This amazing swag lamp ... moreis from the 1960s or early 1970s. It has six lights and is loaded with Strass Swarovski 30% lead crystal jewel beads. I recently purchased this hanging lamp along with a matching table lamp from the same estate. The table lamp had a copyright date of 1966. This particular lamp was obviously stored away for most of its life, since it still looks like new, and is in excellent condition. The fixture is made with a combination of thick brass-plated heavy metal casting. Some solid brass, and lots of crystals. The main body of the fixture is a thick metal casting and has five lights hanging from the edge, and one that hangs from the center, which is the lowest hanging light on the fixture. The light is controlled with a rotary switch on the underside of the main body of the fixture. The center light can be turned on or off, independently from the others, and is perfect for a mood light or night light. The lamp has a 15 foot long chain with a 20 foot cord with a plug on the end, and is meant to hang by the chain from a hook(not included) and then plugged into a wall outlet. The appropriate decorative hook for hanging should be able to hold at least 15 pounds, which is the total weight of the light fixture, and have the correct anchor system for your ceiling type. The fixture measures 33 inches tall from the top of the cast loop to the bottom of the lowest finial. The maximum width is about 13 inches. This takes six short. Candelabra base light bulbs, and is being shipped with new 15 watt ceiling fan bulbs that I used when I took the pictures. Since the fixture has been stored away for most of its life, very minimal cleaning was needed, but I did that for you. When I found it, about 40% of the crystals were missing, but I was able to locate some of the same size with a very similar cut and of the same high quality. Gorgeous 8 light. 8 arm crystal chadelier. I love this chandelier because it has the best natural patina! The brass/bronze finish has darkened and has some green areas. There is even green patina on several of the prisms' metal wires. All antique prisms. Chandelier is in wonderful working condition. New candle covers. Small metal tag that reads MADE IN SPAIN. Was removed from the estate of an elderly couple in Upstate NY. Would look so fabulous in the bedroom, dining room, dressing room, bathroom! Up for auction is a BEAUTIFUL mid century Hollywood Regency chandelier. Circa mid 1900's. This very unique chandelier is truly SPECTACULAR and pictures do not do it justice. Please note this was a quality high end quality chandelier in it's day and is all brass except for chain links,ceiling canopy and center stem. This has many interesting qualities such as the beautiful leaf portions each holding a crystal prism and each one of the many brass flowers can be removed by un-screwing them. The bottom of the chandelier show many flowers and the bottom center is accented with an accorn finial. Notice the curvature and artwork of each stem that holds the flowers. This is for a beautiful Antique Spanish/French Brass& Crystal 5 Arm Chandelier. With fleur de lis patterns throughout. It came from a Wisconsin Estate. It is marked and made in Spain. Overall, it is in Very Good Original Condition! There are no cracks, chips or repairs. The patina is very nice! There are 51 crystals, which will be removed and packed seperately. The chandelier weighs between 9 and 10 lbs. It measures about 20 1/2 inches tall(without the chain) and about 20 inches wide. There are a total of 6 chain lengths at 2 inches long each, so you could get another 12 inches of height. There is a matching ceiling canopy and ceiling connector. We are pleased to offer this beautiful. Antique(c1930s to 1940s) brass chandelier. This wonderful fixture features a large brass body with a classical urn shape. On the lower section of the body is a large glass ball for accent. The glass is thick and appears to be blown with a sublte vertical pattern. It is deeply etched/cut with a flower on each side. The flowers have long stems and leaves which are also very deep and textural. The unique bottom brass finial is an exact replica of the chandelier body which is a very nice touch. There are 5 brass arms with lovely curved lines. Each arm houses a single bulb. There are 5 hurricane style shades which appear to be hand painted with a soft green and white leave and stem design. This auction if for a very beautiful. Ornate and well made vintage made in Spain brass and crystal chandelier. The chandelier is a three tier one. With crystal prisms hanging from all three layers and it has eight arms with eight lights(candles) The metal work is all solid brass and it is therefore very heavy. Without the prisms on. It weighs 20 pounds. The ornate brass canopy and chain are original to the chandelier and are matching all other scrolled work on the metal. The entire brass metal work on the chandelier is very intricately detailed. And the bottom is completed with a very ornate cap and finial which are again matching all the other scroll work on the fixture. The chandelier. The center of the chandelier features an extremely ornate brass/bronze band with large crystals inside the band. The chandelier is 6 light; you will note a couple of the light sockets are missing bulbs, but they all function perfectly. The brass/bronze is absolutely beautiful throught this fixture. It is embossed with delicate and intricate patterns. The same pattern is also found on the original ceiling cover canopy which is also included with the fixture. Antique Original Victorian Brass and Crystal Chandelier Parts, Just Needs Shade
This is part of an original chandelier from a registered historic Victorian mansion in New London. WI. It would have had a bowl shaped shade covering the sockets. All the hardware is included to make a complete chandelier- just the shade is missing. The base is brass and covers the cast iron bracket that screws to the ceiling. There is a brass post connected to the bracket that fits through the hole in the base. There is a brass ring that screws onto the post to hold the the base in place. On the bottom of the post are three brass loops that form a chain that the chandelier dangles from. The last loop screws onto another post that feeds through three crystal(or possibly really thick glass? pieces. Underneath the crystal is a brass housing for the wires that connect to three sockets. But I cant find marks. It works great and looks great. I don't see any problems with it. Has 18 large crystal prisms, 13 small crystal prisms, and 4 arms. It is missing 3 small prisms. There is a pineapple in the center. It is made out of brass. It measures about 12.5" across and about 13.5" from top to bottom of chandelier.
