This impressive old growth fir wood door set is from France or Belgium and dates to around 1900, possibly earlier. The doors were painted and the paint ... morewas recently stripped and the doors were then sanded. They are beautifully made and are flat and not warped in any way. Note the fine craftsmanship in the panels, trim and other details. Both doors are in very good antique condition with a handful of minor chips and scratches as would be expected. There is no woodworm or dry rot damage whatsoever. Dimensions: The door set is 96" wide (center doors are 29" wide and the side doors are 19" wide), 124.5" tall and 3.5" thick at the widest framed edge. The set weighs 265 lbs.

The door is made of solid pine and has a Victorian style arrangement of 4 raised panels on both sides. If you think that pine is a weak. Soft wood; please keep in mind that the wood milled from modern pine trees, which only grow for a few decades before they are cut down, is not the same quality as the wood that was milled by our forefathers from trees that were hundreds of years old. This door was built using the wood from mature pine trees, and exhibits the qualities of wood that has endured the test of time. As a result, it's physically harder, less susceptible to warping and twisting, and more insect and rot resistant than today's pine lumber. Hardware: Aside from ... morea mortise lock. Are joined together to make a room divider but come apart easily. Two measure 79 1/2" tall and 32" wide, One measures 78 3/4" tall and 31 3/4" wide and One measures 79 1/2" tall and 23" wide. The smallest door is a swinging door. It does have a cut out at the bottom where the hardware was to attach it to the floor. It also has a hole in the top edge of the door for the pin that held the top in place. It is missing it's hardware accept the doorknob plate. I believe thease were salvaged from a built in cabinet. They date to the late 1800's period. What is left of the hinges and the RUSTY but intact/functional latchs are Eastlake Victorian. The glass is intact and wavy. The glass doors measure 25 inches wide by 64 tall. The bottom raised panels are 25 wide by 26 tall. The white chippy paint has a heavy texture. These were a barn find and had so much dust and dirt you couldn't even tell they were glass. Let alone white. I DID NOT attempt to clean these other than a wisk broom and quick windex wipe. SORRY, I WILL NOT attempt to ship these. Pay on pickup is acceptable. Email any questions.

Hinge side height is 79 1/2" Opening side is 79 1/4" This is the last of four doors I installed in my home. This is an extra door. Door has a nice rich mahogany color to it but needs refinishing. When I purchased them from an antique dealer I was told they came from a demolitioned school house in South New Jersey. Note.
