Markel Art Deco Chandelier Custard Cup Shades 3 Light
Three bulb custard cup chandelier manufactured by Markel Electric Co. with original custard cup shades. Chandelier body was disassembled and bead blasted to remove the dilapidated original finish. Repainted a neutral tan color very similar to the original paint. Lastly. Gold accents were applied by hand to produce a period appropriate restoration grade finish. For your consideration is this Vintage Art Deco slip shade. The shade measures 7 3/8" by 4 1/2" wide at the top fitters and 1 1/2" wide at the bottom. The shade is in great condition. It has a couple of tiny flea bite chips on the fitters and one on the inside of the top left scallop. These are small and will not show or affect the hanging of the shade in the fixture. Antique Ornate 3 Arm Cast Iron Chandelier Art Nouveau Deco Industrial Electric
Hello Industrial and Art Deco collectors! Up for bids is this recently recovered 3 arm cast iron chandelier. It appears to be 1920s vintage and at a cross over from Art Nouveau to Art Deco. It has black and white paint over what appears to be brass or copper. Measures just over 13 inches high. There are 12 inches between each arm and the base mount is 5 inches across. I see no marks to indicate maker. Still original wire. But it hasn't been tested. Comes from storage so needs cleaning up from some dust and dirt, but what a great restoration project! please view all 11 photos, this is an exquisite vintage antique Art Deco 3-light chandelier fixture.looks like what might have been hanging in your room on the Titanic.its very heavy and large.it has 2 separate glass globes.one globe which covers the 3 light bulbs at bottom and one that covers part of the center hardware it hangs on.the metal parts are aluminum with what looks like maybe remnants of gold.the st icker still on back reads. Underwriter Laboratories Inc Inspected Electric Fixture Issue 79753.there are also the remnants of another sticker that disintegrated when I was cleaning it.it was a square red black and green small sticker which I think had"UL" on it. the bottom glass globe is very thick and heavy.it is antique white frosted glass with pretty beveled panels and a small clear glass raised patterned lip and center. ... moreglobe measures 14.25" in diameter and 3.5" high, the smaller globe is clear and crown shaped with a tiny raised diamond pattern.it flares out from bottom to top into 12 small points.measures 5.5" high x 6" top diameter, there are some wires still showing.I do not know if this is in working condition but I would suggest replacing the wires for safety reasons due to its age this needs to be cleaned.I cleaned most of it.still dirty where the wires are and light bulbs attach there is no damage.there are flea bites on the inside rim of large globe.and a few on the outside.and some rough rim spots.it is missing the piece that holds the bottom globe onto the threaded center rod, overall height is approx 13.5" please keep in mind when viewing photos this is not actually hanging so you are seeing it at eye level/looking down on it. Very nice light fixture. Featuring an antique three chain shade with clear and ivory satin glass sunflower design, fixture is metal(probably steel) with a sort of"arts and crafts" style, painted ivory. Shade hangs from 3 chrome chains. New socket and wiring, the socket will easily take a 100 watt bulb, possibly higher, this is up to the buyer. The shade has some water marks on the satin parts of the glass, they are not obvious but the price is much lower than usual for this type of item because it is not"new" looking, it definitely has some antique patina as does the fixture. This light will be about 40 inches tall when the glass is installed. glass not included. This fixture needs the glass replaced which is only 3/8" thick white glass cut 2.25 wide and starting in the middle with a 34 inch length that is pointed on the top and then repeated on each side 1 inch shorter each time also with a pointed top. You will have a total of 9 pieces that slide right in the top when the sconce is installed. There are 3 toggle switches at the bottom that controls the lights. Usually has white red and blue bulbs installed. The electrical has not been tested. The metal decoration on the bottom has a break in the front and some corrosion as shown in the photos. Up for auction are 3 Art Deco Style ceiling or sconce flush mount lights. I am selling these for parts or restoration as they are not complete. As seen in the photos there is one ceramic socket missing from each lamp. I planned on ordering the replacemant parts and restoring the lights but went a different route. These have paint on them from someone painting around them.also fly specks ect. I have not tried to clean them. They measure end to end 12 inches and side to side 6 inches. They are not extremely heavy but a magnet does not stick to them so they may be brass.Each has the little"tassel" looking thing that goes thru the center hole to attach to the ceiling box/fixture. Gill Art Deco Industrial Pendant Light Fixture Rayed Fine Rib Bell Globe 1910 #3
