LARGE VINTAGE MID CENTURY 3 TIER 15 LIGHT SMOKED ETCHED GLASS CRYSTAL CHANDELIER
We are pleased to offer this chandelier. Dating to the 1970s. This gorgeous Mid Century fixture features 3 tiers. Each tier houses large, etched and smoke glass/crystal panels. The middle tier is wider than the top and bottom. The panels hang on the arms of the brass frame. The chandelier is made so that some of the glass panels hang at 90 degree angles which adds interest to the fixture. Both the top and center tier have 5 light sockets which are attached to the center of the chandelier column. The bottom tier features 5 upward curving arms with lights. There are a total of 15 lights on the fixture. The fixture is in very good condition. The wiring is good and the chandelier is ready for installation. The original brass ceiling cover/canopy is included. There is one panel of glass/crystal that is somewhat lighter than the others. It is not ... moreterribly noticeable but it does need mentioning. BEAUTIFUL UNIQUE ANTIQUE ART DECO 5 ARM LARGE BRASS CUT GLASS CRYSTAL CHANDELIER
We are pleased to offer this beautiful. Antique(c1930s to 1940s) brass chandelier. This wonderful fixture features a large brass body with a classical urn shape. On the lower section of the body is a large glass ball for accent. The glass is thick and appears to be blown with a sublte vertical pattern. It is deeply etched/cut with a flower on each side. The flowers have long stems and leaves which are also very deep and textural. The unique bottom brass finial is an exact replica of the chandelier body which is a very nice touch. There are 5 brass arms with lovely curved lines. Each arm houses a single bulb. There are 5 hurricane style shades which appear to be hand painted with a soft green and white leave and stem design. They are quite nice and have a ruffled top. The chandelier is very lovely and elegant. It is in very good condition ... morewith a beautifully aged patina. The wiring is cloth with some considerable wear. The chandelier measures 17" tall and 17" wide. The glass shades are 6.25" tall and 4.5" wide at the tops. They have a 1.5" fitter measurement. Beautiful Antique French Glass/Crystal Bag Chandelier, Brass Frame, 1ft Drop
A very elegant late Victorian bag chandelier displaying a combination of 141 octagonal buttons. Losenge droplets and one base rosette. A superior quality chandelier. With a solid brass hoop frame displaying classical foliate decoration, and a corona of six droplets suspended from the hoop. With a total drop of just over one foot. It is large enough to sit comfortably below a 40-50 inch wide ceiling rose, in any medium sized room. Measures 10 inches wide at the top. Catches the light beautifully and throws around spectrum coloured patterns. All crystals are in excellent order. One small amount of crazing on minor button the point of the brass link wire hole. But robust and difficult to find even under good light and close scrutiny. My camera struggled to pick it out, such is the impact. Mentioned purely for completeness. Weighty. a beautiful antique chandelier. Gilded golden brass, two rings. There are an abundance of tear-pear drop with one flower drop crystal, beautiful solid crystals not new, vintage, however. There are two small holes every other pear drop crystal, which do not have a crystal, this is because if u put in more of the tear drop crystals they are jumbled up, so i have left these two free holes, doesnt notice when hung up, simply would look nice if there were more crystals. i would think that this chandelier probably had icicle crystals which are much narrower. diameter 8" drop 5.5" Chain length 9" I sell a lot of vintage retro lights. Flying Cherub Chandelier This is a super architectural item. It is an original flying gesso cherub. Holding not one but two cut glass crystal chandeliers. PLEASE SCROLL DOWN FOR MORE PICTURES The cherub measures 330 mm(13 inches) from head to toe and the arm width is 250 mm(10 inches) The drops are made up of two sections. A round top bead and a long faceted piece. The wiring and holders are original. Which shows that this is a true period piece, not a modern reproduction. The cherub has a chain to hang it from and I have included a ceiling rose, which is more modern, but has to be better than a white plastic one! The wiring will need replacing before use. These two fixtures are such examples. They were first produced in the 1930s and would have been identical to what you see listed here save for the shades.
