Penn Antique Restoration. 35"x79" Antique Exterior Screen Door w/ 3 Windows. Beautiful. Antique, exterior screen door salvaged from a historic home in Minnesota. The door is made of solid cypress with 3 windows. Hardware: The door is currently not equipped with any hardware. However. We have a good selection of period hardware in our eBay store, and tons more in our physical store. If you would like any of the hardware holes patched with a solid block of wood-see"Modification" below. Condition: On the exterior. Some molding is loose. The top of the lock stile is chipped. A piece of molding is cracked. On the interior, the top of the lock stile is chipped. The bottom of the lock stile is chipped. The bottom hinge mortise is chipped. Otherwise. The door is in very good shape with only surface scrapes, scratches, small nail ... moreholes-minor cosmetic blemishes, which would be removed during the finishing process or covered if painted. You are bidding on a pair of Victorian Sear's built exterior and screen door in original condition. They were salvaged from a sears built farmhouse torn down in the 70's and have been stored since. The front exterior door measures 84" tall x 32" wide. It has all the original hardware including the original hand turn door bell in great working condition. It has never been painted just stained. You can see in the pics where part of the decoration was removed to install the door bell. The screen door measures 85" tall x 32 1/4" wide. The original rusty spring hinges still work but will need to be replaced. One of the center 8" spindles is broken. It is complete. Just needs a re glue. The brown paint is faded and it looks like it was only painted twice. A great opportunity to own both! They have been together ... morefor over 100 years!
