I think this is where a hanging tab would have been, and could be attached. I just hung them by the"eye" at the top. These are in good used condition. There is still some wax in the candle holders. this is a stunning vintage solid brass wall mount electric adjustable sconce lamp. it has beautiful design and detailing and made from very thick heavy brass. it has two arms which each hold flame bulbs. there are two shades that are connected to the shaft in the back. the shades lock into place by the stylized brass nut. And goes up and down the shaft to desired location. it really changes the look and amount of light. the piece has a nice patina. And the arms are very ornate. it is topped with a gorgeous finial and is in great shape. comes with its original hanging bracket hardware. the lamp turns on and off at a switch on the wire. it measures 18 1/4 x 10 3/4 inches. Pair ANTIQUE SOLID BRASS CANDLE WALL SCONCES Ornate Rococo Design Unique
This auction is for a pair of antique solid brass candle wall sconces. That hold 3 candles each. Each candle is placed in the"bud" of a stylized open flower. And each candle holder is threaded and can be unscrewed. The middle holder on each sconce is slightly askew, which was part of the original manufacture. Each sconce is quite solid, and no part can be easily bent. Each is 17" high and 14" wide, and extends 4" from the wall. In the close-up photo of the back, the screws holding the arms can be seen, as well as the metal hook from which each hangs. My late husband bought these wall sconces at a Vermont antique shop in the mid-1940's. They were authenticated at that time as having been made in the early 1900's. He used them at one time. So there is some candle residue from use years ago. However, they have ... morebeen unused and packed in a carton for the last 45 years. Neither has ever been polished, and both retain their patina. This pair of sconces was very recently appraised for $450-$600, by the fine arts director at an auction house. I can only ship within the US(because of their weight) The winning bidder pays only for the actual shipping costs. Each sconces is beautifully designed and have to lights that would come out from the wall. I believe that they are brass by their look and due to the fact that they are non magnetic. But I am not 100% sure. Each piece measures approx 10" tall by 10 3/4" wide and would stick out from the wall approx 6 1/2" Both of the sconces are in very good to great condition. I do not see any damage other than some normal age and usage wear. There should have been prisms hanging underneath the light arms but I am sorry to say that I do not have them. Pair of Brass Dolphin or Fish Mirrored Wall Sconces - Ornate, c. 1890s
Gorgeous set of brass wall sconces. Circa late 1800's to early 1900's. These were acquired at an estate sale where they were represented as"Italian" they do look similar to Bradley& Hubbard, although they are not marked as such. Ornate design with Della Robbia style urn to the top with a fish or dolphin to each side facing in opposite directions. Scrolling design to the frame section of each. With two arms for candles. Each bobeche has 6 crystal pendants. These are quite spectacular assembled and hung! Mirrors are not bevelled and have felt covering to the back to protect the mirror and your walls! The metal appears to be either bronze or brass. They have ornate openwork with a brass plate attached to the back that has a reddish, crackled, finish on the front(it shows through the openwork on the back of the sconce, see photo) The finish appears to be original and so do the cardboard candle covers(the covers have a lot of wear) They both have an on/off switch that appears to be working(it clicks when you turn it) Each sconce measures approximately 12 1/4" high x 9 1/4" across(end of arm, to end of arm) x about 4 7/8" across the back plate that mounts to the wall. this is a rare exquisite antique victorian bronze wall mount candle holder sconce. It was once a gas sconce and could still be concerted back. But was turned into this wonderful candle holder and very high quality. it has exquisite ornate detailing and holds 2 candles. it is made from thick heavy bronze and has a wonderful patina from age. it is highly embossed with beautiful scroll work. And foliage patterns. it measures 12 1/2 x 11 inches and sits 7 1/2 inches from the wall. it is in good shape and can be wired with electricity also if desired. it has new hardware in the back but does not take away from the piece. i believe the middle arm knob is the on/ off gas hook up. very rare victorian sconce. This is a gorgeous pair of ornate brass sconces They are matching. Vintage and original. I was told that they are from the late 1920's. They came out of a brownstone in Brooklyn Heights. They weigh approx. 11 lbs per sconce. The length of the mounting bracket is 9 inches tall and 3 inches at its widest point. When mounted to the wall. They stick out approx. 14 inches. The measurement from the very bottom of the mounting bracket to the top of the candle(not including bulb) is approx. 15 inches. They have 5 lights per sconce. Period Antique Wall Mounted Lamps c1930 Vintage Gold Brass Ornate Italian
Offered here is a unique pair of cast brass and smelter wall lamps. Fitted with new stylistically appropriate damask shades. Pieces such as these were usually made in the United States, and this particular pair was made around the 1930's. These pieces have been carefully rewired, cleaned and restored by our restoration staff. The silk shades are included in the measurements provided below, and are included with the purchase of the sconces. Each sconce measures 36" tall by 4" wide by 9" deep. With the included shade the dimensions are. 36" tall by 14" wide by 12" deep. Each sconce has one socket, accepting one 100 watt Edison based bulb.

This is an old antique Bronze or brass electric wall sconce. Quite heavy for it's size. It has 2 scrolled arms that hold ornate design candelabra style lights. Each has a light socket inside. The candles are made of hard plastic type material. The back section that goes against the wall has a cherub style face. It measures 9 1/2" from top to bottom. It is approximately 6 3/4" wide. Ornate Brass Vintage Electric Wall Sconce Fish Design French ?????
This auction is for a beautiful Brass Vintage Electric Sconce- double Light. It is elegant and ornate with the 2 detailed fish arms. I was told it was from France but I am not sure you decide? It will need all new wiring because this is very old and rusty rotted wiring. please see this in the photos. It is about 7" Tall x 9 3/4" Wide lamp to lamp x about 5" Projection from wall. I believe at one time it must of had globes on each light. There are only 3 original screws to hold the globe and 3 are missing. This is really a beautiful piece. Please email any questions.

This is a Stunning Antique Pair of Solid Brass Mirror Wall Sconces. There is an Urn at the top with Fish or Dolphins on each side. There is a beautiful cut out design on each side. This is 16.5" tall and is 8.5" wide. We found these at an estate sale in Mobile. AL, along with other beautiful items. These are Heavy and weigh almost 6 lbs. including box. This is a very beautiful antique Brass wall light sconce triple arm brackets. 16" tall X 12" wide X 7" deep. Uses the small candelabra bulbs like the one pictured. Never been wired into electricity. This item is in excellent unused condition. The quality of the casting, is evident in the photos.
