Hanging from the beautiful floral crest are tear drop and button lead crystal prisms. They measure 8" high to the top of the sleeve. 9" wide, and extend 7" out from the wall. Offered is this beautiful pair of antique cast brass Victorian style wall sconce light fixtures. They are in very nice condition and are 100% original from the porcelain sockets to the fabric insulated wire. There is no manufacturers mark that I could find on them but they are extremely well made and of a very high quality. Each fixture measures 10 and 1/2 inches tall by 4 and 1/2 inches wide and will extend 6 inches out from the wall once mounted. One fixture is missing the candlestick cover tube as shown in the photos, I chose not to replace it so as to keep them all original and leave the replacement choice up to the buyers discretion. vintage ornate adjustable shade brass electric wall sconce fixture light lamp
this is a stunning vintage solid brass wall mount electric adjustable sconce lamp. it has beautiful design and detailing and made from very thick heavy brass. it has two arms which each hold flame bulbs. there are two shades that are connected to the shaft in the back. the shades lock into place by the stylized brass nut. And goes up and down the shaft to desired location. it really changes the look and amount of light. the piece has a nice patina. And the arms are very ornate. it is topped with a gorgeous finial and is in great shape. comes with its original hanging bracket hardware. the lamp turns on and off at a switch on the wire. it measures 18 1/4 x 10 3/4 inches. The pull chain has been replaced. The original wiring is in fair condition with one area that is frayed as can be seen in the last photo. PAIR ANTIQUE FUNKY BRASS 7 LIGHT WALL SCONCES MENORAH JUDAICA
Hi. Here is a great pair of antique/vintage wall sconces, each one in the shape of a Temple Menorah with 7 arms, they would look amazing on any wall, the wiring is original so i would have it checked with an electrition, but it is all there, all original. i did not polish the brass so it is in old patina finish. The menorah part is all brass, the backplate is metal that has been gilded. the turn on and off switch is on the back plate and there are two holes for mounting to the wall. the wiring, like i said is all there from all 7 lights to the back. the pair are big measuring 14 3/4 inches long and 11 inches wide at the widest point.the sconces the backplate measures 5" round and are 6.5 inches deep, that means when mounted on the wall they protrude 6.5 inches from the wall. great for lighting a special spot. And with 7 small candelabra ... morebulbs, you will have a great look on the wall. they have an old look. With nice detailing on the front the brass is worn as is the back plate, you can polish up or use as they are. the candlestick parts are covered with white candle covers, and all the insides are there. i have not lit them, i would check with electrition or good handy man before using them. they are as found in an estate. They were stored in the attic for many years, ok the history of them is this, one member of the family said they were in their grandmother's home in the study over the grandfather's desk area, and that they were there for over 80 years, the other family member said that the family story was that they belonged to an older family relative who was a Rabbi and very learned, and he gave them to the grandfather, that is all I know about them, I purchased them a number of years ago and have stored them but never used them. so here they are to sell and find a new home. if you have any other questions email them to me before bidding. thanks so much. We are pleased to offer this antique pair of brass wall light sconces. This Art Deco pair dates to the 1920s. The pair are very nice and elegant without being too ornate. They feature an interesting bell design on the back plate. The bell houses the deeply curved arm as well as the on/off switch. The socket area is fashioned in a candle cup holder design. This lovely pair have very nice and Art Deco period glass shades. The shades are frosted satin with a grape cluster and vine pattern in clear glass. This is very nice pair of sconces. They are in very good condition with a bright. Yet antiqued, brass finish. The shades are in good condition as well with no chips, cracks, etc. They have the normal and expected wear at the fitters but are not chipped. The sconces still retain the old, yellow UL stickers. The 2 brasses sconces used to be gas and have been fully converted to electric. On the rim of the one of the fitters it shows the patent date of"Pat'd.Dec896, Sept2996" The twist knob says"P& S" on the fixture it's also engraved"Weber Patents" They are in excellent working condition. The wire is newer. Upon looking at them. I'm not sure how you would mount them as there's no hardware and I don't see how you would fit it to the wall(even with the bar that's on it) I will leave it up to the new owner to determine. I figured you could drill holes into the canopy and mount it to the wall. The brass is VERY delicate ... moreand it shows it's age very much. There are some dents in it etc.which are hard to see in photos. The pictures show the cosmetic condition a little better than they actually are.The glass shades for the large fitter seem to be heavy for this lightweight of a fixture. You could replace them with something lighter or maybe more of that period. Also, one of the screws appears to be newer. The large fitter is 4 1/8" the small fitter is 2 1/4" The diameter of the canopy is 4" All of the glass shades are free of chips or cracks but do show some wear. Unique& Rare Antique Sconce Light Fixture Set From an old mansion built in the mid 1800's. And I believe it was original to the mansion. Heavy Brass& Wood weighs 3 pounds and 12 ounces each. Heavily etched face and very ornate pieces. Unique with carved wood in the back and brass on the front. One piece has been cut out in the back to expose the face. See photo 6) Will need to be restored/ rewired. The brass plate is loose in a few areas and will need to be adjusted on one light only. This is a simple fix. ANTIQUE / VINTAGE PAIR OF BRONZE BRASS 2 LIGHT ART DECO WALL SCONCES
For your bidding is a gorgeous pair of Art Deco 2 Light wall sconces. The backs which are 7" in diameter are brass grating with a brass plate in the back that has been painted white. Each sconce has two lights/candles that are 6 1/2" tall with the original sleeves and pull changes to turn on and off(all working) The total length of each sconce is 9 1/2" The arms of the lights have swirled detailed designs and reach out 6 1/2" from the wall. The back plates of the sconces are held on by three nuts. There is a metal bar in which to hang them. They have the original wiring which looks to be in good condition. All parts are originals. There is a small amount of paint residue from years of remodels around the back edge of the lights that can easily be removed. From the top of the wall mount to the bottom of the cage it measures about 10 inches tall. When mounted to the wall it will extend out from the wall by 6 inches.
