It has a very soft white/frosted coloer with beautiful-highly detailed clear glass. All components are in really good vintage condition and are from the mid century era. The shade and stem compliment each other beautifully. The shade measures about 15 1/4 inches in diameter and is in wonderful condition with no chips or cracks. There is minimal wear which only compliments the overall vintage look of this stunning chandelier. This style of shade is very hard to find in this large size. The chain is new and is aluminum-which compliments the other metal pieces quite nicely. The ceiling canopy was sanded and repainted as is also from the same era. There are four new porcelain sockets pictured with 60 watt bulbs as well as all new wiring. This amazing light fixture can be adjusted to hang between 16 and 24 inches from the ceiling. Description: This beautiful ceiling light fixture has a thick glass shade. In what I would call an off-white or ivory color. The rim of the shade and bottom center are clear. The center column is pressed glass with six new hand-cut Czech crystal prisms. Most of the metal components are new with a chrome finish, including the ceiling canopy which is adorned with a vintage decorative glass piece. The fixture hangs down 13-3/4 inches to the bottom of the shade, and measures 11-3/8 inches in diameter. This is a two-light fixture with brand new porcelain sockets and new wiring. All of the glass is in great condition. There are a couple of minor flakes on the inside of the clear rim of the shade. But they are insignificant and not noticeable. Yellow and orange-red, with a stylized floral pattern. The fixture hangs down 10-1/4 inches, and measures 16 inches wide. The glass is in great condition. There are a few minor flakes on the rim, but they are not very noticeable, and do not detract from the beauty of this fixture. The metal components are solid brass. Including the ceiling canopy. Description: This ceiling fixture has a great 1930s vintage glass shade. The shade is white with clear rings and a clear bottom center that has fine concentric rings. The glass has turned a slight amethyst or"sun purple" color as it is sometimes called. Certain types of old glass can turn this color with age. Condition is excellent with no chips or cracks. The chrome shade holder is new. With a new porcelain socket and new wiring, including a ground wire. The light hangs down a total of 7-3/4 inches to the bottom of the shade, and measures 8-1/4 inches wide. The shade has a 4" fitter. This fixture takes a single 60 watt bulb. This vintage School House Ceiling Light and Fixture was reclaimed from the Granby Connecticut High School. Before it was demolished! Globe measurements- 6-1/2" tall. 31" around widest point, 11" wide, 4" across neck opening. White. Hand blown opal glass ~ beautiful! In perfect condition. No cracks, chips or dings. Ceiling Fixture measurements- 6" across ceiling mount- 18-1/2" around. 4" tall, 4-1/2" across neck opening with three screws. Includes original bracket, with 2 screws. ANTIQUE SPELTER WHITE METAL ORNATE HANGING LIGHT VINTAGE NEEDS PRISMS CHANDELIER A lovely. Vintage, spelter or white metal chandelier with a gold finish and a gothic look. There is a steel support on the inside of each of the 8 panels, an ornate white metal ceiling cap, a steel piece that the chains hang from, a steel cross bar that the sockets are attached to, and it hangs from 4 ornate steel chains. It has three light sockets in the middle that turn on or off independently. There are tiny holes all the way around the perimeter where prisms originally would hang from. There is also a hook on each of the four(flat) sides(probably a large prism was hanging there) Also, there is a metal ring around the outside of the sockets that connects to the sides, see photo(probably something would hang from that too) This unusual chandelier measures approximately ... more14 1/2" across x 14 1/4" across x 4" high on the sides x 34" long(from the top of the ceiling cap down to the bottom of the middle socket(hangs a little below the sides) The condition is good with no apparent breaks to the metal parts. It definitely needs to be rewired because I tried to connect it to a plug and it blew a breaker. There are some bends to the scalloped trim, where the prisms go, but I'm sure they will bend back. There is some where to the gold finish but it still looks very good. This will be a beautiful old Chandelier when it is complete! Being offered as is and with No Reserve.
