I am quite certain this is solid brass- It ... moreis non magnetic, very heavy, the lamp weighs over 9 lbs. The whole lamp measures just under 24" tall, The lantern intself measures 7" square and between 10- 11" in height. The base of the stand is also solid brass, and the rest of the stand is iron(magnetic) The lantern portion is very ornate and has 4 unbroken glass, tiny checkerboard, panels in it. One of the panels is loose and not attached to the lamp, but is not broken. The lamp is in excellent working condition as can be seen in the first picture. The only other thing wrong with it is that is needs a new brass cap screw for the top of it- one of the original is missing and currently has a regular screw in place. The electrical cord is short and measures around 20- 21" in length. This is a beautiful unique solid piece and would look great on a patio or other outdoor living area, as well as for indoor decorating. Lamp is dirty and needs a good cleaning. Albion Antiek Antique Bell Jar Lantern 19th. Century Purple Glass Lamp- Rare Color This listing is for a beautiful original antique early 19th century glass bell jar lantern lamp. This lantern comes with its smoke shield and is a beautiful very dark purple amethyst color(the lid is lighter in color but I do believe it is the original smoke shield for this lantern) It retains its original brass fittings and chain. The shield measures 10-3/8" across and the bell jar measures 9-5/8" high and 8-1/2" across. Condition is good. There are manufacturing flaws and irregularities in the glass(air bubbles and lines and folds in the glass on the lid. These are not cracks or damages but happened in the making) The glass has a few air bubbles that were broken through on the surface but there are no chips or cracks and no repairs. Antique 1920's Large Church Chandelier Lantern Light w/ Gothic Details
Beautiful 1927/ 1928 lantern chandelier salvaged from an old church. This beautiful antique piece is rare in that it's perfect for decorating both hanging or sitting on a surface. It is made of hammered iron- I would guess. By the age and look, that it is hand-hammered- and textured glass panels. The glass is removable as shown in the first photo. It has six sides and a piece of glass on the bottom that can be removed as well. The lantern can be used as a light- you can put four bulbs in the fixture- or as a decoration without the light fixture. It does need rewired if being used for that purposed. As the wires were cut when they were salvaged. The fixture, however, can be removed with two screws. Without the fixture, you could use it as a planter on a porch or deck, or with candles, etc. The total height is 38" The glass enclosure ... moreis 26" high and the stem/top is 12" high. It is 13" across at the narrowest point and 14.5" at the widest point. These are very glamorous. Rare historical pieces. This is a beautifully constructed piece with no flaws or damage. Here's a good authentic mission/arts& crafts style lantern fixture that recently came out of a small town Nebraska estate. Would date to 1910 or so. The lantern is 6" by 6" at the base and about 12" to the hanging hook. Made of brass with original green slag glass. Parts of the brass have old gilt paint on them. Some oxidation. No cracks in the glass. Has been safely re-wired for use. Has a pull-chain socket but this can be wired directly with the switch set to on. Use in a hall or on your porch. With it's current length of chain has a about a 32" drop. Chain can be shortened. Great period piece. Careful packing. Guaranteed to be old and authentic.

The top glass piece is missing, two panes have fallen out, and one pane is missing a yellow piece of glass. The frames of the two panes that have fallen out are a little misshapen. The shade is in frosted soft-yellow glass with grooved decoration and gold painted detail. The fixing is in brass and the shade is secured to it with three small screws. Measurements: Glass shade: 11-1/2 inches high x 8-1/7 inches at widest point. Vintage Antique Rare Cast Bowl Urn Light Chandelier Bronze Hall Lantern
For your consideration is this stunning antique cast bowl light with bronze hanger. American made, circa 1917. The entire light measures 37 inches long, the bowl is 10 inches in diameter(11 1/2" including the hanger arms) and 9 1/2" tall without the tassle finial. This light is in wonderful condition, with beautiful patina on the bronze hanger and canopy. It is very high quality compared to many cast bowl lights, due to the thickness of the bowl. The glass is 3/8" thick and frosted white when not lit, as shown in close up photo#8. It takes one Edison base light bulb in the center of the cast bowl. The cast bowl is decorated with urns and great detail even on the little hangers that are held by the bronze poles. The bottom of the cast bowl has a tassle finial. There are no breaks or chips in the bowl, there area few small marks ... moreas shown in close ups and some surface slivers in the interior, probably from drilling for tassle. There is one tiny ding in the canopy and some light scratches in the finish, see close up. This light has been rewired and is ready to hang. Antique Large Beveled Glass Copper Hanging Candle Lantern Chains Pulleys
This stunning lantern is an antique in beautiful condition. All glass is complete and intact. As is the copper leading and fittings, as well as the iron chain, pulleys and hanging piece at the top. It has only minor wear, not even as much as one would expect for something this old. It is lovely when lit. First picture shows it hanging from the ceiling. To light the candle, one pulls down on the candle cup(at the bottom of the lantern) and the chains and pulleys inside allow that to lower while the glass is raised. Light your candle, raise the cup and allow the glass to seat on it again and enjoy the glow. It is really lovely. About 39" tall from the hanging loop at the top to the tip of the copper candle cup at the bottom; the lantern alone is about 28" tall. About 11" in diameter. The candle cup holds a candle about 1 1/4" ... morein diameter. This will be packaged well. Double-boxed, with nothing rattling around, so shipping cost reflects that.

