Please scroll down the page to see additional photographs of this item. 2 QUALITY ANTIQUE CUT GLASS CANDLESTICKS ANGLO- IRISH Presented is a great pair of antique cut crystal or glass candlesticks. The candlesticks are almost certainly Anglo-Irish in origin. They date to the 1800s. But they could be as early as the 1700s. We believe they date from the first half of the 1800s. They are certainly old. The stem has a large, tear-shaped globe at the lower end with a large tear-drop shaped control bubble blown in its center. The glass is nicely cut with various geometric designs. The candlesticks have good weight. The candlesticks are not marked. As should be expected. The candlesticks are in excellent condition. The glass has a bit of wear on the underside. Just as you would expect on pieces of this age. Both candlesticks have a few minor flakes ... moreand fleabites here and there, almost entirely along the bottom edge where the candlesticks would meet the table, but these minor flaws are not very noticeable. Otherwise, the condition is excellent. There are no cracks, no breaks, and no repairs. The candlesticks measure 4 1/2 inches in diameter at the base and 9 3/4 inches tall. Pair of early antique figural pressed and cut glass candlesticks 19th
This is a pair of early pressed and cut glass figural candlesticks. There is a woman carrying a bucket and a man carrying a basket. The woman candlestick is 9 ½ inches high and the bottom is 4 3/8 inches in diameter. The man candlestick is 9 ¾ inches high and the bottom is 4 9/16 inches in diameter. The edges of the bottom of the candlesticks are cut. The figures are dressed in colonial dress. The cups are threaded so that something else may be attached. The candlesticks are unmarked. We believe they are American and date to the mid 19 th century. They are quite heavy weighing 7 lbs. The lady candlestick is heavier than the man. The woman candlestick has a frit on the cup at the top and on her left elbow. There is no other damage.

1 pair of Cut Glass Candleholders approximately 5" tall by 3 1/2" wide. These were purchased in the 1960's from a local jeweler. Not sure if they were purchased new or used. The person who owned these candlesticks collected American Art Glass. My assumption is that these are American made, there aren't any markings on the bottom- not 100% sure on the country of origin. I am not sure who made these beautiful candleholders. Im leaning towards US Glass maybe Tiffin or one of the elegant companies like Fostoria# 128 or Cambridge. The floral cut etching goes down all 4 sides and on the bottom of the base as shown. Each stands approx. 7 5/8" tall, about 2 3/8" across top, about 3 3/4" wide base. You are bidding on: An antique pair of English Cut Pressed Hobnail Candlesticks Very rare to find tall ones to begin with and pairs of the pressed glass ones are very unusual. Nice clean seam from the mold/press. Easy to find column style candles to fit. Very elegant and creates a romantic setting when the occasion arises. Part of the extensive collection of candlesticks that my parents amassed during their 25 years living in London. My mother displayed these on glass shelves in the bathroom window so the sunlight refracted off of all the candlesticks and danced around the room. In a collection they make quite a statement. Professional packing and great prices. Offered is a pair of ABP cut glass candlesticks. These are a large size measuring over 12 inches tall. One is severly damage at the bowl. It has a rounded crack running from the top and one section of the bowl may have broken and reglued back in. The second candlestick has only one small clamshell chip on one of the star cuts under the base. Both have normal wear under the base. These are attributed to Meriden in Swan's American Cut and Engraved Glass Page 234. These have lovely clear bright blanks. The are six-sided with notched cuttings in between each panel. The bowls are cut in the same manner. Air ... moretrap stems. Each candlestick weighs 3.5 pounds. So this is a very heavy set. They have been successfully blacklight tested. Pair Antique English Georgian Regency Cut Glass Girandole Candlesticks 1790 1815
Here's a super pair of antique English late Georgian or early Regency cut clear glass girandole candlesticks. C. 1790- 1815. They are about 6 3/4" tall. Each has 10 cut glass prisms, a round base or foot that's been cut on the bottom, a hollow cut and faceted stem, several glass buttons, another hollow cut and faceted candle cup section, topped with an elaborately cut(very similar in style to the Pittsburgh Strawberry and Diamond pattern) bobeche that holds the 10 prisms. Prisms could be old replacements. Overall excellent condition though there are some small various chips to the top rims of the bobeches, but because of their elaborate shape and cutting you almost can't notice the chips or damage unless you look really, really close. Prisms also have some chips as you'd expect.

Vintage Antique Square Cut Notched Engraved Glass Candlesticks DESCRIPTION: What a beautiful pair of vintage maybe antique cut glass candlesticks for you today. These candlesticks have a wonderful engraved notched cut edges on all four sides diagonal cuts on the neck and lower part above the base and star burst cut base. The square top and foot are polished. I black light tested the pair and they turned light yellow in color if that means anything important. I don't have a clue who made these they are unsigned. There are a few tiny air bubbles in the glass. There are a few hard to see flea bites on the cut edges on the bases. No cracks or repairs. Rare Dorflinger Twisted Cut Glass & Sterling Candlesticks w/ Bobeches
Here are a fabulous and rare pair of cut glass candlesticks in an all over cut design with fancy cut bobeches and sterling silver holders and fittings. These came out of an incredible Machester-by-the-Sea. Ma. estate and measure 11 1/2" tall x 4 3/4" wide at the base. I cannot find a signature but the quality is that of Dorflinger Glass Co. or Thomas Webb. The columns of the sticks have a spiral shaft with different cuttings which are quite rare and difficult to produce. The candle holders and the top fittings are marked sterling and each candlestick has a polished pontil. The bobeches are removable by unscrewing the top of the cut glass holder. These unique candlesticks are the best quality cut glass I've had the opportunity of owning. I believe they are one of a kind. The estimate on these candlesticks are $1800-2500.00.
