Penn Antique Restoration. 31.5"x81" Antique Arched Door w/4 Raised Panels. Unusual. Antique door salvaged from an old home in Northeastern Ohio. The door is made of solid, old pine and is painted on both sides. If you think that pine is a weak. Soft wood; please keep in mind that the wood milled from modern pine trees, which only grow for a few decades before they are cut down, is not the same quality as the wood that was milled by our forefathers from trees that were hundreds of years old. This door was built using the wood from mature pine trees, and exhibits the qualities of wood that has endured the test of time. As a result, it's physically harder, less susceptible to warping and twisting, and more insect and rot resistant than today's pine lumber. The door has an arched top with 4 raised panels on both sides. Quirks& ... moreConsiderations: The door originally had a 5th panel at the bottom. But I believe that it was removed to let a pet cross between rooms. We could make and add a new panel- email us for a quote. The height of the door is slightly uneven. It doesn't look like it was modified. And it just looks like that was the way it was built-possibly a custom-build door? The lock stile is a 1/4" taller than the hinge stile. Hardware: Although the photos show some hardware installed; the door doesn't come equipped with any hardware. However. Condition: There are minor cosmetic blemishes from top to bottom. Which are normal for a 100+ year old door. A very unique antique/ vintage. Arched, wooden screen door which I was told it is from the 1940's but not positive. It has some condition issues(see pics) but that is part of the charm of it. Great for an art project, decorative piece with a little clean up etc. Measures approx. 35.5" wide x 85" tall. Penn Antique Restoration. 45"x88" Antique Spanish Cedar Arched Double Entry Doors w/Frame. Amazing pair of antique. Arched, double, entrance doors salvaged from South America. The doors and frame are made of solid Spanish Cedar(a species of Mahogany) Each door has 2 windows and 2 panels. 1 lite is missing from each door. But we could cut and add glass from our collection of antique glass for $25/lite. We could also replace the lower, wooden panels with glass, or even replace the upper, glass panels with wood-email us for a quote. The frame has casement molding on the exterior side only. The outer edges of the molding are adorned with a beautiful. Carved, circle and bead pattern. There are a few places where the motif is missing, but we could make and fill in the missing portions-email us for a quote. The shutters were quite weathered and needed major repair, but a major department store in NYC had us fix them up just enough so that they could be used as display items(see photo) We could rebuild those same shutters from scratch, or even make wooden storm or screen doors-email us with a small description of what you would like and we'll give you a quote. Hardware: The doors are equipped with lift-off hinges. Antique Eastlake Arched Exterior 36” Door with Jamb, Leaf Design NED103
A remarkable antique arched exterior door ornamented with a leaf design. In its original jamb with leaf-detailed interior trim and a beautiful stained finish. Salvaged from a house in Kentucky, this Eastlake door dates from 1880’s. It features a gorgeous leaf design throughout, with rosettes at the top above the glass, and decorative chamfered edges surrounding the panels. The inside of the door features a simpler paneled design, with the leaf pattern on the trim surrounding the door. The door is in very good antique condition; there is a small piece of trim on the lower left-hand corner on the inside that needs to be glued back in place. Pair of Victorian 1870's Antique Arched Church Doors, 11' 4" Tall, Old Paint
Here is a great pair of old Arched Church Doors. They are 11 feet 4 inches tall, they fit a 60" opening, doors are actually 59 3/4 across both of them. They are in extremely good condition, for their age, which I would put Pre 1870, by the square nails and the hinges. These doors are not warped, fit together very nice, it has 3 hinges on one door that are still good, their are 2 on the other door that are just half and 1 is broken. Yes it takes 6 hinges 4 1/2" tall, very ornate and Victorian. The old paint is wonderful, Blue and green on the outside and an old red on the inside, both sides show extremely well, because the paint is very old and nice. These have been stored for probably 50 years, There is a splinter missing on one door, and an very old repair and a rough place at the bottom, the repair is under the old paint and these ... moreare hardly noticeable. I took 12 pics, showing everything including the little imperfections. I hate to say imperfections, I believe these are the best doors I've personally ever seen. Antique COLUMBIA Medicine Cabinet Door -- Arched Mirror with Etched Decoration
I'm pretty sure this mirror is made entirely of metal and glass. And the mirror glass has a retro style design etched into it at the top center and down both sides. It came from a built-in medicine cabinet in a house I used to own, and when we removed it, it left open recessed shelves inside the wall, which was a better match for our decor at the time. It is conveniently just 16" across and it measures 24" top to bottom, measured at the top of the arch in the center. Its total thickness, including the metal backing, is ¾" and the metal tag on the back says"Columbia Quality. Columbia Metal Box Company, New York, USA. The door hardware- hinges, slider and catch- are all likely to be incomplete because we foolishly left some remaining pieces attached to the wall. Vintage Antique Round / Arched Top Wood Screen Door 32" x 79 1/2" - EXCELLENT
This is a vintage antique round or arched top wooden screen door. Its measurements are 32” x 79 ½” designed for a 2’8” x 6’8” opening) The door is a full 1” thick. It has what appears to me to be its original copper screen wire. And the wire has no damage holes in it. It was installed and used once upon a time. It does have a drilling for what appears to be a standard vintage screen door type latch and mounting holes for small. Rather ornate hinges. It also has a tiny center hole drilled for a screen door spring mounting eyelet or hook. I believe the door is made of birch and that its original color was similar to what you see that has been covered by the latch plate. I do not believe the door has been refinished or restained- I believe the original finish has just darkened to the color that it is now. There is no evidence that the screen ... morebead has ever been off of the door. But that is difficult to tell on a door this old if it was done properly and carefully many, many years ago. This door is very tight and solid and not warped or damaged in any way– only aged. I believe this door to be from the early part of the 20 th century. The character of the existing finish(what’s left of it) would make this door relatively easy to refinish or restore. Antique wooden Arched Carriage House Doors - 1 set
Selling one set of antique arched carriage house doors from what I believe to be the 1920s– 1930s. Each set of doors measure 94" across(each door 47" and 95" in height. Approximately 8' x 8' Each set of doors has original glass. Iron work detailing. There are no hinges. I believe the doors to be a southern pine. Acquired in Cincinnati. Ohio region. I have researched similar doors and have found a wide range of retail pricing. I would like to get around $3000 per set. Although I am open to negotiation.
