The door has a solid pine core with a 1/4" veneer hardwood(most likely oak) has 1 large wavy glass lite, and 2 raised panels. The panel directly below the glass was poorly made and installed. Indicating at some point the door had a larger glass lite installed. If you like, we could remove the panel. Order a glass lite the same size of the original glass(i.e. beveled, tempered, leaded, stained, etc. and install it- email us for a quote. Up for auction is a wonderful antique late 1800's Eastlake style or Ball& Stick style Victorian screen door. This is the second of two doors I am listing and has a slightly different configuration than the first although they are the same size. The wood is in excellent condition and the screening is good too! Measures 36" wide x 85" tall x 7/8" thick. Original right off the frame condition. They were sandblasted and then repainted, with the hinge pins also being lubricated. They measure approx. 3 inches by 3 inches and feature a removable iron hinge pin. A feature not often found in the new replica hinges. Their condition is very good. I note some very light surface rust in some areas on the outer edge of the hinge. Hinge pin moves freely.
