlestick Girondole with Prisms
Selling is a large antique glass girondole candlestick. The candlestick measures 18 1/2" tall and the base measures 5 1/4" square. The candlestick features a square glass platform that 12 prisms can hang from. The prisms included have a 1" square prism and from it hangs a long beveled glass prism measuring 5 3/4" This candlestick comes with 11 of the squares. It also has 7 of the long prisms that do have a few small nicks. There are 3 long prisms that have more damage. The candlestick can be used without the square platform or with different prisms. The candlestick itself is in good condition with no chips or cracks and only minor surface wear. We are selling a collection of old paperweights this week. A couple large ones. Two Antique Clear Crystal Glass Candlestick Holders w/Dangling Tear Drop Prisms These are from the Estate of my Mother-In-Law and have been kept in a smoke-free environment. The age of the candlestick holders is not certain but they were passed on to my Mother-In-Law from her Mother who passed away in 1985 at the age of 85. Both candlesticks have a topper and a base. The larger candlestick holder measures approximately 8" tall with the base 4-1/2" and the diameter of the topper 3" There are 6 dangling tear drops. The smaller candlestick holder measures approximately 4-3/4" tall with the base 1-3/4" and the topper 5" There are 8 dangling teardrops.
