Neck is solid glass with a small rolled lip From the round neck are spiring columns to the top of the rosette designs devided them with a outward puffed circle of glass. The glass is thick. The puffed areas are actully indented on the inside. I do not see any cracks or chips on this item. Antique Brass Ceiling Light Fixture UNO with Glass Shade Pat. Dec 24 1912
BRASS CEILING LIGHT FIXTURE WITH GLASS SHADE I am offering for your consideration this single brass ceiling light fixture with glass shade. The fixture is marked UNO with a patent date of Dec 24 12 and the socket is marked Arrow. It appears to be complete but I have not tried to see if it works- it has a length of wire being approximately 20" coming from the top of the tube at the point where it would mount to the ceiling. It has a 17" drop from the ceiling to the bottom of the shade. Good original brass patina with minor discoloration and oxidation. One screw that holds the shade has been replaced and is rusty, the link that attaches the rod to the socket is not brass and small rim chips and roughness around the bottom of the glass shade. This charming ceiling light features a light pinkish peach color vintage glass deco shade with a new solid polished brass fixture. The light fixture has a maximum height of approximately 14 inches and is 11 inches at it's widest point. The shade is vintage and is showing its age with some imperfections in the frosted pinkish peach colored glass including small scuffs on the underside of the shade and small chips in chain holes all of which is pretty common for old glass. The new solid brass fixture base is from a pre-assembled fitter kit featuring a brass beaded chain. Porcelain socket and wire(all U.L. listed but the fixture is not U.L. approved) There is a small tarnish mark in the brass neck and other minor imperfections in the brass finish. It is approx. 6 1/2" tall. the outside is frosted, has a pansy flower in the middle the rest of it is an organic veined texture. All around the sides are pansies. Vintage Art Deco school store ceiling light fixture beehive milk glass shade
For sale is a vintage art deco metal school store ceiling light fixture with an awesome milk glass shade. It is a vintage light but is new since it still is in the box it was bought in and has never been installed. It has been stored in the attic for many years and the lady discovered it and sold it. The fixture with shade measures about 12 inches down from ceiling and about 9 inches wide at widest part. The fitter of the fixture measures about 4 1/4 inches and the opening on the shade is about 4. The fixture is metal painted a very dark brown almost appearing black and a white section holding fitter to canopy. It is in excellent condition. The fixture has a new bulb holder and the original wiring that is in good working order. The wiring does appear to have dried out some and is a little brittle being on the attic so long. Might consider ... morereplacing wiring. easy and very inexpensive thing to do) The milk glass school house shade is in great shape without any chips or cracks and has a shape I think is similar to a beehive or possible acorn shape(very unusual and art deco looking) It is painted white and has some clear glass sections.This is a great fixture that would add an awesome vintage. VTG BRASS CHANDELIER CEILING 4 LIGHT FIXTURE W/ FROSTED & CUT GLASS DOME SHADE
Up for auction is a pre-owned Vintage all brass CHANDELIER ceiling light fixture with 4 outside lights and 1 center light with the dome center frosted and cut glass shade. The light fixture is all brass but have some of the areas painted a tan or light brown color. Light have 4 heavy cast brass ornate 4-light chandelier arm with the flat on/off knobs( knobs are marked BRYANT) Light has a 20" long chain and the domed ceiling mount cover cap. All the fixture shades are frosted with cut in detailed design( cut in design is the clear glass) and gives off a soft. Warm glow when lit. BULBS ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE AUCTION! I cannot find a signature on the light. SIZE: Approximately 20 1/2" across the arms and 47" from the domed ceiling mount cover to the bottom of the shade. The 4 outside smaller shades are 5" from top to bottom ... moreoutside, top of these shades are 1 7/8" on the inside and 2 3/16" aross to the outside. The bottom of the 4 smaller shades are 3 1/2" across to the inside and 3 3/4" aross to the outside. The big center dome shade is 9 1/2" across the inside and 9 3/4" aross to the outside, and approx. 5 1/2' deep. CONDITION:I was real careful when I tried the light because of fraded and bare wires, but all the light sockets worked as shown in the pictures. The light DOES HAVE SOME CRACKS IN BRASS AROUND THE RIMS OF THE 4 OUTSIDE LIGHT, WHERE THE SHADE SCREWS ARE LOCATED, I do not think that these small crack will hurt any thing because when screwed in tight they hold the shades firmly in place. THERE IS ALSO A CRACK IN THE ADJUSTABLE TUBE, THAT ATTACH TO THE HOUSE CEILING FIXTURE(SEE PICTURES)All the shades are free of any cracks, but all have some light roughness, small flea bites around the top rims which cannot be seen when the shades are placed properly in the frame. Plus some light roughness, small flea bites around the bottom edges of the 4 smaller shades, there is a chip on the top of the one smaller shade(will no see once installed in place) see pict

Antique or vintage glass ceiling light fixture shade Baby Blue 3 hole mounting
Antique or vintage 3 hole type glass Baby Blue colored ceiling light fixture shade. The shade is 10" across and 3" deep. It is Baby Blue colored and has a clear pattern on it. It has no chips or cracks in the glass that I could see. The last picture was to show how it looks with the light behind it. But the color did not show up very well, I think that the light was too bright with the flash on also. I have described the items condition to the best of my knowledge. Beautiful Antique Frosted Glass Shade Ceiling Light Fixture Porcelain Canopy
Beautiful antique glass shade ceiling light fixture. This light comes with the mounting hardware and is ready for use. The light has a wonderful glow with the frosted shade and clear glass accents. It really lights up a large room and gives it a warm inviting feeling. The pressed shade has a wonderful raised clear leaf and flower detail with clear glass scalloped and spider webbed center. A heavy brass pineapple finial finishes off the bottom of the shade. The porcelain fitter is by Porcelier and like the shade in excellent condition. The fitter has leaf design along the rim. The light would hang down 8 inches from the ceiling. The large glass shade is approx 14 inches across. This lamp takes three standard base light bulbs. It would also be fine to use a cfl bulbs.