We are very pleased to offer this exceptional antique light fixture. This gorgeous chandelier features exceptional craftsmanship and the finest in detailed design. The fixture is French. Louis XVI style in ornate gilt bronze or HEAVY brass. The chandelier is rounded with an opened, cage design. The detailing features a"mirrored image" in that the upper and lower sections have the same patterns but in reversed order. THIS IS AN INTRICATE, EXCEPTIONAL FIXTURE. The chandelier has 6 distinct panels. Each marked with a brass, fluted column. The columns have a top and bottom finial of a large acorn. Above and below each column is a large brass banner/flag/drape with ribbon accents and beaded borders. Above and below each banner is an acanthus leaf. Attached to the front of the columns are large floral medallions. These medallions have ... moreflower centers, detailed leaves which come from behind the flowers, and a ribbon bow accent above and below. The panels are connected by a large French wreath with drapery and swag detail. The wreaths are featured on both the upper and lower sections of the fixture. The top and bottom are both incised with an elongated egg and dart design which, with the placement, appear as large flowers. Both the top and the bottom have beautiful and large finials. Inside, the fixture houses 6 lights. The lights are"torch" design with ornate light socket housing. The lights alternate in height with every other light"torch" raised. The chandelier still retains its original, ornate chain and heavy, beautifully patterned, ceiling cover/canopy. There are no makers marks or stickers on the fixture. This is an older fixture dating to the 1930s to 1940s. It is very well made and quite heavy. It is in very good condition with very little evidence of age. Pair of Vintage Antique Wall Sconces Lantern Light Lamp Metal Aluminum
Here is a great vintage antique pair of wall sconce lanterns. They are some type of metal but not cast iron as they are non magnetic. The lamps themselves are a bit heavy. But I believe that is due more to the thick lantern lenses than the metal which feels rather light and I believe may be aluminum. They are very weathered, but not rusty. These sconces have a nice scallop design on both the top and bottom of the lantern. The glass in both is in great shape with no cracks or chips. They have a great patina to them and a nice old look. The sconces measure about 9 1/2" tall and about 5 1/4" in diameter. The wall mounting plate measures 4 3/8" in diameter. Wiring is in place, but you may want to rewire. Ornate brass chandelier lantern light fixture in untested condition. This light measures 26" tall and 12" wide. There is a chain on the top which is about 2' tall and grimy. This light is somewhat heavy. It weighs about 17 pounds. There are supposed to be a total of 8 glass panels which have an etched design but 1 of them is missing. There are 4 arms/lights. Vintage Antique Hanging Solid Brass Lamp Light Fixture Lantern On Stand
Here is a very ornate. Solid brass, I believe, hanging lamp lantern on its own solid brass and iron stand. I am quite certain this is solid brass- It is non magnetic, very heavy, the lamp weighs over 9 lbs. The whole lamp measures just under 24" tall, The lantern intself measures 7" square and between 10- 11" in height. The base of the stand is also solid brass, and the rest of the stand is iron(magnetic) The lantern portion is very ornate and has 4 unbroken glass, tiny checkerboard, panels in it. One of the panels is loose and not attached to the lamp, but is not broken. The lamp is in excellent working condition as can be seen in the first picture. The only other thing wrong with it is that is needs a new brass cap screw for the top of it- one of the original is missing and currently has a regular screw in place. The electrical ... morecord is short and measures around 20- 21" in length. This is a beautiful unique solid piece and would look great on a patio or other outdoor living area, as well as for indoor decorating. Lamp is dirty and needs a good cleaning. This lamp has been stored for a long long time and could use a good dusting! Measures 14 inches tall. Finial on the canopy is present and has a loop with a chain for display/ hanging. Lots of ornate scrolling/ twisted and curly metal. Magnet does stick. the metal has been painted to look like copper. There are 6 glass panels. Glass is has an orange tint. Smooth on the inside and a rough. Texture on the outside. The glass panels are in place with wide, bent metal tabs. The bottom finial looks like an opening lotus or tulip! Can be electrified or use with a candle or oil lamp. No damage to any metal or glass! Excellent find for the architectural collector.
