Each door has a solid Douglas Fir core covered with 1/16" Birch veneers. Please don't think that"veneer" means inferior quality. Unlike the paper-thin veneers used on modern doors and furniture. These veneers are 1/16" thick and provide strength and stability to the door. Hardware: The doors are not equipped with any hardware. However. The antique wood door was given a very modern feel by painting it turquoise and white and then distressing it back to a 70% paint/30% wood ratio.
