Antique 40's "Bag Style" Glass Chandelier 1 of set of 3 Boudoir Glam
Hi. I have here for auction an attractive Antique 1940's BAG STYLE CRYSTAL GLASS CHANDELIER, It comes complete with the original ceiling support hook which is unusual in itself, please see pic 7. This Chandelier was taken from an exclusive apartment opposite The Harrods department store in London. Knightsbridge 30 years ago by my fathers company. It is from a set of three matching chandeliers. Large 44 cm wide x 28 cm deep 7 Tier waterfall, Medium 30 cm wide x 28 cm deep 6 Tiers waterfall and Smaller 27 cm wide x 24cm deep"BAG" style chandelier. The only one for sale in this auction is this"BAG style" one. The others are listed separately(see pic 8 for a group shot) My fathers company had acquired the flat sort of accidentally in a company takeover/ buyout at the time. I would think the 3 chandeliers I have for sale ... morewould have been up in this flat for at least 20-30 years making the age of the chandeliers approx 50-60 years old. Fortunately when the company decided to renovate and modernise the apartment my father brought these amazing chandeliers home to the west midlands where they have lived ever since. Unfortunately I am now moving into a rented house for 18 months so must slim down. The Chandelier is absolutely spectacular and I have found it extremely difficult to photograph. To be honest it needs a really thorough clean so it will really sparkle. I have also recently done some research into its history and I now belive it is of excellent quality. It has 5 raised leaves from the upper tier from which a swag of crystals also drape around the top. The Top measures 10 inches or approx 27 cms across. The depth of the chandelier from the top of the leaves to the central flower shaped disc at the bottom measures approx 24 cm or approx 9 inches. It has no damage that I can see& there are no droppers or crystals missing. Please contact me if you have any questions. I am offering for auction a beautiful ANTIQUE SET OF GOTHIC AND ART DECO DIRECT WIRED WALL SCONCE CANDLE LIGHTS This set is stunning and in excellent condition for their age. The back plate that mounts to the wall and arm appear to be cast iron with a lovely gothic or art deco design. The uplip holder of the candle appears to be brass. Not sure but the finish is of brass. The candle extends up from the center of the tulip arm and has the original drip candle covers in great condition. The lights are wired and ready to hang. They are direct wired lights. ABOUT THE FINISH: The polychrome is a rich browny gold with cocoa highlights. There are touches of red and emerald. With orange flowers. Quite lovely. The two 5-bulb fixtures have striking blue columns. The polychrome on all the fixtures but the 5-bulb chandelier is in pretty good condition and I will restore this. The 5-bulb chandelier was painted brown at some point; I will replicate the finish so it matches the rest of the set. ABOUT THE LENGTHS: The surface-mounted 5-bulb is about 17-inches high. The other fixtures cannot be less than about 25-inches long. I can make them longer of course. All the wiring will be new. And cloth-covered. Nice. These type fixtures are called strap-style because they are made primarily from flat metal bars. Like belt straps. What I love about such fixtures is how curvaceous they are. Just lovely to look at. The style was very popular in the 1920s and 1930s. And used in a variety of home styles

Unique& Rare Antique Sconce Light Fixture Set From an old mansion built in the mid 1800's. And I believe it was original to the mansion. Heavy Brass& Wood weighs 3 pounds and 12 ounces each. Heavily etched face and very ornate pieces. Unique with carved wood in the back and brass on the front. One piece has been cut out in the back to expose the face. Featured is a fine pair of antique/vintage brass wall candle sconces with clear and frosted glass open top hurricane globe. These sconces begin with ornately patterned oval brass back-plate. The center of the back-plate shows off nice scrolled brass work. The arm leads into a long center-piece. The bottom showcasing nice hatch-patterns that lead into a carved brass finial. The top of the center-piece shows off three levels of curved brass fern-patterned leaves that the shade collar sets within. The shade collar is adorned with a frosted and clear glass shade with flower design. Top edge is clear and ruffled. The sconce design resembles a pineapple pattern. Antique or vintage glass herringbone type ceiling light fixture shade set of 2
Antique or vintage set of 2 matching glass ceiling light fixture shades with herringbone type thin glass. They are the 3 hole mounting type and are in good condition. There are no chips or cracks that I could see. There is some minor chips by the chain mounting holes as seen in the pictures. One of them has had a clear repair by 2 of the mounting holes and it is not easy to see when the chain is installed. They are 10 1/2" across and 5" deep. Up for consideration is a fine set of 4 or 2 pair of Antique French Wall Sconces. The sconces date from about 1910 or so and measure 14 1/2 inches tall by about 10 inches by 5 inches deep. This set consists of 3 arms on each piece with great casting and super casting. As with good fine quality French Sconces they are cast in many separate pieces. The backplate consists of 3 separate pieces. There is a lacey bowtie top cascading down and tying into the top of the torch with descending bell flowers in the center body of the torch. The sconces are not yet restored) The set is ideal for. Say, a living room and adjacent dining room, or living room and adjacent foyer. Of course, I can also envision the set in your newly renovated kitchen! The fixtures have really beautiful pearl-colored glass shades with a subtle iridescent finish. And lovely filigree brass bands at top. Gorgeous! Under each shade is a single glass sphere. I love it! On the chandeliers. The upper stems have a thick glass donut, and above that is a stunning brass flourish. Yum! Weaving up through the original chains is new cloth-covered wiring. Nice. The canopies(the cup against the ceiling) are also original. They are very simple. But the shape is a perfect complement to the fixtures(the eye should notice the chandelier and not the canopy) The sconces retain their original mounting buttons, too. Antique custard glass chandelier shades set of 7 Art Deco Arts&Crafts era
A nice set of very old art deco/ arts& crafts chandelier lamp shades. Cream/ custard glass. yellowish- off white) Set of 7. Dimensions are Neck opening diameter 1 1/2" Top Opening diameter 3 3/4" Overall diameter 5 1/2" Height 3" These look great lit. A nice soft light. Weight is about 1/2 lb each. Required packing will make this a relatively heavy package of about 6 lbs. Although the glass is thick it is delicate. Top opening is a fairly rough cut( see photos) and appear to be a mold blown glass. The neck opening is polished quite smooth.
