I cannot know if these are original, or later additions(so that the sconces can cover modern electrical boxes) The back-plates have a center section in a vellum color; I’m uncertain as to the material, it might be vellum. On the back is some writing in pencil but I cannot read this. Alas. Under each socket housing(quite distinctive in shape) is a glass disk with cut edges. There’s also a glass sphere in the center. For your consideration is this fabulous antiuqe Pre-1920's French Yellow Bronze Chandelier dripping with wonderful quality crystal prisms. Pale amethyst French Country prisms,rosettes and Czech glass fruit. This exquisite chandelier has large grapes in amber and amethyst with delicate clear leaves, deep amethsyt and clear grape clusters with leaves, large amber and amethyst apples with large clear leaves. This is a four arm chandelier and does come with beautiful little shades for the bulbs as shown. It measures 19 3/4" tall by 12" wide. The bronze chain is made up of 1 inch links and measures 11 1/2" long. It has it's canopy, which measures 4 1/4" across and note in picture, canopy does have a clicker switch and a hole drilled in it for some reason. The wiring is all new, so it is ready to hang. The candle covers ... moreappear to be original, they show some age and wear, but are gorgeous on the light. The little shades measure 2 1/2" tall by 2" across the bottom. All of the shades are in good condition, one is missing one strand of its 1" fringe and has the string hanging down as shown, it could be turned to the back. The lower glass tube along the center body does have about a quarter inch of it's top lip broken off. This is not noticeable as you can see from overall pictures, unless you really examine the center body. The finishing touch of this lovely light is the crystal finial that measures 5 1/2" long. Vintage French flower and leaf 3 light metal chandelier for restoration or refurbishing. This lamp has been repainted silver including chain. Is missing 1 socket cover/cup as shown, needs canopy for mounting to ceiling, and has no prisms. Some of the silver paint is chipping throughout and shows original paint underneath as shown in pics.
