Antique Pair of 22" Tall French Brass Mirrored Candle Sconces
This is a fabulous Antique Pair of French Solid Brass Candle Sconces that stand 22" tall with an oval mirror that is 6.5" x 8.5" tall. The arms are twisted and measure 3.5" deep x 4" long. The candle cup is 2" x 2.5" with holes should you choose to put crystals on them( these do not come with the crystals) The top Urn& flame design is 7" from the mirror and the bottom 7" from the bottom of the mirror. The mirrors are original and the backing is felt. Excellent condition with original patina. They will be taken apart for safe shipping.

For sale is a beautiful pair of antique brass candle sconces with a rich green patina in some of the crevices. They weigh 234 grams each and mount with four screws. They protrude 9" from the wall and can swing freely on their hinges. The mount itself is 3.25" tall and wide. Each sconce will accept a candle up to 1" diameter and has a screw to hold smaller candles securely. Inside of mount is stamped CM 741.

The y both have hard to read marks on the back- looks like DEP.MUSTER. Each scon ce stands out from the wall about 9 3/4 inches(24.8 cm) The flat piece that mounts to the wall measures about 4 3/4 inches(12.1 cm) top to bottom and 2 3/4 inches(7 cm) across at the widest point. Some points on condition: the pins on which these sconces swivel are different and likely not original. There is some pitting and greenish oxidation(see pictures) also some very small age/stress cracks that do not affect either the look or structural integrity of these sconces. I believe the hardware to be antique(1800s) but have been recycled onto the wood plaque probably around the late 50s early 60s when the Hollywood Regency designs were all a fad. Measures 15 x 10 1/4 x 7-inches. Each weigh approximately 5lbs. I buy from estate sales. Rummage sales, flea markets and auctions. Antique Hardwood Repurposed Loom Shuttle Candle Sconces. Vintage. Brass fittings
This was a really cool find out of Brimfield. Massachusetts. It is a pair of antique loom shuttles that have been repurposed as sconces. The sconces are a hard wood with a brass fittings. The quill has been stabilized, and a piece of scrolled wood with a candle holder has been attached to it. It hangs nicely on the wall, with only a nail in the wall necessary to hang it. The loom shuttle has a maker's mark on it. But I do not recognize it. It appears to be a small"H" with a large"S" looking very much like the American dollar sign. Pair ANTIQUE SOLID BRASS CANDLE WALL SCONCES Ornate Rococo Design Unique
This auction is for a pair of antique solid brass candle wall sconces. That hold 3 candles each. Each candle is placed in the"bud" of a stylized open flower. And each candle holder is threaded and can be unscrewed. The middle holder on each sconce is slightly askew, which was part of the original manufacture. Each sconce is quite solid, and no part can be easily bent. Each is 17" high and 14" wide, and extends 4" from the wall. In the close-up photo of the back, the screws holding the arms can be seen, as well as the metal hook from which each hangs. My late husband bought these wall sconces at a Vermont antique shop in the mid-1940's. They were authenticated at that time as having been made in the early 1900's. He used them at one time. So there is some candle residue from use years ago. However, they have ... morebeen unused and packed in a carton for the last 45 years. Neither has ever been polished, and both retain their patina. This pair of sconces was very recently appraised for $450-$600, by the fine arts director at an auction house. Each sconces is beautifully designed and have to lights that would come out from the wall. I believe that they are brass by their look and due to the fact that they are non magnetic. But I am not 100% sure. Each piece measures approx 10" tall by 10 3/4" wide and would stick out from the wall approx 6 1/2" Both of the sconces are in very good to great condition. I do not see any damage other than some normal age and usage wear. There should have been prisms hanging underneath the light arms but I am sorry to say that I do not have them. With all vintage lighting I would suggest getting the pieces rewired. I have taken a few photos so that you may see the condition and the true beauty ... moreof this wonderful light fixture. Height is over 18" Width over a foot. Alas, three candle holders were broken off. Originally was for 15 candles, now takes only a dozen. The chandelier is dismountable so a clever owner probably can reassemble it into a less elaborate piece with three candle less. Anyway. Pair of beautiful late Victorian or Art Nouveau electrified candle sconces in ornate brass. They are marked on the back with PCCF. And +++++ underneath. At first I had thought they were made for a church(and they may well have been) but some internet research found another piece with the PCCF markings. Skinner Auctions sold a French Art Nouveau fireplace screen marked PCCF and 151CC for $652 in June of 2011. So these are definitely high end sconces; substantial. Ornate and beautiful metalwork from all angles. They measure approximately 8-1/2" high. 6-1/4" deep, and 3" wide at candle cup. Probably made for candles. I believe someone has wired them. I have not tested them, though from the look of the wires, they have been used. They are marked in pen"R" and"L" on the back.

15" brass candlestick sconce with 3 1/4" brass base wall mount. The gold and honey amber glass mosaic shade is 8 1/4" tall with a 4 3/8" opening. The overall length is 23 3/8" and will be 7 3/4" away from the wall. Both pieces are in great condition. Very little signs of use, no chips or cracks.
