One is engraved with the number‘3’ and the other with the number‘4’ so they were most likely part of a larger set. Both are very clearly hallmarked for Sheffield 1945 with the maker’s mark of Henry Wilkinson. They are presented in an exquisite tubular case with brown leatherette covering, purple silk lining to the lid and purple velvet to the base. The retailer’s stamp is in the lid for Thomas Kirk& Co. of Hull. The rings are in excellent condition with no dents. Dints or deep scratches that I can find. Please be aware that they are 68 years old so there will be tiny surface abrasions caused through use and cleaning. The case is also in excellent condition with no scuffs, rips or marks to the outside or linings, and all are rich in colour. The clasp& locking mechanism work perfectly. The second tier is 3-3/4" wide and holds 16 2-part prisms, the third tier is 2-5/8" wide and holds 12 2-part prisms, the fourth tier is 1-3/4" wide and holds 8 2-part prisms, and the top section that holds the candle is 1-3/8" wide. But they came from an estate full of vintage and antique glass. There's also the possibility they were hand-blown, as each has a polished oval shaped'bump' on the bottom where you'd find a pontil. Condition on each is great-no chips, cracks or damage to be noted but for a few bubbles in the glass. They've both got a honeycomb or diamond pattern, visible mostly on the cup and elongated on the body. The glass was so bright it was hard to catch the design, but it's fairly visible in pictures 3 and 5. Each stands 8.5" high ... moreand sits on a 6-sided base that's 3 7/8" across. All the photos were taken in natural light except for the second one, where they shout NEON GREEN under a blacklight. They're actually more of a greenish yellow than the green in the pictures.hard to get the color right when they glowed as soon as I brought them outside. Beautiful old set! VINTAGE PAIR OF GLASS CANDELABRA CANDLESTICKS 4 CANDLES WITH 5 PRISMS EACH
Listed is a pair of glass candelabra candlesticks. Each one has 4 glass candle cups with scalloped edge glass bobeche's with 5 glass prisms on each one. They stand 15-1/2" tall and 10" across and 8" deep from the third arm. Each bobeche is 4" across and has 5-3 piece. 3" prisms hanging from them and the bobeche's are removable. One of the candelabra's has a arm that has come unglued from age and the glass 1" candle holder broke, but is a clean break and I do have the piece that broke off. I do believe that these were two side arm candelabra's that were made to add one or two more arms from the flat spot on each side that you can see in picture 9. I have not tried to clean the candle wax or candle burn off the glass candle holders. All prisms are there, even for the arm that has come off. I realized ... morewhile packing pieces that the bobeche that was on the arm that let loose has a crack, but has not separated and is not very noticeable. Nice clean seam from the mold/press. Easy to find column style candles to fit. Very elegant and creates a romantic setting when the occasion arises. This listing is for a vintage pair of matched Art Deco Candlesticks or Candle Holders. Made of pressed glass. They are reverse painted in a dark orange(some might lean towards reddish-orange) and each candlestick has a sailing ship with seagulls painted on both the front and back sides of the base in sterling silver with a silver band at the base. The paint is in excellent condition with no wear. The sterling ships and bottom rim have very very minor wear, with the word"sterling" There are no chips, dings or cracks. The rims are smooth, but appears slightly scalloped- an illusion of the raised vertical ribbing. For your consideration is this Pair of Vintage Milk Glass Classic Candlesticks. 6 1/2" Description: This is a pair of milk glass candlesticks. These candlesticks measure approximately 6 1/2" tall. 3 1/2" wide, and 3 1/2" deep. they have a layered-style base with a column style portion that leads to the setting for the candle. This opening measures approximately 7/8" in diameter. Condition: There appears to have been a gold trim on these candlesticks at one point. But this has mostly worn off. One of the candlesticks has more of the gold trim remaining, but it is largely gone. There is a small chip on the bottom corner of one of the bases. The milk glass has a nice color. Stunning Vintage Pair of Cut Crystal Lustres Candlesticks. These beautiful candle sticks are in pristine estate condition. All the prisms are attached& in good condition. The candlestick top has a center hole that can be used for a taper candle. Additionally, a large based candle just as easily be used. The area within the edges of the glass could hold a candle as large as 4 1/2 inches. This lip is about 1/4" deep. Please look at the attached photographs. Pair of Matching Vintage Blue Depression Glass Candlestick Candle Holders
This is a pair of matching blue Depression Glass candlesticks or candle holders in very good condition. They are approximately 3 1/4 inches tall and 5 inches in diameter at the base. The base itself is almost 1/2 inch high. There is a small chip- approximately 3/8 inch long by 1/16 wide on the top inside of the candle hole. I could not get a good picture of it. But will try again if it is needed. It would only be apparent at a close inspection. There are no other chips, cracks, or flaws other than a few original bubbles in the glass. Pair of Matching Vintage Depression Amber Glass Candlestick Candle Holders
This is a pair of matching amber Depression Glass candlesticks or candle holders in excellent condition. They are. However, not exactly the same height, as can be seen in the second picture. At first I thought I had just taken a bad picture- it was never apparent to us for the many years we have owned them- but, after measuring we find that one is 3 5/16 inches high and the other one is 3 inches high. This does prove that they are handmade! The only other thing to note is that there is a flaw on the base of one of the candlesticks, as can be seen in the 5th picture- a tiny white dot(a tiny nick?
