This is a very nice pair of brass wall sconces with original patrina in good working condition. There is one light per sconce. Hanging from the beautiful floral crest are tear drop and button lead crystal prisms. They measure 8" high to the top of the sleeve. 9" wide, and extend 7" out from the wall. Here is a Pair of Antique or Vintage Brass Wall Sconces Lights With Crystal Hanging Prisms. Each one of these has two arms on them with white candlecovers. These will need to be rewired as I wouldn't want to trust the wiring that is in them. These have a nice patina on them. One of them has some paint around the base of it and some up on the arm also, which I am sure would come off with some scrubbing. These will need a good cleaning, all I did was knock the top layer of dust off. There is some very, very light corrosion in a few spots but this isn't bad at all. One sconce is missing three beads on the side. But with the amount of beads on these sconces, it is not noticeable. Two candle lights on each sconce. There are holes in the gold bobeche cups, so you can add prisms if desired. There are some superficial small cracks in the metal and some white paint mostly on the back of the sconces. Attributed to the French Bagues maker are finished in an aged silver leaf, the frames are beaded, the basket form is beaded with two candle arms. They are hung with wonderful antique crystals in amber, amethyst and clear in the forms of pears with crystal leaves, crystal balls, French pedagogue shapes, stars, flowers, crystal leaves and faceted drops. All in all an amazing fantasy of crystal and wonderful shapes. The scones measure 16" tall x 12 1/4 wide x 6 1/2 deep, and are a true left and right pair. Vtg Pair Gold Gilt Crystal Italian Hollywood Regency Candle Holder Wall Sconces
Beautiful antique candle wall sconces with prism shaped crystals. Circa1920's. Has a metal"Made In Italy" tag attached. In good condition, however missing 2 crystals(one on two different sconces, pictured above) It also appears that the sconce pictured in the middle may have had the crystals replaced at some point in time, as they look slightly newer than the other crystals. It's hard to tell upon glancing, as they look very similar to the older crystals. Measurements: 12" L x 7 1/4" W(at widest point) Please feel free to ask question before purchasing. Thanks!
