IL) We had all of our doors stripped and refinished. Unfortunately, this one was from a master closet door that was"repositioned" during the restoration and no longer fits in the room. We paid more for the stripping alone than my Buy It Now price! It is solid wood core door with excellent wood grain with no knots like you see today plus it has its original mirror. The hinges are not a complete set. One is missing one half. The glass knobs are very stricking. They are a complete set of knobs with one on each side of the door. The paint is in vintage shape for its age. You will see some scuffs and scrapes on the one side and the other has the bottom four panels down a different color. Penn Antique Restoration. 28"x80" Antique Interior Pine Door w/ 6 Raised Panels. Strong. Antique, interior door salvaged from an old home in Northeastern Ohio. This door is made of solid pine, and features 6 raised panels. When most people hear"pine" they think of a cheap. Weak, and soft wood. New pine hewn from 10- 20 year old trees doesn't have the same insect-resistant, rot-resistant. Or even fire-resistant qualities that old pine, hewn from trees hundreds of years old has. Old pine is also much harder and stronger than young pine. Hardware: The door is not equipped with any hardware. However. We have a good selection of period hardware to outfit the door(check out our eBay store) If you would like any of the hardware holes patched with a solid block of wood. Please email us for a quote. Condition: On the interior ... moreside of the door. The top of the lock stile is chipped. Otherwise. This door is in very good shape with only surface scrapes, scratches, small nail holes-minor cosmetic blemishes which would be removed during the finishing process or covered if painted. Quirks& Considerations: The height of the door was unevenly cut approx. 1/2" The cut was most likely made to accommodate for an old warped floor or settling foundation. We can square the door. Cut it down or even build it up, email us for a quote. Refinish/Repaint: We could refinish. Repaint, or partially or completely strip the door to prepare it for you to repaint or refinish.
