VINTAGE OLD ANTIQUE MID CENTURY CEILING LIGHT FIXTURE CHANDELIER GLASS MIRROR
I have up for auction this super nice find. This piece was found in an old estate that I cleaned out. This piece is super awesome and guaranteed old. The is all metal with leafe designs that are all painted cream. Then there is a mirrored back with the light bulb that sticks out. Then on the light bulb are all glass beads that are tied around the light bulb which you can remove when the light bulb burns out. Then all along the perameter of the piece are super great solid glass or crystal tiered round ball prisms. They are all there and the piece is in good shape for its age. The mirror does have some light crazing which is on the back side but just great authentic patina to the piece. The piece measures about 10" in diameter at the widest point. The chandelier cage is brilliant brass with a cut line, faux twist pattern on the arms. The chandelier cage houses crystal bead chains, large crystal florettes, large crystal u-drops and very large crystal Argand style spears. This is a STUNNING chandelier, very dramatic. The crystals are all old, not new replacements. The chandlier is in very good condition. There is expected aging to the brass patina in a few areas, but overall it is still brilliant brass in color. LARGE VINTAGE MID CENTURY 3 TIER 15 LIGHT SMOKED ETCHED GLASS CRYSTAL CHANDELIER
We are pleased to offer this chandelier. Dating to the 1970s. This gorgeous Mid Century fixture features 3 tiers. Each tier houses large, etched and smoke glass/crystal panels. The middle tier is wider than the top and bottom. The panels hang on the arms of the brass frame. The chandelier is made so that some of the glass panels hang at 90 degree angles which adds interest to the fixture. Both the top and center tier have 5 light sockets which are attached to the center of the chandelier column. The bottom tier features 5 upward curving arms with lights. There are a total of 15 lights on the fixture. The fixture is in very good condition. The wiring is good and the chandelier is ready for installation. For you consideration is a mid century Swedish iron and glass chandelier. It is in very good condition. Some minor spots of discoloration/rust and one of the 9 included glasses has a crack, no chips and not easily noticeable. The glass panels are held to the curved brass frame with a screw on their upper sections as well as their lower. The brass frame is accented on each panel with an acorn finial both on the upper and lower sections. The ornate center column is brass with an incised twist pattern. RARE Mid Century Murano Glass Leaf Chandelier vintage ceiling light lamp fixture
I have other Mid Century lights listed and more on the way. This is a RARE find this is the hard to find version of Muranos leaf shade chandeliers and this is the only one on ebay so don't let your chance pass you by. This still had the Murano label on the glass shaft leaving no doubt who made this one. The design is awesome the brightness against the frosted leafs really stand out. The sockets are on a swivel joint so you can adjust their position. This will look great in an antique or modern home or office. The glass leaves will be taken off and wrapped individually for safe shipping. As you can see it does work fine and the wires are ok however they are the old cloth covered wires and it wouldn't hurt replacing those 2 wires it is very easy to do just 2 simple wires. An original metal ceiling lamp from the 1950's. In very good vintage condition with great coloring very minimal wear. Everything is original. I just dusted it off ~ it was my grandmothers and originally hung in her dining room. We replaced it with a another fixture. As we went with a different look. When we took it down a few years ago it worked like a champ, so I assume it still would. There is a partial sticker on the ceiling dome that has" Underwriters Halcolite. Inc. Issue B-215" along with some numbers& other words I can't make out ~ since some of the sticker is missing. There is also another label on the base that states" Union Made Affiliated with American Federation of Labor International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers A52502085 Reg U.S. Pat. Off. It is lovely. And features a large metal black shade, ... moredecorative brass ring with scrolling design at the top of the shade and also the brass base features the same design as the top ring. Glass chimney globe in center with decorative beaded top. It is approx 18" tall(from the gold top loop to the