Up For Auction A Matching Set of Three 4" x 4" Hinges(auction is for the set of 3) Brass Plated Cast-Iron beautiful restored condition Cleaned. Polished, and sealed. These hinges have no looseness, or play in them when they are opened. A high quality set of hinges that have not been abused. A couple of areas the brass plating was thin so the iron shows through, these areas polished up nicely so they appear shiny silver, not noticeable as they blend in with the shiny brass as seen in the photos. The pins come out with a little effort(by hand) as they fit tightly, the other ball knob on the other end of the hinge unscrews out. The came out of a really old farmhouse off the front door, after removing several heavy coats of paint the brass was revealed! The black background on the hinges show the brass detailing even better.

All Original RARE Antique 1911 Corbin Model 4 Door Closer - HEAVY - Barn Fresh
Up for auction is an all original rare antique 1911 Corbin Model 4 door closer that came off a antique doctor's door. It is in nice condition for its age. Has some light rusting. Areas of paint on door attachment pieces, all moving pieces still function and has the original Corbin plate on the front. The plate says Corbin and has three different patent dates on it: June 7 1910, Aug 16 1910 and March 28 1911. On top of the moving arm is a stamping that says"1911 Model 4" see photos) It is a very heavy piece(weighs 15 pounds) The arm is 12" long when closed and 24" when opened. The heavy portion is 8" high, 7" wide and 4.5" in depth. It also has the four original brass flat head screws that attach the unit to the door. Overall a great antique piece! The door is made of solid pine and has a Victorian style arrangement of 4 raised panels on both sides. If you think that pine is a weak. Soft wood; please keep in mind that the wood milled from modern pine trees, which only grow for a few decades before they are cut down, is not the same quality as the wood that was milled by our forefathers from trees that were hundreds of years old. This door was built using the wood from mature pine trees, and exhibits the qualities of wood that has endured the test of time. As a result, it's physically harder, less susceptible to warping and twisting, and more insect and rot resistant than today's pine lumber. Hardware: Aside from ... morea mortise lock. Up for auction is this lot of 4 antique( 114 years old) interior doors that were salavaged from a large Victorian home. These appear to be solid oak with chestnut veneer or your guess. There are 4 doors. 2 have door jambs(We DO have other door jambs that will work with doors)and 2 without. Each of the doors has its original heavy brass ornate door knobs& plates& lock sets(sorry no key) all the brass is in need of polishing to bring out the serious beauty that hidden here, also all the hinges are present as well. Pair of Victorian 1870's Antique Arched Church Doors, 11' 4" Tall, Old Paint
Here is a great pair of old Arched Church Doors. They are 11 feet 4 inches tall, they fit a 60" opening, doors are actually 59 3/4 across both of them. They are in extremely good condition, for their age, which I would put Pre 1870, by the square nails and the hinges. These doors are not warped, fit together very nice, it has 3 hinges on one door that are still good, their are 2 on the other door that are just half and 1 is broken. Yes it takes 6 hinges 4 1/2" tall, very ornate and Victorian. The old paint is wonderful, Blue and green on the outside and an old red on the inside, both sides show extremely well, because the paint is very old and nice. These have been stored for probably 50 years, There is a splinter missing on one door, and an very old repair and a rough place at the bottom, the repair is under the old paint and these ... moreare hardly noticeable. I took 12 pics, showing everything including the little imperfections. I hate to say imperfections, I believe these are the best doors I've personally ever seen.
