You are looking at a beautiful all beveled glass entry door. Very ornate pattern. With 41 pieces of beveled glass. No breaks, very sturdy. This stunning door has been professionally refinished and is ready to install. The grain of the oak is amazing, as you can see in the pictures. It includes the lock box, but will need plates and knobs. From the outside, the knob is on the left, so it swings inward to the right. It measures 36" wide by 79 3/8" tall by 1 3/4" thick. 13 - 8.25"x11.25"Antique Door Beveled Glass Lites Window Panes Light Green Tint
Lot sale of 13 Pcs 8.25" x 11.25" Antique Door Beveled Glass Lites/ Window Panes. Light Green Tinted Glass for 11 pcs. Clear Glass For 2 pcs. There is still dried white paint specks on the glass border edges. There are fine scratches to a lot of the glass panes but not deep enough to really stand out that bad. The border edges have small chips to them but all would be covered by the glass retaining wood trim. Of all 13 glass panes there is one that has bigger chips around the edge and it was still covered by the glass borders wood trim. Somebody must of replaced some glass at one time because there is 11 panes that are light green in color and 2 panes that are very light tan. If you look at a single pane of glass you dont really see colored tint of the glass but when you stack on top of each other the green of the glass becomes ... morebolder. When all 11 are stacked it is a much darker green and if it is one pane I really dont see the green tint. All the glass panes have no cracks or chips in the glass that will be visible after they are install with glass finish moldings. The glass does have some small air bubbles within them. As the last picture shows the original door that I removed the glass panes from which had rotten wood to most of the door.Also if you desire the wooden trim item strips they can be added to shipment fro the price of the additional weight when added to shipment. The weight of the glass alone before shipping is close to 25 lbs so its not a light shipping package when completely boxed and ready for shipment. If these wont sell as a whole amount I might consider selling as singles if there is a demand to buy the single glass pane for around 8-10 dollars each is my estimate. OUTSTANDING! ANTIQUE EASTLAKE FRONT ENTRY DOOR BEVELED GLASS PANES WOOD HARDWARE
This is such a gorgeous door. I hate to let it go. I found it in Missouri about 8 years ago after my house burned down. I intended for it to be my new front door, but as I rebuilt the house, my design changed from a slightly Victorian/Farm look to more a Craftsman/Lodge style. No longer did its beauty compliment the style of the emerging home. I often thought I would find a use for it, but so far it's sat upright against a wall in my garage. Time to pass it along. First of all. It's truly stunning with mortise and tenon joinery. It has a beautiful honey color and has worn unusually well for it's age. There are a few divets and scratches, but nothing major or unsightly.only added character. A previous owner has used a brown putty on a few of them, and to be honest, I didn't notice them until taking the pictures to post here. ... moreThe one imperfection that I had taken notice of when I bought it was a crack in one of the glass panes. It's in the corner and measures approximately 1 1/2" It does not appear to compromise the integrity of the glass pane at all and is not distracting to the eye. All the glass panes have a lovely beveled edge and add charm to an already enchanting door. The bottom front panels have the usual trademark Eastlake designs and also the wonderfully decorative Eastlake hardware including the front and back plate and the inner locking/latch piece. There is no knob. I have no idea, if once complete that the internal hardware will operate properly or not. Although, you shouldn't have much of a problem finding something else, including knobs.they are all over E-bay! I do have cast iron Eastlake style hinges(a set of three) that I will include. The hinge side of the door has several holes where previous hinges had attached. These can be filled and when I place the hinges up to them there are several holes that hit virgin wood and should grab nicely. Great set of all beveled side-lites. They feature coat of arms design, rised panel, side-lite 2/2 have a 15" broken piece of molding from above the mail slot. The framed is panted one side and stained on the interior side with the painted side having a very early finish. No cracks. The door size: 35.5" w x 79" h x 1 5/8" d Glass only: 23" x 37" Approx 95 lbs. Victorian door with beveled coat of arms design and applied egg and dart molding adore the head of the door. With applied wreath carving.original hardware is intact including the door knobs.