brass finial on the bottom) I am not including the ceiling dome or chain from which it hangs. If you include that it would be an additional 12" making it 30" in total length) Metal ceiling cap is 5" in diameter. Base of lamp shade measures 16.5" in diameter. Glass Hurricane/chimney is 9.5" I have shown. In the photos, the lamp apart as well as together. It has a porcelain socket that looks great& has a 60W light bulb installed. The wiring appears in good condition, a little light fraying in a few spots, but nothing bad. The metal shade looks great, with a few minor scratches, nothing that goes through the paint. VTG MID CENTURY MODERN GLASS CHANDELIER SWAG HANGING LAMP ORANGE AMBER PLUG IN
This is a very nice mid century hanging swag lamp. The chain hooks up to a ceiling hook. Etc. the lamp hangs down. There is plenty of chain to reach quite a distance to an outlet(then just plugs in- no hard wiring needed) The clear coated electrical cord runs within the chain. The cord/chain has a dial type switch(see photo) The globe is glass with bubble shaped type texture pattern. The ends are metal. Please examine all enlarged photos for best description. I believe you will be pleased with what you see. On the upper rim. Under where the metal covers, there looks like there may be a small crack. It does not go through the glass. I noted it when I took the metal off. I will be adding a photo. It is covered by the metal& does not affect appearance. Other than that there are no chips, cracks or breakage. In a few small areas there are ... moresome minor changes to the orange/amber color on the glass- much like thinning varnish, typically expected with aging. In my opinion it is not all that noticable when the lamp is on, nor does it detract from the wonderfulness of this lamp. It is a good sign of true vintage age. Again, see all enlarged photos. Extravagant Mid-Century Murano Prism Glass Spiral Chandelier 114 11inch prisms
Incredible auathentic mid-century Italian chandelier with Murano glass prisms that are 11 inches long. In the picture with the lights on. There appears to be burnt out lights on the lower tiers. I took these pictures in the house I have since vacated. I have had the chandelier since 1990. It is from the 1970's. I is approximately 34 inches long and 24 inches wide. The prisms are supported on a brass frame. It has a chain support and the chandelier is extremely heavy. It will require strong support. Pricing is difficult at best. Although rare. I am finding similar chandeliers from $2500 to $5000. I even found an Italian firm offering a new chandelier"based on a mid-century design" for $2900 plus shipping from Italy. It did not have nearly the same number of prisms. Well here is the original design! I will start the bidding at ... morethe low end of this price range. Shipping and insurance will be included. Used prisms are selling for $15-$20 each and are very popular with artists designing new"things" They are $33 each new plus significant shipping charges. I don't thing the new prisms are Murano glass. I think they are made in the US and are just"glass" Some of these have prisms made of Lucite. So. It is possible to sell the prisms and break up the chandelier. There are 114 of them in the chandelier. That would price the chandelier from $1710 to $2280. The brass frame is also of value. We are pleased to offer this very nice. Ornate and quite unique Mid Century(1960s) French or Italian tole pendant lamp/chandelier. This 6 paneled, 3 light fixture features an ornate tole frame. The tole has a hammered pattern and extends around the bottom of the frame and in the borders of each panel. Each panel features a large wire fleur de lis which is topped with a tole acanthus leaf. There is also a tole flower in the center of each fleur de lis. The finial is gilted tole acanthus leaves that curl upward on each end. The stained glass panels are textured and alternate with 2 blue panels, 2 gold panels and 2 purple panels. The glass graduates in width and is wider at the bottom sections. It features brass hardware paired with both Lucite ribbons as well as large, faceted, round Lucite prisms. The chandelier has 4 tiers. The upper tier is the ribbon section and is the widest section of the fixture. There are 22 ribbons. Each ribbon has a round, faceted prism on the end. These prisms are attached with brass screws. The remaining 3 tiers contain the round prisms and these tiers graduate in size. The second tier contains 18 prisms; the third tier contains 12 and the lower tier houses 6 prisms.
