They date from between 1840 and 1864. They were my Great Great Grandmother’s. Passed down through the family to me. I only part with them because no one else wanted them and I do not like them. I had an expert on New England glassware look at them and they are confirmed original Boston& Sandwich candlesticks. As per all vaseline glass, they do glow under a black light, demonstrated by the expert. Mold ... moreblown(they have the pontil mark on the bottom) Very thick and heavy-weight. This pair of candlesticks is very early, proved by a few dark imperfections(tiny chunks of leftover glass from the mold that made their way into the candlestick glass) the many straw marks and striations throughout the candlestick along with bubbles throughout.
