I took this with me to the Antiques Roadshow in Jacksonville this past Saturday. Royal Doulton Under the Greenwood Trees Robin Hood series. Silver marks EFHT(Edgar Finley and Hugh Taylor) date it to early 1900s. My research dated it to between 1914-1918. Sight bend to silver top. Really sweet and appealing pair of figural ceramic salt and pepper shakers from Napco of Japan. Probably dating to the 1940's or 50's. So beautifully modelled and painted with many attractive details. The female goat has her udder and the male goat has a lovely pair of horns. Both pieces have their original plastic stoppers and paper labels. Lovely soft matte glaze, great coloring. These are similar to the ones made by Inarco but the holes for the salt and pepper are differently located. This is a nice pair of antique salt and pepper shakers. They have a hand painted rooster pattern and a brown sponged trim. There is a foil sticker on the bottom of one but I can't read it. I believe these were made in Japan but they are not marked. No chips or cracks but needs new corks and they are heavily crazed from age and need to be soaked. I have had good success removing this type of discoloration from age by soaking in oxyclean solution or bleach and water mixture. They measure 3.25 inches tall. Features a white in color Roman/Greek type design seen on each side of shakers. Outer material appears to be similar to Wedgwood Blue- however. Lovely large shaker for sale The shaker has large holes so could be used for things like powdered sugar that so often clogs the holes after 1 use. The unsigned piece is white background with gold trim on the top and around the base. There are 3 roses around the top with green around and above them. Oriental"writing" is present but could be considered stems. Most of the area under the flowers has a tan over wash. I don't have a cork for this shaker. The shaker is 4 1/2 inches tall and 3 inches across at the fattest part. The base is 1 3/4 inches across. The top is 2 inches across.

It makes the shaker look early 19th century, even though the Wedgwood marks on the back show it is actually late 19th century. The rims of the shaker show a blue pearlware glaze, a very late use of this glaze. The base has printed Wedgwood and England marks. The shaker is 3 1/2 inches tall. For auction is a pair of antique porcelain salt& pepper shakers with delicate hand painted pink roses and green leaves and beaded gold trim. There are also gold highlights around the holes in the tops of the shakers and both have corks in the bottoms. The gold highlights are nice and bright with the exception of wear to the bands around the tops of the shakers. The hand painted floral designs are in excellent condition. The shakers are approximately 3 1/2 inches high and 2 1/4 inches in diameter at the widest point. There is wear to the gold bands around the tops of the shakers. Green leaves; six other connected flowering buds and the artist name“Luken” next to one of the buds. The top is gold with holes. Also gold trimming on the top of the base and some gold outlining on the flowers. The bottom is“stamped“Bavaria. and has a cork. The shaker measures approximately 4 1/2 inches. The 2 nd shaker upper top has pink and white roses with green brown stems lying against a blue green background. The bottom half is white. The top is gold with holes. There is a brown mark between two of the roses. It is unknown if this is an initial or some type of symbol. It blends into the colors. On the bottom of the shaker it is stamped“Bavaria. and there ... moreis a cork. The shaker measures approximately 4 1/2 inches. The 3 rd shaker is white with purple. Mauve, flowers toward the top with green leaves. There is a gold trim color towards the top that looks very old and worn. The center of the flowers are white and raised. You can feel this against your fingers. The top is white with gold type of scrolling design. The holes are bigger then the other two. This may be a hat pin holder instead of a shaker. The bottom is marked or stamped“Made in Japan. with two letters either“EE” or“GG” it is worn. The cork is worn and has paper or some type of material around it. Antique salt and pepper shakers with roosters and matching tea pot in green and creamy beige color with red roosters and red flower accents. beautiful pieces. a matching antique salt and pepper& tea pot set. the tea pot has had two repairs.one inside lid and one inside the lip of tea pot.the pot also has mild crazing through out which adds to the piece in my opinion. it is still beautiful. as shown in pictures.please look at all the pictures. the salt and pepper shakers are in very good condition. no nics or cracks or repairs.one of the corks fell through and is inside the shaker. the tea pot measures approximately 7.5 inches tall with lid on. approximately 8 inches wide from spout to handle. salt and pepper shakes are approximately 3 inches tall and 4 inches wide and are signed Japan. also something else but i can not read it. thanks ... morefor looking.paypal only and USA shipping only
