The sterling has some dents that have ... moredeveloped over time but they are in overall good condition. There are a few very small dings and blemish marks as to be expected due to age and 1 chip that you can see if you unscrew the lid. However it does not affect the functionality and cannot be seen when the lid is on the piece. They are in great condition. The second pair also features a ribbed design but is made from an early pressed glass. It also does not have a sterling top and there is some corrosion around the holes but the rest of the pieces are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. They measure 3 inches in height. Both pieces would be great for display or to add to any vintage salt and pepper shaker collection. They're decorated with hand painted, orange poppies. The tops are painted in thick, gold paint. The bottoms are signed by artist Luella Cooke. I've seen this artists' name before, not certain where, but I believe that she had painted porcelain for Limoges. These shakers come with cork stoppers. The base piece with an area to fill with jelly(or whatever) that is about 3/4 of the size of the whole apple, a Wm. Rogers Mfg. Co. Original Rogers" silver plated spoon, and the top of the apple(which is the top) that sits over the condiment area- Bottom is marked in green ink(this is a guess) 6A/811(not sure of the 6A) Entire set in very good condition. With no chips, however, crazing is noticeable on all pieces in area- Wm. Rogers spoon does appear silver plated and has rubbed off wear on bottom of spoon bowl. Nice detailed decoration on top of spoon handle- S&P appear to have original corks. However, one cork is missing a bit of piece ... morethat sticks out of shaker- Piece appears hand painted with errant red/pink marks around the piece. One dot of red paint in bottom of"S" on salt shaker. Top of apple has some errant paint on bottom side where spoon sits. Base has a dry area which is circular aroun bottom of base. This is a very unusual pair of salt and pepper shakers. One is holding the other players head and the other is holding the football without his head. They are in near perfect condition. No cracks. The tall one does have a tiny chipped paint(blue) from his pants. One on each buttocks and one on the right knee. I didn't even notice them when I was taking pictures. The helmets look like the paint has came off but if you look closer, you can see that they were painted to show the head. That kind of helmet really shows the age.There are corks in the bottom of each one. One has a Japan sticker the other one is missing. Hi! I have a Vintage Art Deco Salt& Pepper Shaker. They are Yellow and White Pearl Luster with Black. They have Orange and pink Flowers. They have wonderful Geometric Angles. The Tops are White Pearl Luster and Silver Luster. They are 4.75" tall. They are marked Japan. They are in Great Condition. There is minor fading on the black lines. Vintage ceramic salt and pepper shakers in excellent condition 6" tall 6 1/2 Wid

Pearlware bulbous shape shaker painted on top with a blue flower and incised around the shoulder with a straight feather edge. A handled bonbon dish in the Golden Orchid pattern by J.H. Stouffer Company. Circa 1938-1946. This dish has a rare artist signature, I.Rene. The dish is 7" long and 5" at the widest. Very wonderful. Antique salt and pepper shakers depicting a Chinese boy and girl. Porcelain, hand painted in rich colors, they stand 4 1/2" tall. I am guessing their age to be 1930's or 1940's. Stamped"Japan" on bottom. They belonged to my aunt, who passed away 5 years ago at the age of 88. They are in very good condition, no chips or cracks. The condition issues being: some tiny black marks on the girl's sleeve, crazing and the corks are missing. Non smoking home. Shipping includes insurance. Posted with
