Wonderful Solid Pine Mission Arts and Crafts Entrance Door
Up for auction is a beautiful Solid Pine Door from 1918. Door was removed by the owner so we know the date of the door as being original. This door is in excellent shape with original glass windows. House that door came from had a nice wide porch and as such this door has no rot. Door bottom on front of the door was wood puttied to fill some of the dings from door and will be buffed flat and ready for paint. Door front has been sanded down and inside door side has original varnish which I believe has been shallacked. Its a 6 panel design with true mortise and tenon construction. It measure 32 inches wide and 80 inches tall and 1 3/8 thick. You can see in the pics that the lockset is drilled as well as the hinges.
