Condition: The door must have been about 81" or 82" H originally. And was cut only from the top at some point. We could increase the height by adding to the top only, or keep the height, but cut from the bottom and add to the top to make the door look more proportionate-email us for a quote. Soft wood; please keep in mind that the wood milled from modern pine trees, which only grow for a few decades before they are cut down, is not the same quality as the wood that was milled by our forefathers from trees that were hundreds of years old. This door was built using the wood from mature pine trees, and exhibits the qualities of wood that has endured the test of time. As a result, it's physically harder, less susceptible to warping and twisting, and more insect and rot resistant than today's pine lumber.
