Impressive chandeliers I’ve ever offered, and abounds with amazing details: 1) The finial! Wow! Instead of the standard glass sphere. This chandelier has an intricate glass spear! Wow! 2) The five glass S-shaped arms have notches cut into the glass. 3) There are five additional arms which leap into the air. These hold a glass(not plastic! ring. The ring in turn holds double strands which swag out to the other arms. Elegant. Stunning! 4) The candle covers are not plastic. Nor cardboard. They are glass! Yes. Glass! I’ve never seen this before! 5) The glass bobeches(the disks under the candle covers) are unique. These are normally bowl-shaped but the bobeches here are more plate-like. And each has lovely details cut into the glass. 6) The candles sit in glass cups. And these, too, have lovely details cut into the glass. 7) Above the intricate glass stem is a large bobeche. These appear to be original. There is an additional drop in the center(these seem to be replacements) The pipe stems are covered in cloth cord. I also love how the arms sweep down and up. The chandeliers are an impressive 21-inches wide. They are 33-1/2-inches long(to the bottom of the cloth tassel) And 26-3/4-inches minus the tassel. If you need the fixtures shorter, I can reduce the length of the pipe stem a few inches. If you need them longer please contact me. I lusted after this exquisite pair for a long time. It was a thrill to at last purchase them. They are so very beautiful; I love just simply staring at them. Wholly restored and with new wiring. VINTAGE FLUSH MOUNT 3 LIGHT BRASS CHANDELIER HUBBELL I have for auction a vintage flush mount brass chandelier. The light measures 12 inches across and 20 inches down form the ceiling. It is in good vintage condition with a few minor scratches to the finish. The sockets are a C.E. MFG. Co. 60 W. 250 V. The shade holders are the 2 part Hubbell shade rings patented JULY 23-03. FEB 23-04. The paddle sockets work well and the light has been rewired. The shades are in fair condition with some minor chipping on the bottom rims. There are some large bubbles in the glass of the shades. Three bulb custard cup chandelier manufactured by Markel Electric Co. with original custard cup shades. Chandelier body was disassembled and bead blasted to remove the dilapidated original finish. Repainted a neutral tan color very similar to the original paint. Lastly. Gold accents were applied by hand to produce a period appropriate restoration grade finish. We are pleased to offer this chandelier. Dating to the 1970s. This gorgeous Mid Century fixture features 3 tiers. Each tier houses large, etched and smoke glass/crystal panels. The middle tier is wider than the top and bottom. The panels hang on the arms of the brass frame. The chandelier is made so that some of the glass panels hang at 90 degree angles which adds interest to the fixture. Both the top and center tier have 5 light sockets which are attached to the center of the chandelier column. The bottom tier features 5 upward curving arms with lights. Vintage Antique Solid Brass 3 Arm Chandelier Light Fixture w/ Shades Up for your consideration is this beautiful antique solid brass 3 arm chandelier with matching shades. This fixture was installed in the library of a huge“1898” Queen Anne style summer home located in Harbor Springs. Michigan. Most of this home still relied on the original“knob and tube” wiring for its electrical power. The first floor ceilings of this home were 11' high. A few of the ceiling fixtures were controlled by pull chain switches due to the lack of wall switches. This fixture was originally equipped with a pull chain switch. Photo#10 shows the hole where the switch was installed. This ornate fixture has great detailing and is in very good condition. It has an overall height of 36-3/4” from top of canopy to the bottom tip of the finial) The widest point of the ... morefixture is approximately 22” measuring to the edges of shades. This fixture was just re-wired and new socket insulators were installed. It has been gently cleaned so as not to disturb the aged patina. All three of the original solid brass“Fat Boy” sockets have mica centers and are in very good condition. They are marked"Edison Patents 250V 50 C.P" The paddle key switches are marked“Bryant” The 2-1/4" shade fitters are marked"PAT. DEC 9. 90 SEPT 29,96" The three matching holophane style glass shades are in excellent condition. The cross hatched cut glass design and the delicate beaded ruffle enhance the overall beauty of this light. Shades measure 4-3/4" high. Have a 5-1/2" diameter at the ruffled bell opening and are 2-1/4" at the fitter. Canopy has a 5” diameter at the ceiling and is 3” high. The canopy has a couple of small bumps and dings. In addition. There are two tiny pin holes caused by the faulty original bare wiring that arced on the sides of the canopy. Includes a 4" crossbar for installation. Does not include light bulbs. Antique Cast Aluminum/Cut Glass Hanging Light Fixture Chandelier 3-Socket
