Golden yellows, browns and greens. It features scalloped edges and mottled handles with clam shells at the base of the handles. It’s accented with leafy borders, mythical figures, griffins& a cherub medallion in the center of the bowl. Maker’s Mark: It bears the overlapping letters of the trade mark GIEN. This mark was used from 1875 to 1935. Measurements: The bowl measures 13” from handle to handle and it’s 3”high. This covered pot is hand painted in yellows. Blues, greens and oranges. It measures 3 inches wide and stands 2.75 inches tall with lid. It is in excellent antique condition with an interior nibble where the glaze is missing and some glaze wear on the edges of the handle which is normal for use and age. Other than that. No chips or cracks! Add this to your daily cooking ritual as either a covered salt pot next to the stove or on the table or as a butter tub. ANTIQUE FRENCH FAIENCE FIGURAL SALT & PEPPER SHAKERS
I am offering A PAIR OF ANTIQUE FRENCH FAIENCE FIGURAL SALT& PEPPER SHAKER. On the bottom of the man(pepper shaker) reads: Made In France 1900. On the bottom of the woman reads simply: France. Condition: Good- but not perfect. The woman has a small nick on her right shoe. The man has a small nick on his left shoe and two chips on the underside of the rim of his hat. No cracks. Measurements: 2 1/2" tall X 1 1/4" wide X 1 1/4" deep. Please study my pictures carefully. I encourage you to email any questions you may have. Thanks for your interest.