This beautiful Art Deco Pendant Industrial Light Fixture with Clear Glass Rayed Fine Rib Zipper Pattern Bell Style Shade came from an old Woolworth Store that closed here years ago. The Globe is marked Gill Co. Inc. Pat'd 1910 and the turn switch on the metal fixture is marked is marked ARROW and has an arrow through an E. The globe as I said is bell shaped and has a row of fine ribs running down and there will be three plain and the fourth is zippered. It gives a nice pointed edge to the bottom where every one comes down. The glass is very clear. The top of the globe has some roughness inside the top open area that was in the making and has no chipping on the outer edge. This is seen with most old fixtures. I note one chip on one of the ribs that is not very noticeable. The metal on this one has been cleaned and someone has added a newer ... morelight socket and switch. I have the old one which I will include. All the other hardware is there. This light is meant to hang and move and has a chain link. It measures about 16"18" according to how it is adjusted. The globe is 6" tall and about 10" across the bottom. It is about 2 1/4" across the top. It will probably need to be rewired. Everything is there to hang this very nice light fixture. Additional shades are available in separate auctions. No mark. But possibly made by Markel or for Markel fixtures. The shade is 7 3/4 inches long x 4 3/4 inches wide x 3 inches high. Shade 3 is in very good condition but does have a small chip and a couple very small flea bites(see pictures) around the bottom edge that will not be noticed when mounted.

Vintage 1930s Art Deco Chandelier Large 3 Light#591. Here is a beautiful. Large old chandelier that has been refurbished and rewired. It's gorgeous and heavy! Beautiful cream colored shade is 14" wide! Rewired with beautiful period correct. Gold cloth covered wire. Brand new 3 socket cluster holds up to 60 watts in each socket. Large bulbs fit! Matching ANTIQUE GLASS column is super cool and very rare! Bobeche will hold 8 crystals(not included) Brand new. Real brass hardware. except for fixture chain which is brass plated steel for strength) The 3 ball chains. Vintage ceiling cap is some kind of metal painted gold. Hangs 21" as shown but can be adjusted up or down by removing or adding chain links. Or by adjusting the length of the small chains that hold the shade in place. Condition Notes: Like new working condition. Top quality ... morerefurbishing. Shade: Not perfect. But very nice. No chips, but has tiny amount of wear- all of which can be seen in pictures. PLEASE NOTE that at each hole where the chains go through is a straight line that you can barely, barely even see. I believe this line is the start of a stress crack. It does not go through the shade all the way, so possibly just a scratch from the chains. Please see pictures. Please ask all questions before bidding and view all pictures. Vintage Floral Art Deco/Nouveau Chandelier 3 Lamp Ceiling Light Fixture restore
Hello. This is an early ceiling fixture. You receive the item shown. This is a pre-owned salvaged item that will show signs of age and handling. This fixture will need rewired. It hangs approximately 31 1/4" from the ceiling. The ceiling mount/cover is cast iron. The chandelier is a die-cast non-ferrous metal. The upright hanger bracket does show some chipping/flaking spots. Fixture is being sold as is for parts/restoration. It has been gently cleaned and could use additional cleaning. THE CHANDELIER WILL BE TAKEN APART FOR SHIPPING. There are two screws which hold the upright to the chandelier that I will remove. This will help save shipping costs for you. This is an antique"Art-Deco" peach tinted frosted glass globe designed for any 3 chain format period or reproduction light fixture. This piece is very beautful with a beautiful rose pattern wrapping around the center of the circumference This piece is in near perfect condition with minimal signs of its age. With slight wear around the chain holes and some signs of typical use, to be expected in a piece of its age. The frosted color is completely uniform with absolutely no discoloration whatsoever.