Up for auction is an antique hanging light fixture/chandelier. I believe it's made mostly of cast aluminum(but not positive) with a white and gold finish. Most of it is not magnetic. The parts the sockets sit in are magnetic, so they probably are cast iron. The upper part is cut glass that is actually 2 pieces. I got this at an estate. Have no idea if it works, no way of testing it. Needs some light cleaning. Appears to have the original wiring. Has 3 sockets that take regular size bulbs. It's in very good condition considering it's age. No chips. Cracks or breaks that I can see in the metal part. The glass part on the top piece has a couple of chips. One of the pictures shows them. It is made mostly of brass however some parts are made of cast iron including the chain. Please ote. This lamp is being sold as-found for parts and repair. This auction is for a CHARMING MULTI FLOWER 3 LIGHT TOLE CHANDELIER The Chandelier measures 16" from the top of the hook to the bottom. And 12 1/2" from light socket to the next socket. The 70" Chain(could be shortened) is attached to a 5 1/4" diameter Canopy. When mounted on the ceiling the canopy measures 3" from the ceiling to the bottom of the loop. The Chandelier is a Beautiful Bouquet of many different varieties of flowers and includes colors of Yellow. Lavender, Pinks, Blues and White. The different leaves have different shades of green. The three light lockets hold the smaller based lights. The base color of the Chandelier is an Antique White/Ivory color and not a bright White. I do not find any markings. please view all 11 photos, this is an exquisite vintage antique Art Deco 3-light chandelier fixture.looks like what might have been hanging in your room on the Titanic.its very heavy and large.it has 2 separate glass globes.one globe which covers the 3 light bulbs at bottom and one that covers part of the center hardware it hangs on.the metal parts are aluminum with what looks like maybe remnants of gold.the st icker still on back reads. Underwriter Laboratories Inc Inspected Electric Fixture Issue 79753.there are also the remnants of another sticker that disintegrated when I was cleaning it.it was a square red black and green small sticker which I think had"UL" on it. the bottom glass globe is very thick and heavy.it is antique white frosted glass with pretty beveled panels and a small clear glass raised patterned lip and center. ... moreglobe measures 14.25" in diameter and 3.5" high, the smaller globe is clear and crown shaped with a tiny raised diamond pattern.it flares out from bottom to top into 12 small points.measures 5.5" high x 6" top diameter, there are some wires still showing.I do not know if this is in working condition but I would suggest replacing the wires for safety reasons due to its age this needs to be cleaned.I cleaned most of it.still dirty where the wires are and light bulbs attach there is no damage.there are flea bites on the inside rim of large globe.and a few on the outside.and some rough rim spots.it is missing the piece that holds the bottom globe onto the threaded center rod, overall height is approx 13.5" please keep in mind when viewing photos this is not actually hanging so you are seeing it at eye level/looking down on it. Vintage Art Deco Hanging Ceiling 3 Bulb Light Fixture Chandelier Cast Iron
Vintage art deco 3 bulb hanging ceiling light fixture with ceiling mount. The body is made of cast iron. The light holders. Round circle at top and ball at bottom are made of a different metal, possibly chrome. It measures about 9 1/2" diameter plus 3 light bulb holders which extend each another 3" It measures about 14 1/4" from top of metal circle to bottom of metal ball, plus chain and ceiling mount. It seems to come off easily when I scrape with my fingernail so wont be a problem. Chandelier is approx 12 1/2" in diameter. It would work well in a bedroom or any area where perhaps the ceiling is not going to allow for much head room. The shade is irridescent and has wonderful scroll and beaded designs. Just fabulous lit. The mount is a nice bronze color and has 3 ceramic sockets accepting standard bulbs. Although the wiring is original it is in good working order but all vintage wiring should be checked. In being thorough. There is a very minor roughness on top inside rim which is partially in the making and mentioned for complete accuracy only. Truly throws lovely patterns when lit. I take great care in packing every item and have been shipping chandeliers worldwide ... morefor over 10 years. I purchase bubble wrap. Vintage Floral Art Deco/Nouveau Chandelier 3 Lamp Ceiling Light Fixture restore
Hello. This is an early ceiling fixture. You receive the item shown. This is a pre-owned salvaged item that will show signs of age and handling. This fixture will need rewired. It hangs approximately 31 1/4" from the ceiling. The ceiling mount/cover is cast iron. The chandelier is a die-cast non-ferrous metal. The upright hanger bracket does show some chipping/flaking spots. Fixture is being sold as is for parts/restoration. It has been gently cleaned and could use additional cleaning. THE CHANDELIER WILL BE TAKEN APART FOR SHIPPING. There are two screws which hold the upright to the chandelier that I will remove. This will help save shipping costs for you.
