Condition: The home from where this door was removed was only used as a summer home by a family from the UK. It was ultimately torn down because it was too big! Everything in the house was in excellent condition and this door is certainly no exception. On the exterior side of the door. The top of the hinge stile and the top hinge mortise are chipped. Otherwise, the door is strong, sturdy, and in great shape with only light. Surface scrapes and scratches, which would be removed during the finishing process or covered if painted. Some of the louvers are slightly bent. They are hard to notice unless you're looking for flaws-see photos. Quirks& Considerations: The height of the door was unevenly cut by approx. 1/4" Most likely to accommodate an old warped floor or settling foundation. We can cut the doors to an even height, cut them shorter, or even make them taller-Email us for a quote. Refinish/Repaint: We could refinish. GORGEOUS set/PAIR of victorian era- circa 1890-1900 SHUTTER screen doors. SOLID- with NO warping. HAVE OLD worn surface with strong traces of white crackled. Chippy paint& a green surface underneath. Measure 82" tall. X 16.75" each panel- covers 33.5" wide opening. x 1.25" thick. WONDERFUL old. Original victorian hardware, hinges& original porcelain knob on BOTH sides.
