Penn Antique Restoration. 30"x77" Antique Arts& Crafts Exterior Oak Door. Craftsman style. Antique, exterior door salvaged from an old home in Northeastern Ohio. The door has a solid oak core with 1/16" oak veneers. Originally, the door had 9 beveled glass lites, but now, only 6 remain. We could order and install the 3 missing pieces of glass-email us for a quote. This door was originally a part of a pair of double doors. And had 2 internal slide bolts installed in the top and bottom its current hinge stile. It was later used as a single door, and as you could see from the photos, a lock was installed in the opposite side from the slide bolts. As a result, there are hinge mortises on both sides of the door. We could plug those mortises, cut them off, as well as make any other repairs and adjustments to the door-see"Modification" ... morebelow. Hardware: Aside from a mortise lock. The door is not equipped with any hardware. However. W e have a good selection of period hardware in our eBay store. And tons more in our physical store. Door measures 32" wide by 79 1/2" tall by 1 3/4" thick. It has been professionally stripped and refinished. 2 raised panels in this pine door. 1 hole drilled out for a deadbolt. The door has a solid pine core covered with 1/16" thick, oak veneers, and has an impressive arrangement of 15, true-divided, beveled glass lites. When most people hear"pine" they think of a cheap. Weak, and soft wood. New pine hewn from 10- 20 year old trees doesn't have the same insect-resistant, rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant qualities that old pine, hewn from trees hundreds of years old has. Old pine is also much harder and stronger than young pine. Also. Please don't think that"veneer" means inferior quality. Unlike the paper-thin veneers used on modern doors and furniture. I believe it was re painted on the screen and the wording on the wood part of the door which reads"we sell quality" guaranteed" are newer painted.as in maybe 30 years ago. I am listing a very nice Victorian carved stained glass front entry door. It measures 33-3/4 inches wide and 81-1/4 inches tall and does have a strip added at the bottom which can be removed to make it 80-1/2 inches tall. It is missing the handle hardware on one side. Penn Antique Restoration. 48"x107" Antique Victorian Double Entry Doors w/Windows& Panels. Fantastic pair of antique double doors salvaged from an old Victorian home in Philadelphia. PA. Each door is made of solid pine, and has 2 windows with a recessed panel underneath. On the exterior side, the upper windows have stepped ledges directly above, and the lower windows have stepped ledges directly below. Each window and panel is countered with lovely. Bead and reel molding on the exterior side. On the interior side, both panels, and only one of the taller windows has the decorative molding. The other tall window only has 3 pieces, and neither of the upper windows have any. Unfortunately, we are not able to reproduce this molding, but we could replace the partial moldings around the taller windows, and add the same molding that ... morewe make, to the upper windows-email us for a quote. This old Victorian door in the Eastlake Style has been stripped of all paint and is ready to finish in any way you want. It is constructed of heart pine and is in very nice vintage condition and bears the original porcelain knob and escutcheon plate. It measures 33 ¾”w x 87 ½”h x 2” thick. Opening for glass 22” w x 46 1/2”h. It features carved bullseye and scalloped detail on one side(lower left bullseye has some damage- see last photo) and raised panels on the other. Available is a Wooden door from a 1890s built home. I cant say for sure whether or not this was original or added later but its definately not new. Took the door off to replace with a new modern style. Door does not have hinges(were previously sold seperately) The door knob is newer and I do have a key for it.
