These appear to be original. There is an additional drop in the center(these seem to be replacements) The pipe stems are covered in cloth cord. I also love how the arms sweep down and up. The chandeliers are an impressive 21-inches wide. They are 33-1/2-inches long(to the bottom of the cloth tassel) And 26-3/4-inches minus the tassel. Old pair vintage white metal brass-colored electric wall sconces light fixture
Up for sale is a lovely pair of old decorative electric wall sconce lights. Although not certain what the metal type is. The base metal is gray in color with a brass-colored coating.which has oxidized some over time which I believe adds to their overall timeless character. There is some finish loss. They would extend approximately 11" from the wall. The decorative mount is approximately 5 1/4" in diameter while the globe mount measures approximately 4 1/2" Would like to bring to your attention that one decorative leaf is missing from the bottom of one of the sconces as shown in photo#5. Under close examination the very tip of the remaining decorative leaf shown within the same picture may be missing its tip. This floor lamp is approx. 66 inches tall. It has three lights with electric blue color globes(acrylic or plastic. Not sure! The stick was done in chromed color metal. It has a switch and it works. 2 VINTAGE PAULDING PORCELAIN ART DECO BATHROOM WALL ELECTRIC LIGHT SCONCES
Here are 2 great 1930's art Deco porcelain wall sconce lights from Paulding. You will see in the pictures that they are in great condition. I have not tried to clean them and appear to be fully functional. The fastening screw is included and the pull chain porcelain end is also still intact. Very hard to find everything together. These also have the outlet on the bottom behind the pull chain. These can be wired 250v 10amp or 125v 15 amp. I have had some questions about the wiring so I have included 2 more pictures. A 1930's Art Deco architectural salvage Ceiling Light Fixture, complete w/ hanging switch plug. The is is an entire self contained electrical system for a room with only a ceiling drop; complete with switch and electrical outlet. In the early days of electricity. From about 1880 to 1930 and later for some, the houses were not wired for electricity. This is an entire circuit for a room with one ceiling light drop. Included is the ceiling light and glass, but also included is the original braided cord(2 feet or so) and original light and power switch that hangs from the ceiling fixture. With the one power source you could run a room from this spot. Dimensions- fixture hangs 10 inches long from ... moreceiling to bottom of glass. Glass is 7 1/2 inches in diameter; fit ring diameter for glass 4 1/8 inches; Ceiling plate 5 7/8 inch diameter; Mounting hole spacing 5 1/4 inches. The electrical components are all in excellent shape. Currently wired and working for photos. We have opened up the socket/switch mechanism so you can see how clean and excellent it is. With a little staining on the ceramic light socket. You can see how excellent the parts are within the original light socket. This is is excellent for an era correct installation in a historic home. The 2 brasses sconces used to be gas and have been fully converted to electric. On the rim of the one of the fitters it shows the patent date of"Pat'd.Dec896, Sept2996" The twist knob says"P& S" on the fixture it's also engraved"Weber Patents" They are in excellent working condition. The wire is newer. Upon looking at them. I'm not sure how you would mount them as there's no hardware and I don't see how you would fit it to the wall(even with the bar that's on it) I will leave it up to the new owner to determine. I figured you could drill holes into the canopy and mount it to the wall. The brass is VERY delicate ... moreand it shows it's age very much. There are some dents in it etc.which are hard to see in photos. The pictures show the cosmetic condition a little better than they actually are.The glass shades for the large fitter seem to be heavy for this lightweight of a fixture. You could replace them with something lighter or maybe more of that period. Also, one of the screws appears to be newer. The large fitter is 4 1/8" the small fitter is 2 1/4" The diameter of the canopy is 4" All of the glass shades are free of chips or cracks but do show some wear. Antique Vintage Light Fixture Gas And Electric Hanging Fixture No Shades
Here is a great old gas/electric combo fixture. And all of the gas plumbing appears to be intact. The finish is worn over the entire piece, all components except for the gas plumbing are brass. The gas valves move freely, though there is no wiring at the moment. One of the sockets is frozen, so the pull chain doesn't move. A complete rewire is needed anyway, so all of the issues can be addressed at that time. There are no shades included. And there are 2 fitter screws that are missing. The fitter size is 2 1/4" for the electric, and 1 1/2" for the gas shades. The finial appears to be a replacement(see pics) There is a nipple at the end for mounting/gas connect. But no other bracketry. There is some paint on the canopy as well(see pics) This will be partially disassembled for shipment. Antique VTG Leviton milk glass electric wall sconce light lamp 110 plug no shade
