These lantern are heavy weight 950 Sterling Silver. The craftsman ship is excellent. They have been stored for years in the original wood box and I do not believe they were ever used. Each stands 3 3/4" in height on a three footed base. They are marked Sterling 950. The top unscrews as pictured for filling. There is still a label attached to the box that reads OKUBO BROTHERS Tokyo. Japan. I believe these were probably brought back from Japan i after World War II. The pair weighs between 59 and 60 grams. Deco blue orange luster black trim salt pepper shakers and toothpick boat Japan Cute little vintage earlier to mid 1900's Made in Japan blue and orange luster salt and pepper"boat" There is a central holder that I would presume had originally been for mustard but as there is no lid it would be suitable for toothpicks. Overall condition is great with no chips or cracks to make note of and only very light signs of wear. The boat measures about 8" in length and each shaker is about 2 1/4" in height. Green stove shaker has 2 holes on top Brown base and is 3 inches tall by 2 inches wide. The coal bucket or hopper is deep yellow with black coal on top with one shaker hole. It's 2 inches tall and 2" X 1.5" wide. They weigh 5 ounces combined unpacked. They are in good to very good condition with no cracks or crazing. The yellow bucket has a small chip on the bottom edge. There are no corks.

This is a vintage Japanese salt or pepper shaker. It has pretty light and dark pink rose pattern with green. It is 2-3/4" high. The bottom is unmarked but it looks like Nippon to me and it still has its cork. It is in nice shape with no chips or cracks but it does have some gold loss.

Vintage Yellow Bird Salt & Pepper Shakers with Holder - Made in Japan
Up for auction is a set of Salt and Pepper Shakers with a Holder. They are yellow with blue trim birds. T?hey are made of pottery. China or something like that? The holder is all yellow. In Photos 4 and 5 you can see the etched Made in Japan on the left side. They came with cork stoppers. One has the cork in place and the other has the cork loose inside the shaker. One of the shakers has a small chip on the base as seen in Photo 2- left bird. They are a dirty yellow and possibly would clean up more but I make it a practice to not wash antiques.

Antique clear glass salt and pepper shakers with caddy. No chips or cracks to glass. The old tops are made of something like plastic and have a few cracks in them that are small and do not interfere with screwing on the tops or the tightness of the fit of the caps. The glass caddy is nice with scalloped edges. The old pepper shaker has what looks like a pepper corn in it. Both could use a good cleaning.the caddy is approximately 5 1/2 inches long and2 1/2 inches wide by 41/4 tall. Vintage Cowboy Hat Salt & Pepper Shakers - 1941
I don't know much about this shaker set. They look like a stoneware of sorts. They are kind of dusty rose and may be fiesta blue. Nice soft colors. When I purchase them they came with the little note inside you see in photo 10. I'm not sure if that's who made them or maybe if that's who gave it to the person I purchased from, but I'm pretty sure that's probably the date 1941. They are approximately 2"7/8 x 2"3/8 x 1"1/2 high. The pink hat does have a small chip on the rim you can see in photos 6 and 7. Other than that they are in good condition. Vintage ceramic Indian Chief Salt and Pepper shakers, Native American Decor
Vintage ceramic Indian Chief salt and pepper shakers. I purchased these from an older woman who told me she acquired a collection of salt and pepper shakers from her mother-in-law. I do not believe these have ever been used. The cork stoppers are still intact. The Indians have a feather headdress that shows signs of age such as fading on the red side and a little discolored on the white side, but in overall good condition. The backs of the heads appear to have rub marks in the paint.may have happened when labels were peeled off. Very colorful and interesting pieces for your kitchen or dining room.These will definitely start some conversations around the table.

Lot of 5 Pair of Salt and Pepper shakers. First pair is wood blocks cut from a pine tree and hand crafted by F Plasman in 1960. they are in good condition. There is some writing on the bottom. Second pair is f 6 1/2" tall an have a wood grain like finish. They have plastic stoppers in the bottom and metal lids. Third pair were made in or around 1952. They were hand painted and varnished. the lids unscrew from the top. There is some writing on the bottom of these. They say made in Japan. Fourth pair is made of Ceramic They have a poem to Mother on them. They were made in Japan. Fifth pair is maid of Tin and have the words Minute Maid stamped on the top. They have been hand painted the bottom has a cork for a stopper. one of them looks like the lid was pushed up a little but you can still read.
