The covers are“held” in place by aluminum. Um, arms. There are also aluminum flourishes at the top and bottom of the chandeliers. There are six arms. Nice, and each holds six amethyst glass drops. These appear to be original. There is an additional drop in the center(these seem to be replacements) The pipe stems are covered in cloth cord. I also love how the arms sweep down and up. The chandeliers are an impressive 21-inches wide. They are 33-1/2-inches long(to the bottom of the cloth tassel) And 26-3/4-inches minus the tassel. If you need the fixtures shorter, I can reduce the length of the pipe stem a few inches. If you need them longer please contact me. I lusted after this exquisite pair for a long time. Impressive chandeliers I’ve ever offered, and abounds with amazing details: 1) The finial! Wow! Instead of the standard glass sphere. This chandelier has an intricate glass spear! Wow! 2) The five glass S-shaped arms have notches cut into the glass. 3) There are five additional arms which leap into the air. These hold a glass(not plastic! ring. The ring in turn holds double strands which swag out to the other arms. Elegant. Stunning! 4) The candle covers are not plastic. Nor cardboard. They are glass! Yes. Glass! I’ve never seen this before! 5) The glass bobeches(the disks under the candle covers) are unique. These are normally bowl-shaped but the bobeches here are more plate-like. Antique Art Deco Brass Hanging Chain Ceiling Light With Glass Shade This is an antique Art Deco hanging chain ceiling light with a white and tan satin glass shade. The ceiling and light socket fixture are both brass. The chain is brass coated metal. All parts were tested with a magnet. The magnet doesn't stick to the brass parts. But does stick to the chain. It comes with the original cast iron hanging hardware. The light hangs from the ceiling 30" The brass ceiling fixture is 5 1/4" in diameter. The shade measures 7" in diameter and 3 3/4" tall. It has the original ceramic socket and cloth insulated wires. There are several breaks in the insulation, so the lamp will have to be rewired. The glass shade is in very good condition, with no chips or cracks. There are wear marks from where the pull chain rubbed on the outside ... moreof the shade. These can be seen in the last picture. This lamp has been tested working however it still has the old cloth wire s so you may want to have them replaced. This lamp comes with the original finial and ceiling mounting bracket. Antique Light Vintage Black Wrought Iron Hanging Chandelier Swag Lamp w Chain Lamp measures 20" tall x 10" across at the widest part near the top. The chain is Metal Brass in color that has been painted black. The chain measures at least 11 feet long. See pictures it does have paint missing. Light fixture is BLACK wrought iron. NEEDS SOME CLEANING AND REWIRING. Electric Candle Cover in the center is chipped around the edge and has black paint spray on it as well as black paint spray on the Light bulb also. SEE PICS FOR CONDITION ~ SOLD AS IS NO RETURNS. The lamp does work however it needs to be rewired. due to the age and condition of the OLD wiring I would recommend it be rewired before use. 3 Chain Ceiling Light: Fixture Vintage Shade w/ Reproduction Brass Fixture Base
This dainty little gem of a ceiling light fixture has a maximum drop of approximately 14 inches and is 10 1/2 inches at its widest point. The vintage globe is clear glass and it is painted on the inside with a frosted type paint finish. It features a decorative floral pattern that is molded into the glass. The solid brass fitter base with a nickel finish is made from brass kit parts and features a new porcelain socket, new wires, new brass, and new mounting hardware. The fixture is showing it's age with the vintage glass shade having some chipping around the area where one of the chain rests in the hole and wear in the finish, along the top of the glass rim as well as a small scratch on the bottom outside side of the shade. All components are in excellent condition and are from the mid century era. The shade and stem compliment each other nicely. The shade measures about 12 inches in diameter and is in wonderful condition with no chips or cracks. The metal components have been sanded and repainted a glossy white. The original Leviton porcelain socket has been rewired and accepts a 150 watt bulb. This amazing light fixture hangs 16 inches from the ceiling. The mounting hardware will be included. This charming ceiling light features a light pinkish peach color vintage glass deco shade with a new solid polished brass fixture. The light fixture has a maximum height of approximately 14 inches and is 11 inches at it's widest point. The shade is vintage and is showing its age with some imperfections in the frosted pinkish peach colored glass including small scuffs on the underside of the shade and small chips in chain holes all of which is pretty common for old glass. The new solid brass fixture base is from a pre-assembled fitter kit featuring a brass beaded chain. Porcelain socket and wire(all U.L. listed but the fixture is not U.L. approved) There is a small tarnish mark in the brass neck and other minor imperfections in the brass finish. Does not show when hung. The shade measures: about 10 1/4" across x ABOUT 4 1/4" deep and hangs from the original Porcelier fixture by three chains. Needs the little end caps on the chains. Antique Brass Light Fixture Hanging Pull Chain Hallway Closet Stairway Ceiling
Up for auction is an antique brass light fixture. Ceiling mount with a pull chain. I'm guessing it's brass. It is not magnetic. Looks like brass. Has a cloth cord. Black piece between the cord and fixture is plastic or bakelite. It uses a standard size bulb. I don't know if it works. I have no way of testing it. The pull chain does click when pulled. It's in good used condition. No cracks. Chips, or breaks. Brass shows wear, scuffs, marks, paint marks. It might be able to be cleaned/polished. I haven't tried, I'll leave that to the experts. I think it has character the way it is now. Cloth wrap on the cord has fraying but I don't see any bare wire exposed. The wire inside the cloth wrap seems to be cloth wrapped and not torn or frayed. It measures 12" long. The part that mounts to the ceiling is 4 1/2" ... morediameter, about 3" long. Socket is 2 1/2" long. French Art Deco Chandelier Ceiling Lightshade by Degué with original gilt metal suspension. Ca 1930s Superb Art Deco chandelier by Degué(a contraction of David Guéron) Degué existed until the 1930s. When it was a fierce rival of Cristallerie Schneider, and its output of comparable quality. It is in a delicate peachy-pink and has a modernist design of stylized flowers and spiky fronds. It is fully intact with its original heavy gilt metal suspension. It is rare to find a complete fitting. As the parts were often lost when tastes change and they were taken down. It is signed Degué. Very nice light fixture. Featuring an antique three chain shade with clear and ivory satin glass sunflower design, fixture is metal(probably steel) with a sort of"arts and crafts" style, painted ivory. Shade hangs from 3 chrome chains. New socket and wiring, the socket will easily take a 100 watt bulb, possibly higher, this is up to the buyer. The shade has some water marks on the satin parts of the glass, they are not obvious but the price is much lower than usual for this type of item because it is not"new" looking, it definitely has some antique patina as does the fixture.
