They're in original condition with the letters and numbers of T1-57 faintly carved into the finish on the bottom but can only be seen in certain angles with a magnifying glass. Possibly dating back to the pre Civil War days however age is unknown as no one has been able to date these. The detail on these are amazing and guaranteed to be different from all the other love bird figurines that you will find. Very unique. One measures 4" high x 4 1/2" long and the other measures 5" high x 4 1/2" long from beak to tip of tail feathers. Gold leafing showing some signs of wear from the ageing process. In my research I have seen similar figurines priced much higher at $125 on other auction sites. So buy these today at a discount before they are gone. Buying as is. A few things that make these so Rare is the Stein Style Shakers. They are hard to come by. These are dated around the 1920's due to the fact of the blue Noritake stamped emblem on the bottom. Some of these type emblems come in blue. Green, or red. The M in the middle of the wreath is for the Morimura Bros. Meaning items with the M in the middle started in the year 1916. There are also gold highlights around the holes in the tops of the shakers and both have corks in the bottoms. The gold highlights are nice and bright with the exception of wear to the bands around the tops of the shakers. The hand painted floral designs are in excellent condition. The shakers are approximately 3 1/2 inches high and 2 1/4 inches in diameter at the widest point. There is wear to the gold bands around the tops of the shakers. Up for bid ~ Estate found Antique Porcelain Salt& Pepper Shakers with Gold Leaf Painted Trim In really beautiful condition! Found with the corks in the bottom in a petrified state! I was able to chip away at them. Clean everything and added new cork bottoms! These are truly gorgeous AND usable antiques! Definitely gift-worthy! They stand 3-3/8" high and are 1-7/8" at the widest area. A really nice light sage color with gold leafing around the top and the base. The top the the shakers are a ivory color and both of them have 7 shaker holes. I do not know the vintage of these but I would guess 50's. PLEASE NOTE: I require payment within 3 days. A pair of antique porcelain Art Nouveau salt shakers. Beautifully hand painted with flowers and a gold gilt top. Measures 2" high. Both shakers are painted on all four sides. They have 9 holes at the top and no stoppers in the bottom. There are no markings; many of these types of shakers came from Bavaria. They are both in excellent condition; no chips or cracks. ANTIQUE PORCELAIN GILT DELICATE FLORAL SALT & PEPPER SHAKERS JAPAN
Up for your consideration is a beautiful pair of antique porcelain gilt floral salt& pepper shakers. These belonged to my grandmother. The motif is a delicate floral of blues and pinks on a pale yellow stripe that goes around the middle(hard to see in pictures. See picture 2) There is gold plating on the tops(with some minor use wear again see pictures) and a thin stripe of gold on the bottoms. Near the top is a stripe of spring green followed by a black intricate geometric border. These little beauties are exquisite! Very nice to excellent vintage condition with no cracks. OK. Here is a set of antique, porcelain, SALT AND PEPPER SHAKERS, in the shape of red brick chimneys. They measure 2 1/2 inches high. By 1 1/4 inches wide and 1 1/4 inches long. Each shaker has 5 holes in the top. We inherited these from mother a few years ago and know that there are salt and pepper shaker collections that these might be added to. We are not aware of when mother first got them, but suspect it was late 1930's to somewhere in the early 1950's. We expect that they were used due to everything that was owned in those years was used. Antique 1913 Bavaria Porcelain Salt and Pepper Shakers w/ Gold Dome
For Auction: This item is a wonderful pair of antique Bavaria signed Salt and Pepper Shakers. The shakers measure approx. 3 inches tall by 1 1/2 inches in diameter. The shakers are very beautiful and has a main ivory colored body with a hand-painted gold floral vine design and above that is a light pale blue color. The shakers are then topped with a soft gold dome at the holes area and is bordered by a small row of raised dots. Both shakers have their original cork stoppers. Both shakers are marked"Bavaria" in green on the bottoms. One shaker is also marked by the original owner"B.P. Steenburgh 1913" in black. Both shakers appear to have salt still contained in them in a semi-solidified clump. In excellent condition!
