The vintage Cupid brass figure is approximately 8 1/2 inches tall and the lamp with the shade stands around 18 inches tall. It is on a solid marble base. My estimate for the figure and base is around the 1930s and it has a French look to it. The beautiful thing is that it has been rewired professionally. So no worries about the wiring. Also, the shade is newer and looks pretty nice, but the statue is exquisite 1930s beauty. It has excellent detail like a great sculpture. It has its original patina. Nothing on the statue is broken, cracked. The nose has a bit of wear like somebody was rubbing it, but that makes it charming. I tried to capture the nose in the photographs. This is a smaller lamp. So please consider the size of 9 inches is. The size of the statue. Again, this is quality. I purchased this from an estate. The house was way over $1 million. I like the shade, but it isn't original to the lamp. This lamp would look beautiful with an antique shade in my opinion. So please examine the pictures carefully because what you see in the pictures and what I describe will be better than what you see in the pictures and what I describe when it arrives. Offered is a beautiful old French Empire brass/bronze chandelier measuring19.5 inches wide by 23 inches high plus the 9 inch ornate cast brass chain and matching ceiling canopy. This is a 4 light chandelier. Solid cast brass with black tole accents. The chains are ornate cast brass as well. The chain and canopy are solid cast brass as well as the large flame shape fineal in the centre. The attention to detail is second to none. This handsome vintage chandelier has new wiring and black/gold drip candle sleeves. There is plenty of extra lead wire in case greater height is required.
