ANTIQUE CERAMIC CONDIMENT WITH SALT& PEPPER SET- Cute and functional. Will cheer up the breakfast table- 5-piece set that includes S&P shakers shaped like apple slices that sit in base piece. The base piece with an area to fill with jelly(or whatever) that is about 3/4 of the size of the whole apple, a Wm. Rogers Mfg. Co. Original Rogers" silver plated spoon, and the top of the apple(which is the top) that sits over the condiment area- Bottom is marked in green ink(this is a guess) 6A/811(not sure of the 6A) Entire set in very good condition. With no chips, however, crazing is noticeable on all pieces in area- Wm. Rogers spoon does appear silver plated and has rubbed off wear on bottom of spoon bowl. Nice detailed decoration on top of spoon handle- S&P appear to have original corks. However, one cork is missing a bit of piece ... morethat sticks out of shaker- Piece appears hand painted with errant red/pink marks around the piece. One dot of red paint in bottom of"S" on salt shaker. Top of apple has some errant paint on bottom side where spoon sits. Base has a dry area which is circular aroun bottom of base. A beautiful English Porcelain/enamel Condiment set with stand from 1900c
On auction I have an Antique English Porcelain/enamel Condiment set with the silver plate stand. All the pieces are decorated with flowers in cloisonne enamel. Look at the pictures. Salt and Pepper pots are 3 1/2" tall. Mustard pot measures 1 1/3" X 2 1/2" X 1 3/4" It measures 6 3/4" tall with the stand. They are all hand marked# 368 under the glaze. Look at the pictures. There is also factory mark on the bottom but I can't read it. Look at the picture# 6. Set comes with the spoon. Measures 4" long with 800 silver mark. Bottom of the stand is a maker mark Deykin and Harrison Birmingham England. Condiment set is from 1900 Century. Overall set is very good condition for its age. DESCRIPTION. This group of listings contain items in my collection of English ceramic dinnerware pieces. Combining silverplate elements with ceramic transferware decorations. Quality is very good to excellent, dating 1900 to 1950s. They are identified in one way or another. Acquired from 2000 to 2007. A very pretty set of pale ceramic condiment vessels. Ball shape bodies witha gilded granulated edge. Silverplate lids marked EPNS, no other marks except a red B5771. They were purchased from a seller in England, who split up several matching items, such as a tray and other items. Those were marked with the WOOD& SONS hallmark. I kept that information for future use. The condition is excellent. The silver on the lids is mostly intact with very little loss or wear. These have been hand polished with a jeweler's cloth. The ceramic is decorated ... morewith a cobalt blue and gold morning glory floral design on a cream surface. There is small crazing of the surface glaze noticeable on the bottoms. As would be expected for pieces of this age, circa 1900-15. No other wear, flaws or repairs noted. The shaker's lids are stuck, I did not try very hard to remove the tops in case I damaged something. The set contains a salt shaker. A pepper shaker and a mustard/condiment container with notched lid for a small spoon. Overall weight is 276 grams. Measurements are 3.25 inches high to 3 inches high and a width of 2 inches at the widest point of the round body. As many are doing. Vintage Porcelain Condiment Set This lovely vintage condiment set has an open salt well. A pepper shaker. A mustard compartment with a slotted lid and a mustard spoon. It is hand painted with lots of tiny blue flowers and is gold trimmed. The set has a ring handle. The pepper shaker is missing it's cork. On the bottom are the numbers"68/2938" written in gold. By the way the numbers are written. I believe the set was made in Germany. It measures 4 1/2" x 4" x 2 1/2" high. This vintage condiment set is in excellent condition. There are no chips. The one thing that I'd like to mention is that I believe that originally the oil and vinegar cruets would have had matching stoppers. They are no longer with the set but corks could be used instead(or you may be able to find a pair of stoppers that would work) Salt and pepper shakers no longer have corks either but that is another easy fix. Seen above on his left side, this is not damage. An English Staffordshire vinegar pot condiment figure. Part of a set of four which I am listing, each with shiny cobalt blue jackets, naturally painted faces and hair and yellow slacks. The bottoms are painted with a simple cobalt blue line around the base; this vinegar and the salt have some flow blue qualities to the jackets and base. Especially this one, the painted line around the base is flown and the blue from the jacket bled down over the slacks, this was all done in the making and firing. This has a very very ... moreminor chip inside the footrim. Not seen outside when standing. Like all of these, they have crazing to the glaze that is mostly only seen on very close inspection. About 1910 to 1915. The young ladies' craft sweeping the country was hand-painted porcelain. This one was signed in gold with only an"F" I've had it on display with my blue milk-glass collection for years and always hoped to find four plates to form a sandwich set, but surprisingly, there aren't that many Forget-me-not pieces out there and the set was happy to complement my blue milk glass. The mustard pot is almost 2-1/2" in diameter and three inches tall to the top of the lid. The ceramic spoon intact. The salt and pepper shakers have their own precious holder with a handle. Antique Gaudy Welsh Hand Painted Condiment Set with EPNS Stand and Spoon
Selling a lovely three piece Gaudy Welsh condiment set complete with stand and one spoon. The silver-plate stand has not been cleaned. But it certainly can be polished up if you like and it would be beautiful. All silver is marked EPNS and spoon is stamped T. Turner's Encore. The porcelain is in very good condition with the exception of some decent sized chips on the bottom of the pepper, shown in last 2 photos, the mustard container also appears to be missing the metal ring that goes where porcelain meets cap. The only other flaws I found were age related paint wear. Listed for auction is this rare and unique antique double biscuit jar/ cracker jar/ tea caddy or pickle caster. The colors are creamy white decorated with cobalt blue and coral flowers. Appears to be all hand painted. Joined together by silver plated frame with articulated Antrobus handle. Which raises and lowers both lids simultaneously when pushed forward or backwards. Patent mark inside lids reads, ANTROBUS PATENT 22" There are also hallmarks on both lids and around frames as seen in photos. Makers mark on bottom is a crown with the initials"T.L.L. Overall condition is very good. Normal vintage wear on silver plate, which has original patina. I decided not to clean it but will leave that up to the buyer. Articulated handle and lids work fine. Antique Willow pattern toby condiment set Salt Pepper vinegar mustard 1830
This is a set of 4 Toby figural pieces in the blue willow pattern. These were made in the Staffordshire area and are circa 1830. All of the pieces except for the pepper shaker have yellow pants and a blue jacket. The set includes: Open salt– 5 ¼ inches tall. There is a firing crack on the bottom and a couple of chips. There is some brown on the back of the pants leg but it looks original. Vinegar– 6 inches tall including lid. There are a couple of small chips on the base. The lid has some staining and some imperfections. Jam jar– 5 ½ inches tall including lid. The top portion of the bottom by the back of the head has been broken and repaired. There is a hairline extending from the crack on the back to below the face. There is some tape residue on the lid and back of the head. There is a hairline crack on the bottom. Pepper shaker– ... more5 5/8 inches tall. It has a red jacket and the face is different. There is an opening in the back where the pepper is added. We do not have the cork stopper. This is a Vintage Japanese Takito TT Lusterware Set from the 1930's that has been carefully stored away for many years. It is a set of Puppy Salt& Pepper Shakers(cork stoppers are missing from bottom) and a 3-piece Puppy condiment jar. The tongue serves as a spoon. I did notice on the very tip of the spoon what appears to be a small chip. The Puppy face of the condiment jar had been broken and repaired years ago in 3 places(see pictures) The bottom salt& pepper set says Made in Japan. The condiment jar says Hand Paint.