Up for your consideration is an antique wall-mounted sconce light. It features a lovely Victorian style opaque white milk-glass globe. Atop of which sits a brass Leviton light socket. This uses one standard-size light bulb and turns on and off with a toggle push switch. It works great as you can see in the picture. The rest is made of some sort of heavyweight metal(I'm guessing iron) that has been painted over with glossy beige colored paint. As you can also see in the pictures, the fixture sits a little crooked in relation to the metal base, probably from people running into it over the years. The parts can be moved and adjusted easily(in my opinion) but I didn't want to mess it up, so I will leave that for the new owner to deal with. It is wired with a standard vintage 110 non-polarized plug, which will fit into any standard US ... moreelectrical outlet. So, no electrician required! There is no shade to cover the bulb. My guess is it was probably lost or broken with the passage of time. It should be easy to replace and find one to your liking if you search more here on ebay! Antique Ceiling Hanging Light Fixture Chandelier 5-Bulb Electric Brass Metal
For your restoration pleasure. Here is a lovely antique ceiling fixture. Mixed metal construction, the socket covers, bottom body, and ceiling rose are brass, the arms are probably pot metal, and the upper body part is steel. It measures about 18" across at the sockets, hangs down approximately 16" from the ceiling to the end of the finial. All five sockets include the shade screws and the individual switches are intact and seem to work properly. The lamp will of course need to be rewired. And it has developed a fair amount of oxidation, tarnish, and finish loss. Other than that, the fixture is in remarkably solid condition, should restore to a show piece or could be enjoyed as found if you appreciate a shabby, original look. Vtg. Antique Brass Hanging Electric Ceiling Light! Lamp! Victorian! Chandelier
I have two of these listed so if you need a matching set please view it's mate. I listed separate because most of the time people only need one. This wonderful antique light measures 23 inches wide/round and 18 inches tall. The chain and the part that attaches to the ceiling are an additional 20 inches. But of course, the chain can be shortened to adjust to the height of your ceiling. I personally would replace the chain and rewire the lamp due to age. For its age, it's in excellent shape, and I can find very little wear. There is a bit of scuffing and the metal has tarnished a little bit in spots. That would be mainly on the chain and such though, as the body of the lamp is just great. The bulbs need replace and you can chose the bulb of your choice. Beautiful Antique Hanging Gas Light that has been converted to electric. It is all original except for the ceiling cap. This light was purchased in Calhan. Colorado. We were told that it came out of a mansion that was being torn down. There are no cracks or any other damage. It is a light Amber color with Rose Floral etching. Vintage Early American Wall Mount Electric Light Fixture Quilted Glass Shade
Hi! I have a Vintage Early American Wall Hanging Electric Light. It's Brass Metal. Wood and has a Pressed Glass Quilted Shade and Clear Glass Chimney. It has an Old Fashion Key Switch and takes a 3 way bulb. It's 10" long and 8" high(16" to the top of the chimney) The Shade is 6.75" diameter and fits into the 7" metal fitter. It has Wonderful Color. Style and Details. It works great. It's in Great Condition. There is some rust on the metal and nicking on the edge of the shade where it fits the fitter. Vintage Riddle Co. Electric wall Sconce Very Ornate Metal Antique light fixture
WELCOME TO MY AUCTION For sale today is this vintage and very ornate metal electric lighted wall sconce by Riddle Co. Marked# 704. Design patent pending. It measures about 9 in. in length and 5.50 in. wide. Made of cast aluminum, the main part is a two town brown color, with faded red and green highlights on the edges. Has a standard light fixture with a working pull chain off and on switch. I is missing the wall mount bracket and the decorative finial for the front. It does work but I would recommend a new cord. The brown paint is scuffed off some, but there is no cracks or broken areas. Enjoy and please look at my other auctions. Antique Victorian Brass Electric light fixture, ceiling chandelier, Deco, glass
This auction is for an ornate Victorian or Art Deco looking brass ceiling light. Chandelier style, made to hang on a chain. It was taken from my mother in laws house recently during a remodel, the house was built in 1916 and this is the original living room light. It has three lights, the holders for the bulbs are on ornate arms, and dangle, they are not fixed in place, and they were set up to turn on individually by turning the key on each light. The chain, and ornate key bit on the end are still present as well as a cone like piece, but I can't recall how they were all put together. but all the pieces are here. There are 3 heavy glass shades, lightly frosted on the insides and not chipped or damaged. The light fixture has some dust on the top, a few paint splashes from paint jobs over the years, and the wiring is the old original cloth ... morecovered style, so I would recommend rewiring!
