Notice the chamfered(routed) edges with lark's tongue detail bordering every panel-what great Victorian style details! The door was converted at some point into a"swinging door. which means that it was installed with a spring-loaded, pivot hinge installed in it's bottom corner, and swung both forward and backward like a saloon style door. The door no longer has it's pivot hinge or push plates. However, just because it was used as a swinging door, doesn't mean that you have to. Solid pine 6 panel door [1980's] removed 10 years ago and stored since
Listing tonight is a fantastic solid pine entrance door removed years ago from my house and stored with care and will re install flat and true. Its a 6 panel design with true mortise and tenon construction. It measure 32 inches wide and 80 inches tall and 1 3/8 thick. You can see in the pics that the lockset is drilled as well as the hinges. So the bid is for a used slab only to be re framed and re hung. One side has clear finish and the other is painted with the signs of wear. It could be refinished or painted. The smallest door is a swinging door. It does have a cut out at the bottom where the hardware was to attach it to the floor. It also has a hole in the top edge of the door for the pin that held the top in place. It is missing it's hardware accept the doorknob plate. MO during the mid 1970's. This door measures approximately 31 11/16" wide by 83" tall by 2" thick with a 1/8" veneer. I believe the core is ash. The door weighs approximately 70lbs. This door has five recessed panels and it has been sandblasted to reveal a beautiful woodgrain. The door will look truly incredible when finished. No lock.
