VINTAGE FLUSH MOUNT 3 LIGHT BRASS CHANDELIER HUBBELL I have for auction a vintage flush mount brass chandelier. The light measures 12 inches across and 20 inches down form the ceiling. It is in good vintage condition with a few minor scratches to the finish. The sockets are a C.E. MFG. Co. 60 W. 250 V. The shade holders are the 2 part Hubbell shade rings patented JULY 23-03. FEB 23-04. The paddle sockets work well and the light has been rewired. The shades are in fair condition with some minor chipping on the bottom rims. There are some large bubbles in the glass of the shades. Produced by Verreries des Hanots in the 30ies this shade does not exist with a signature. It is represented in numerous catalogues of lamp producers for instance Hettier& Vincent made several fixtures for this model. In an old Holophane(Hanots and Verlys) catalogue is is represented under#8547'Laterne Juive' the Jewish Lantern) I was not able to trace down the maker of the fixture. Large diameter flush mount Spanish Revival ceiling light fixture w/ a largely intact original polychrome finish. Steel body. Wrought iron arms, and decorative socket covers are steel. Both fixtures have a satiny finish somewhere between silver and brass, with an elegant scrolling vine design around the perimeter of the fitter. Each light features a simple gadrooned glass shade. These ceiling-mount light fixtures are in excellent condition with a gracefully aged finish; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. Antique Vintage Light Fixture Flush Mount Cast Plaster 3 Light
Here is a nice old flush mount ceiling fixture that was found in with a lot of other fixtures so I'm not positive of the age. The fixture is cast plaster with stamped brass socket bells and finial. Based on other fixtures that I've handled. I would estimate this to be from the 1920's-30's. Please note: this will need a complete re-wire. I'm sure that has been painted over the years. Since the back of the fixture is a gold color(see pics) There are a few small nicks/chips along the edge of the fixture where it meets the ceiling but overall it's in good shape(see pics) There is only one socket. The other 2 bells are not attached and have no sockets. There are also a few stress cracks in the bells. Which is pretty common on thin-gauged stamped brass in older fixtures(see pics) What wiring remains is original. So this ... morewould need a complete rewire and sockets. This is a clear and frosted shade with a very strong Art Deco leaf design. It's simple. But very striking. It has a small chunky glass column for a little touch of sparkle on the canopy. It is white frosted with beautiful-highly detailed clear glass. All components are in excellent condition and are from the mid century era. The shade measures about 10 inches in diameter and is in wonderful condition with no chips or cracks. The fixture is vintage aluminum and in very good condition. There is one new porcelain socket pictured with a 60 watt bulb. This amazing light fixture hangs just 6 inches from the ceiling. The mounting hardware will be included. The close up photo was taken about 6 inches away from the shade so I doubt these tiny nicks would ever be noticed once the fixture is mounted to your ceiling.I just wanted to mention it for accuracy. The light filters through the clear parts of the shade and up the stem producing an awesome lighting effect. The Stem of the Fixture features a Clear Glass Ribbed Center Column and a Clear Glass Bobeche that holds 5 Large Crystal/Glass Prisms.
